remember as far as anyone knows we're a nice normal family so anyone asks get started mopey so today we're shooting a family video it's been a while since we've done it no important fact up Oh Bobby the city the emirate that we're from only has one mountain and today we show it to you we are thirty minutes away from the mountain and we decided to get a little snack before we get there just in true we have the energy this is a good stuff amazing kind of chai for the road it's a good stuff I feel like a weather reporter the Binta dusty the windy today the weather is nice that's nice and cool as you can see we're comfortable in our hoodies ah how's the audio another big attraction here are the horse riding also horses are a big part of the Arab culture something you can experience here whether you're an advanced rider or a beginner you can enjoy there's plenty of space and mountains to just explore on horseback and I think that's pretty beautiful and the first up on this stallion is maximum helmet so we're gonna be following Salama on the camel but an important thing that we need to know they separate the rides of the horses and the camels because the camels are actually afraid of the horses I didn't know that well anyway you learned something new [Music] that was an experience on the ship of the desert everyone who comes to this country needs to experience that the magic of riding a camel as something that we relied on so significant to our past making sure that we were survived in the harsh times it's an animal that means a lot to this place and I love the fact that it's included in this experience because I believe anyone who comes to this country should experience it he can't really tell the story of the UAE and our journey to where we are today without tying the story of the camel in addition to the camels and the horses being able to take you around you also got around with the cars and the buggies so now we begin the tour of the jebel Hafiz desert park [Music] these are plants that you find there cults Adam's apple and there are a lot of benefits they're all over this park and if you look at it here's one of the leaves you can see this white sort of paste or liquid coming out of the leaves and what they used to use this for and the olden times here as they would put it on the tooth or in the mouth to numb the pain if there was any sort of infection but it's got so many other health benefits to this plant and it was really a blessing within the desert but you know one thing is as much as something as a benefit at one of the warnings they told us is if you get this in your eye it can be very very harmful all right let's go now we are here at the realistic period area and this is the oldest area in the Jebel hafiz desert part and if you can see there's all these rocks and at the at first sight you would think okay it's just a plain area with rocks but these rocks played a critical role for the survival of the people who lived here so the rocks were used to make tools to make hunting weapons and to make fire by hitting the rocks so essentially this area is what sustained life in those times so the way I remember is the stones were called Flint Flint Flint stones you know Flint stones right flinstones meets it like that that's how I'm remembering Flint stones so it's like Flintstones meet the Flint's that shows that's how you remember Flint stones [Music] alright here we are in one of the traditional tents and it comes with all the equipment you need to relax but the fun part for me is outside so first all we have a couple of telescopes for those interested in looking into the Stars and staring into the galaxies and here we have a outside sitting area so I assume people who come here are gonna be spending a lot less time in those tents and more time out here and here's the beautiful part as well they've got these barbecue areas set up right here so you have these as slabs of rock as a sitting area and this area of rocks as a barbecue station to cook up whatever you want to cook up so I really think it's beautiful land under the night stars [Music] smart kid oh wow just so you a little bit about Sal why she's so excited about this stuff is cinema is the sleep queen she can sleep forever I can sense jealousy and it's actually aren't you supposed to do the opposite like awakes sixteen sleep eight she's she's sleep sixteen you got that good skin here we have another beautiful plan here in the desert again the thing that I love about what you see here in the desert is the plants all serve the purpose and this plant is called ara and if you feel it feels like cotton and what they used to use this for is to stuff pillows with okay here we are at the white wadi and when the monsoon would come through the Indian Ocean it came through here the water and the rain deposits came through here and what you see the reason it's white is from the calcium deposits and even when it rains now the water still flows through here and they have recommended that I come back when it is raining because it's absolutely [Music] now we're at the highlight of the Gemini feat dancer park and that is the UAE s bubble hotel and we're gonna go inside one of the bubble rules to show you just what the experience is like let's go now we're inside the bubble room now what can you expect now first thing is when you come in this carpet at least for me caught my attention this bright brown really lit up the room when the Sun hits it absolutely beautiful and you've got two ACS on either side of the room you're gonna need that in the summer and you've got your fridge you've got your electric kettle there is electricity in these bubble rooms and there is Wi-Fi you've got a couch that you can come and chill out on so here is the bed and it is covered in a white cloth look that seems pretty chilled to me here you have a fitting room or a dressing room area now another thing you're wondering uh toilets so the toilets are actually on the outside let's take a look at that all right now let's take a look at where you get cleaned up we kicked out we will continue this section once I'm done that no the toilet is clear again alright can I do the toilet tour now please silence all right so you're probably wondering where you can get cleaned up where you can get freshened up and they have that right connected to the bubble tent they have the these installations where they have the shower and the bathroom whenever you let's take a look inside so we've seen some activities we've seen some historical areas we've seen the bubble tents we've seen the Bedouin style tents but what do we eat when we're here you never know where breakfast is it's always a mystery they tell you where it is when you check in like yes the breakfast will be at the Olive restaurant on the mezzanine floor if you just take a lap and you always forget it here it's like out in plain sight q you have this dining area that's out in the open and it's with plenty of tables for all the guests oh by the way anyone who actually books one of the dome tents yeah you get breakfast or two for oh yeah please orange juice bucks taking me back to grade before here [Music] now we're gonna take a look inside the dome tent now these are different than the ones that we just saw these are fully covered and a lot closer to the mountain let's take a look inside here we are inside the dome tent we got this massive AC blasting keeping this room cool it feels really nice we've got the bed a couple of sofas as you can see it's pretty much fully covered you got place at the top to see the stars and sort of curtains here that you can open and close to see your view of the mountain from the bed the one thing I'm noticing is that furniture is absolutely gorgeous it feels like a place that you can just come and relax and escape that's for sure here you have your fridge right there cats all again you've got the Wi-Fi over there everything else that you can think of no Apple TV good job guys Jeff another difference between the dome tents and the bubble tent that we just saw is that the shower is actually inside the room itself [Music] here's another historical site at the geography desert park and these are the Beehive tools that date back to 3200 BC that were ordered to be restored by the lady Azad muscle tone and hay on the founding father of the United Arab Emirates there's a hundred and twenty-two tombs here at the park man it's incredible to notice there's this much richness of history that dates so far back right at our doorstep the late she has died the founding father of the UAE said those who do not know their past cannot make the most of their present and their future for it is from the past that we learned and it was an honor to be able to bring my family to one of the UAE s most historical sites to learn the significance that this part of the world had and so they understand that history matters but learning from history is important because it impacts their future and impacts where they can go in this world because sometimes you have to go back to where you're from to appreciate where you are too much love [Music] you
