INSIDE A 7-STORY ULTRA MODERN MANSION WITH 2 ELEVATORS | Luxury Mansion Tour

this is the craziest house that i've ever toured on my channel and i'm so excited to show you guys ladies and gentlemen welcome to la jolla in san diego california the property behind me that we will be touring today features five bedrooms nine bathrooms just under 6 300 square feet of interior space and it's currently on the market for 6 million 995 000 this property is so incredible and i'm so excited to show you all so without any further ado let's go ahead and get started [Music] um this property features seven floors right behind me we have the first level which is going to consist of the garage area the second level will consist of the private guest quarters and then we have separate access into the other five floors which we will cover right now we actually have two different commercial grade elevators inside of this property as well we have the first commercial grade elevator in the first two floors and then we have another commercial grade elevator which can be found inside all of the five floors in the main property so beginning on the exterior of this incredible property we see a white smooth stucco finish surrounding the entire exterior we have a one car garage and we have a two-car garage but this two-car garage is actually a four-car garage because we have two lifters inside of there we see double door access to the first floor and let's head inside now we have just stepped inside this seven story mega mansion on this first floor right here we have the two car garage over to my left and the one car garage and right above me is where we have the guest the space for the elevator inside of here and follow me right down this way and over to my right hand side this is where we have the guest living area very beautiful spacious living room you have space for the mounted flat screen tv inside of here if we take a right-hand turn this is where we have the powder room i do like the wall design inside of this entire powder room and we have a backlit led mirror space an incredibly modern sink and a floating toilet inside of this area thought that was really cool now let's continue on down here and inside of the guest quarters we also have a full-size kitchen space i really like this sleekly integrated modern cabinetry you got your built-in four burner stainless steel stove top with the oven right below some more beautiful modern cabinetry and you've got space for your refrigerator inside of this area another feature i do really love inside of the guest quarters is that you have these floor-to-ceiling glass windows which allow so much natural light inside of here and you have those unbeatable ocean views of la jolla as we continue out of this room we see again those floor-to-ceiling glass windows looking out to the beach some more floating steps which takes us up to the main property but follow me inside of here and this is where we have bedroom number one which is the guest bedroom so again plenty of space inside of here and those iconic floor-to-ceiling glass windows you got your closet space right over here and this area is technically separate from the house so you have your own washer and dryer into this area and this is where we have the full-size bathroom i really like the floating vanity that you have right here and you have the same matching cabinetry to the kitchen that we just checked out i also do like the caesar stone countertop and we have ambient lighting behind the mirror and we also have some ambient lighting right behind that floating vanity as well floating toilet inside of this room nice modern details and this room also has its own full-size glass enclosed walk-in shower space with some nice marble tile work surrounding this entire area and some built-in marble shelving now let's continue outside of this room now we have just checked out the guest quarters and instead of taking these floating stairs up to the observation deck follow me right down here and i want to show you the elevator so you just press your button you wait for the elevator come up a few moments later all right come on in i'm going to press number two 12 seconds later and we have just exited the elevator and now we are on the observation deck tell me guys how cool is that you have a glass enclosed elevator not to mention this is only the first elevator of the property we actually have a separate elevator over in the other five stories that we haven't even entered yet that's crazy now first follow me down these stairs and this is where you have your observation deck we have a nice seating area built-in fire pit inside of this area and some amazing landscaping surrounding this entire space again amazing ocean views of la jolla you really can't beat that there's nothing obstructing your views of the ocean that's just so incredible some more modern glass railings surrounding this area we can take a look at the incredible property i'm so excited to show you let's go [Music] you've got some marble details on the stairs that will carry out through the entire home floor-to-ceiling glass windows on every single floor allowing so much natural light to come inside of this area massive glass pivot door and let's head inside now we have just entered the first floor of the property but before we check out this main floor i want to first go ahead and take you guys underground because that is going to be considered the first floor of this area we have some nice floor to ceiling glass panels separating the floating staircase and again those floor-to-ceiling glass windows which allow so much natural light in and give you those incredible san diego views follow me right down this way again we have an identical floating staircase to the one that we did just see over in the guest area and we have made it to the ground level now at this area we see a beautiful ceiling mounted light fixture again we have elevator access inside of this room as well some nice spaces for some seating areas and follow me right down here and this is where we have your temperature controlled wine cellar inside of this temperature controlled space you can hold up to 200 bottles of wine and inside of here we actually see this nice intricate stone work and we will see that same stone work throughout the rest of the property and i will make sure to point that out to you guys nice glass enclosed area and follow me right down this way and we have a built-in kitchenette you got some designated refrigeration right below here and one of the coolest features about this area guys take a look at this push to open storage tell me how cool is that that is incredible then you just push