hoagie gonna see we have a crab cake hokey here there's like a lot of toys in here in terms of seafood like salmon cheese thing fried homey fried shrimp fried whitening so crab cake i love crackers so the wife is the bomb is the mom the fish toby's bomb yeah i'm just looking at that too everything's about literally hey y'all i am chef angel of signature soul and see located in clifton heights three miles outside of west philadelphia wow we started as a catering company about five years ago i think our anniversary was what the 17th of july so five years ago we started as a catering company out of my home we went from doing that to selling platters out of my out of my car that turned into a cafe in morgantown when that closed down then we went back to what we know which was catering after that we got a food truck during the pandemic like right at the beginning of the pandemic that was signatures mobile cuisine which is when i first was introduced to you and we had that for two years and then as of october of 2021 we got this space that we're announcing we opened january 6 of this year and sold the food truck paid off all of our business debt so now we owe nobody so now we just run we run this and we still cater we still have events we still have parties we still do classes a lot of things that i've always been doing we still do just not moving around as much i took the jump because i actually it was the only thing that brought me peace um no matter what i was doing as a teacher before seven years before i decided to do this full time literally left my teaching job um and just kept pushing at it when i left my job i had 172 in the bank and i used it to buy a business license you have to believe that whatever you have in your hands you can do as long as you believe it you'll do it you'll make it speaking of what's in your hands what's in your hands so yesterday i started making some seafood mac inside of it is shrimp crab and lobster and jerk sauce so i'm going to just attempt to deep fry them it's a freestyle i don't know where it's usually you know usually it usually happens like this we we start off making something and all of a sudden i get an idea and say let's try something else and but we're having game night tonight um inside the restaurant so i thought if it came out the way i wanted to i can sell these as a little appetizer all right that's how that looks what is this called what is it gonna be called seafood mac ball i ain't never tasted nothing like that ever so seafood macbook freestyle oh okay it's a big bite [Music] signatures is basically about every every friend or customer that i kind of come in contact with that eventually like something that i made and they always wanted so i ended up naming most of the of the menu after people that i made food for and i have a friend of mine who's always you know her name is sushana she's always trying to be the caretaker of me and my husband so we go we call her the wife she came in one day and she says wife make me something i said what do you want she said i don't know think of something so i said okay because i know what she likes i made her the wifey the wifey is some cheese fries with a fried cajun shrimp and then an eight ounce crab cake on top with a chipotle sauce and garlic sauce and avocado sauce and it's all about two pounds of worth of food i haven't yet seen anybody finish it so i'm still waiting to see somebody actually finish the whole thing in one shot hasn't happened yet so i'm taking on challengers to see if that's actually gonna happen today this will make no sense [Music] women oh my gosh wait a minute it's really good the crab cake is fresh real like crab meat i don't know what sauces i'm eating but they're delicious garlic they only what is one of them sauce avocado lime baby okay oh my gosh this is really good so this also comes with fried um shrimp they're playing some good good good r b music too all right so i got a little bit of crab cake i got a little bit of fried shrimp all right let's try this out y'all know i'm not we're not gonna eat all this we're just gonna um sample a little bit all right it's like so savory lots of seasoning fried cake is so fresh shrimp is is nice and like covered in like the sauce and the cheese and the fries just come in and just makes this a fun meal only anyone can finish it this is a lot of food it looks heavy got a lot of food left the wifey if y'all into crabs and seafood and french fries and cheese and ultra savoriness and garlic and garlic and avocado this right here is an explosion of flavors so shout out to chef angel i'll come here come get the seafood salads i'm about all of it i'm serious y'all better come get it it's like 20 of them in there i got me one i'ma buy all of it so y'all better come get it now try the seafood salad next baby [Music] oh this people salad ginger it's savory but um there's a sweetness to it that stands out that i really like we are dead ass in a heat wave and like literally i am ting look at that [Music] oh a lot of my fans want to know when they come here they're gonna get the same type of salmon yes made the same way the same way did you hear that same exact way i gotta start doing that now because a lot of my fans be blaming me as if i'm the blame for them treating me better than y'all no just kidding and yeah we're gonna need it for this no way no way we're picking this up either it is too much i think she put maybe about it was probably four slabs of just salmon on here so maybe about 16 ounces i'm assuming four each it's a lot it is a lot a lot of cheese mad cheesy garlic aioli yeah this this is probably it's called a sandwich but i'm gonna treat this like a platter all the food on you's requested you're dancing like i'm feeding you girl you know you look so sexy ordered you a wifey seafood salad curry now about to finish this off with some jerkins jerk and jerk jerk salmon is it we got we got some good problems here a lot of salmon [Music] i thought it was early for 97. oh got a nice spice night kicked up go this is so cheesy it's so cheesy i'm not really tasting the jerk i got the spice there's a spice in here this is a lot of salmon there's nothing wrong with your phone or your tv unfortunately my hard drive crashed that contained some of these video files so what you're seeing right now is a lot of just glitching happening so i was able to capture the audio but unfortunately the video was a little glitchy on his part on here first cheesesteak you gotta eat like this you gotta eat like a platter on the block yeah all right the white's cracking up at me so the good thing about this jerk salmon cheesesteak is very flavorful lots of salmon lots of cheese oh i taste the jerk now now you don't always get this type of like sandwich i do apologize for the corrupted video files up next is the jerk shrimp rice bowl now the part where i'm eating it that video file got corrupted but fortunately i was able to capture this process um this was probably one of my favorite things off the menu i love the rice dish with the spinach and that jerk had a good amount of spice to it it like this was definitely a winner if you guys want to try this out too she gives you a lot of shrimp and that spice just hits you just right [Music] jbq sauce right here you come in order these older the wings so the scent the barbecue salmon yo we got this new drum we just hooked up the jerk salmon and this barbecue sauce the best barbecue sauce ever try it i guarantee you'll love it definitely if you like a little heat a little sweetness this did the jbq sauce check it out chef asked me if i wanted to take some wings home i'm like i'll never say no to food bring it on it's always shaking his head he can't believe it can't believe it up next is the crab cake hoagie this was something i didn't originally order we got done eating uh our three to four dishes and i'm sitting there and something was bothering me i needed to order this even though we were ultimately full i just wanted this to be i just needed to see it i wanted to taste it i had to try it so this is the crab cake hobie at signature soul and see [Music] round two the crab cake hoagie is what i came for we finished everything and i'm like something just doesn't feel right you know i just felt like i came here for one thing and i didn't get it i got it how do you do it how do you do this literally the size of a baseball i said softball earlier baseballs three baseballs in here no way how about this i'm just going to gonna try it why'd i do this to myself i took one bite my brain just shut down on me oh my god it's so savory crispy outside lots of crab look at the crab lots of crap now some people like