this button and it automatically closes itself again you have some nice seamlessly integrated cabinet spaces with no visible door handles on most of them now follow me right inside of here and this is where we have the laundry room so we have space for up to two appliances inside of this room again that sleekly integrated cabinetry that we did see over in the guest area and we see that same cabinetry continue throughout the rest of the room and you have your designated stainless steel sync space [Music] now let's continue on through this room and like i mentioned before we have that intricate stone work on this exact side of the wall and follow me right down this way and this is where we have the powder room so inside of this powder room you have a floating vanity with that seamlessly integrated cabinetry that we did just see over in the laundry room caesar stone countertop nice modern ceiling mounted light fixtures and we have a led backlit mirror now continuing on outside of the powder room we have one more room on the first floor of the property and this is where we have your movie room so we have a massive projector screen on the edge of this wall and an interesting feature is that this is actually where the fire escape is so if there is a fire or an emergency at this property you can actually take this screen off of the wall and you have ladder access which will take you up to the observation deck i thought that was very interesting and then we this is where we have the full-size bathroom included inside of this room so inside the full-size bathroom we have a vanity with a caesar stone countertop and the same sleekly integrated cabinetry nice led backlit mirror and we do have another glass enclosed full-size walk-in shower nice marble detail surrounding this entire area and we see the same marble details on the floor the bench and the shelving another cool feature is that you actually have some built-in cabinetry on this side of the wall again sleekly integrated with no door handle showing and these doors are all soft closing as well continuing on over to my left that's where we have the elevator access and this is where we have powder room number two so we got that nice floating vanity with the ambient lighting displayed right below again the same caesar stone countertop in the same cabinetry we have an identical light fixture to the one that we saw over on the first floor you got a nice led backlit mirror with the sandstone and some marble details on this side of the wall now continuing on through the second floor of this property this is where we have the office space so again this entire side of the wall we see some more of that sandstone and on this side of the wall we have some sleekly integrated cabinet spaces in the ambient lighting above and right below continuing through we have some built-in floating shelving spaces and some more of the ambient lighting and this glass enclosed door slides all the way back which takes us into a nice seating area again we have those amazing floor-to-ceiling glass windows which allow tons of natural light in and look directly up to la jolla and at the seating area we also have your built-in fireplace with some more cabinet spaces surrounding this area ambient lighting above and below and the cabinet spaces are actually floating off the ground too really cool feature now we just checked out the first two floors now follow me up this wooden staircase let's go and check out floor number three now we have just made it to floor number three which includes bedroom number three and bedroom number four one of those being the master bedroom now follow me inside of this room and this is where we have bedroom number three instead of having the traditional floor-to-ceiling glass windows we still do have them but these ones actually stack all the way back and lead you into a private balcony space and on the balcony space we also have some nice glass railing and the brushed metal railing on there as well continuing through we have two separate closet spaces inside of this room offering plenty of storage for all the owners clothing and follow me inside of this room we see that hardwood floor transition to a nice marble and this is where we have the ensuite bathroom so inside of this room we have a double vanity with a nice led backlit mirror we have a built-in medicine cabinet right next to the main mirror and we also have full-size glass enclosed shower space again surrounded by that beautiful marble built-in shelving and the marble details on the floor as well we have the elevator access to my left and we see that nice marble transition to a wood floor we've got the glass pivot door leading us into the master bedroom space so again floor-to-ceiling glass windows surrounding this entire side of the wall and these ones are the ones that actually stack all the way back leading you to another private balcony and stack those all the way back and make this room feel almost twice the size again tremendous views of la jolla and the ocean follow me inside of here and this is where we have the master closet area now this closet does not have any built-in shelving because the owner wanted the future buyer to be able to customize it however they liked water closet to my left with a floating toilet and we see that hardwood transition back into the marble and this is where we have the master bathroom area the first detail i want to point out to you that you actually have these built-in cabinets on this side of the marble wall and personally i've never seen this in a property before and i thought it was a very noteworthy feature so we have that glass floating shelving inside of this area and it almost looks like a makeup store like sephora let's take a look at that plenty of utilization of the space and i really like that feature continuing through we have the freestanding tub and we have this window which looks directly up to the ocean and allows plenty of natural flight to come in and take a look at those ocean views such an incredible view continuing through we got the glass enclosed walk-in shower space the marble details continue over inside of here marbles surrounding this entire area you've got the built-in marble shelves built-in bench built-in body sprays and built-in rain head now continuing through the master bathroom we see a double vanity the caesar stone countertop and the sleekly integrated modern cabinetry we also do have ambient lighting behind both mirrors and we see the same led lighting strips surrounding the perimeter of the master bathroom now we have just checked out the entire master suite and we actually do have a film crew currently working on floor number four so i want to go ahead and take you guys over to floor number five right now now we have just made it to floor number five inside of the main house we have this amazing lounge area great seating space we have some more of that sandstone mounted flat screen tv and the gaslight crystalline fireplace right below built into this area we have a full wet bar with some designated refrigeration spaces right below got your sync space nice caesar stone countertop and an incredible detail that i have yet to see at a property until today built-in ice maker very essential for a wet bar then we have some more those automatic storage spaces right above how cool is that let's continue through because we have the same automatic storage spaces on this side of the sandstone more caesar stone and some more of the cabinetry right below now continuing through floor number five an incredible feature is that we have this glass floor which looks down to floor number four how cool is that i've never seen that at a property before that is honestly the coolest feature ever let's continue on down here and this is where we have the private balcony area can we see some more of that modern glass panels and the brushed metal railing and we have those tremendous la jolla beach views and these actually have the same glass stackable doors that we did see over in the other room follow me right down here [Music] and this is where we have your built-in barbecue area i do also like the quartz countertop with that waterfall edge that you have built into this area got your built-in sink and plenty of storage right below this area nice seating area over to my right and again those views are just so unbeatable my goodness you can see another shot of that glass floor looks down to floor number four very cool feature and now i want to go ahead and take you guys into bedroom number five now we have just entered the private hallway over to bedroom number five and take a look at the floor-to-ceiling glass windows that are displayed on either side of this area amazing picture windows leading out to some beautiful foliage and these i'm looking out to beach just can't take my eyes off of that view incredible now follow me right this way and here we have bedroom number five now it is currently staged as a seating area take a look at this modern railing 270 degree ocean views of la jolla san diego the ocean now we've got the closet space for bedroom number five again no built-ins similar to the master because they actually want the owner to choose now we see that hardwood transition into a nice marble we have the motion sensor lights and we have the full-size bathroom so again tremendous ocean views and again these windows actually open up too creating an indoor outdoor flow and i really love the ceiling mounted mirror inside of here very modern nicely integrated and it really matches with the whole rest of the architecture and inside of this room we also have glass enclosed shower space with the same marble details that we have seen in all the other bathrooms and you got your built-in body sprays inside of here now we have just toured the entire fifth floor of this property now follow me back down one flight of stairs and now we're gonna check out floor number four [Music] now we have just made it down to floor number four and the sun has set and now you guys are gonna be able to see those amazing nighttime views of san diego the first item that we have on floor number four is the kitchen you have an amazing center island with bar seating for up to four of your guests and if you continue on right down here we have some more of that seamless modern cabinetry which i really love that we have seen throughout the rest of the property this kitchen features a built-in microwave a built-in steamer a built-in oven and here we have some of that seamlessly integrated cabinetry with some pull out drawers and those are soft closing as well and right next to that cabinetry we've got your built-in side-by-side melee refrigerator freezer space paneled seamlessly integrated to the rest of the cabinetry you have a very unique pantry space right here how cool is that slides out and again seamlessly integrated and paneled to the rest of the cabinetry got your built-in stainless steel sink right here with some more of the built-in cabinetry right below you got your panel dishwasher right here and over to my left-hand side we got your built-in stainless steel wolf design plate warmer that's super cool because i've actually never seen that on property before got the caesar stone countertops on both sides and on my right we have the melee induction cooktop and right above this area we have the stainless steel hood and we have the matching caesar stone backsplash right in front of that area we have picture windows displayed on either side of this space and unfortunately it is dark so we cannot see right now but it actually does look out to some amazing foliage now continuing our tour again we have those incredible floor-to-ceiling glass windows which allow tons of natural light in during the day elevator access to my left and directly in front of me this is where we have the formal dining table currently staged to sit up to eight of your guests and i really love the ceiling mounted light fixture built into this area very modern that's the rest of the architecture of the property this is where we have a nice informal seating space and again you have those stackable sliding doors we seamlessly lead out to the beautiful private balcony space you got the nice glass panel surrounding this entire area with the brushed metal railing now let's continue on down because this room actually does feature a powder room as well so let's go ahead and take a look some more of the sandstone surrounding this entire side of the wall the sandstone continues into the powder room we have an amazing vanity space right here with some more of that seamlessly integrated cabinetry the same caesar tone countertop that we have seen throughout the entire property nice marble walls surrounding this area and i really like the ceiling mounted light fixtures hanging on either side of that mirror space and the mirror is actually backlit some led lights and you have some ambient lighting right below the vanity and again another amazing picture window looking out to the foliage again some more of those floor-to-ceiling glass windows now follow me down this private hallway and we are led into the private bar space now this area actually does contain some sliding stackable doors bringing us to the incredible view now during the day we can see the entire ocean we can see catalina island and all the mountains in the distance but i want to show you guys this view at night time as well because take a look at all the city lights that you have here in san diego california so beautiful and you've got seating for up to six of your guests at this countertop now in this bar area we have a built-in kegerator built-in stainless steel sink right here some more of that caesar stone countertop we got the nice seamlessly integrated cabinetry around this entire area some more of the automatic cabinetry and again it automatically closes i can't get over that feature it's super cool we got some designated refrigeration spaces right over here and on the right we have an ice maker second ice maker inside of this property a second reason why you should love this property so as the last segment of this video i want to go ahead and interview the listing agent simon so simon if you can give us a little bit of introduction about yourself and how you got started in real estate absolutely my name is simon palito i started in real estate in sydney australia um small time ago 19 years wow so i've been doing it for a while i love what i do but yeah i worked in real estate started you know went through the ranks of property management into executive assistant into sales back to an executive assistant back into sales went back again you know crashed and burned a few times as most young people do but um after that straight into the luxury market which i was really gifted and lucky that i had that opportunity uh a lot of agents think of the opportunity to get into the luxury market and always want to and i was very fortunate i had a good role model and a good mentor who she took me on a lot of her presentations and introduced me to the right people so in sydney australia i was dealing with very high-end luxury condos in the middle of the cbd absolutely central business district and that allowed us to just really have a niche so when i moved over to the united states i uh i saw a vacancy or a gap in the marketplace for that type of niche right so i really honed in on that started my own company and now proudly we have some phenomenal listings we do off we do auctions as well okay and uh but we do a lot of high-end luxury properties around california yeah and we've been very successful in doing so but now we are yeah we love what we do that's incredible i love that and so now i want to talk about the property that we just took a look at you told me this property took what was it almost seven years to fully build from start to finish seven years of ownership when we bought it to when it was complete so we bought it as a raw piece of land okay uh we would develop approved plans yeah yeah those plans were not exactly to what we wanted as far as they were more for a spec we were going to we were originally designed the property for us to live in as a family with my father-in-law who wanted to retire and the whole progress of his retirement so yeah we really customized the home for the individual i put a lot of my knowledge coming from sydney like i mentioned to you absolutely there's high rises with luxury sky homes the house itself as you see it looks like a bit of a condominium building when you look at it like that was like a penthouse that's correct we designed it had that feeling of luxury on every level so the frameless glass the the uh the seamless floors the linear drainage the touch cabinetry everything was designed to make life easy but elegant and luxurious so we bought the property 2011 raw we went through the city planning to readjust some of our plans and we broke ground officially in 2013. all right and we completed 2018. that's probably one of the best properties that we featured on the channel so far and it's just really fascinating to hear that it took you know such a long time but once it was fully built it's just it's an absolutely incredible masterpiece of a property and i just i i adore it so much thank you and then another question i wanted to ask you is you know it's been on the market for quite some time and who do you think the ideal buyer would be for a property of that magnitude well we've had two ideal buyers already those two ideal buyers actually had personal circumstances that didn't allow them to complete the transaction so okay um truth be told nothing wrong with the property but unfortunately the stigma that most people say oh it's been on the market for quite some time or something wrong with it right it's not that it's just like what you ask the question it's going to be looking for a very unique specific buyer very true there's not many buyers out there that fit that mold it's a very niche market so yeah truth be told we've had a lot of interest of late but i truly believe it's a sports star celebrity maybe a tech tech head from up north or inland but it's going to be someone who wants to have an entertainer's paradise it's absolutely entertaining it really is a private location this is to be showing off enjoying those views and the homes i don't know if you know or if i told you but it's the only steel and concrete construction property on mount soledad solidar incredible there there are no other homes on mount soledad that are built out of steel and concrete it's a one of one it's a one of a kind i love it i love it and so for the last segment of this interview i want to go ahead and ask you for the audience watching you know there's a lot of people out there who ask me about getting into real estate and they want to know what their first steps should be getting into the market you know at such a young age you know i'm only 20 years old and there's people even younger than me who want to get in some people aren't even 18 yet and they want to be like uh what can i do to get myself prepared what can i do to jump into the market with a running start and i want to see your your thoughts about that and see exactly what advice you have for a newer agent well starting off you're i was already two years deep by your age i started at 18. yeah someone gave me a chance at 18. and if you look at my office and you've met just you've only adjusted in my team but yeah we've got there's 11 of us we're all under 35 exactly not myself but the rest of the team's all under 30 that's right and i love it the energy the enthusiasm you know we've got a point to prove yeah i had a point to prove too when i was young so i guess what i'm trying to say that we always put in the young guys because i love the energy i love the the encouragement you know if you're a young guy you want to get in the industry reach out to me i'll help you get in yeah you know i'm a great believer in starting a friendly great
