[Music] [Music] [Music] as when up is it to say I'm not sure what happened there's curving to the inside of the outside we should say is they cut across it and we're gonna look at the replay one more time before we go to break and Dave I'm not sure he caught enough of that curving deficit to balance of that race car I don't think he really even touched now now on second look so something happened the rear grip of that car went way but a red flag on the course now still during the spring break window for many that live in the Midwest or that might be visiting or vacationing in Florida but the big thing is this I have a lot of family down here I know a lot of people in the Tampa st. Pete on the side you can see just locked it up got into hard and go tires and straight into the tire barrier unfortunate because I know he had high hopes and just try to get too much too quick maybe just bolt on stuff of the front nose wing assembly listen I don't think it hit the suspension mark I think you're right I think they come in and put the void and Ryan hunter-reay has not done that and hopefully it'll just be bolt on stuff that's right below your perch later today Wow and he yeah that's right in turn number 10 he was approaching his teammate Alexander Rossi setting up for that left-hander locks him up and just slides it big time that is a big hit into turn 10 that car just simply could not get it slowed down there's an onboard shot for those joining us online for Ryan hunter-reay again in turn number 10 mark takes his hands off the steering wheel there's a smart thing but I believe that's Charlie coming through Graham doesn't see him on the inside gets to be squeezed between the wall and Graham and has nowhere to go and ends up actually hitting the back of Graham's car spinning him around so to see if we can get some repair done to that and get back onto the racetrack look how bumpy and narrow this is and plus they're on cold tires you can see the collision happening back there already Graham does a great job about keeping the Carm pointing it forward unfortunately it is stalled the other drivers around they're taking great evasive action now listen with Granberry hawk [Music] there was just no room no room between Kimball the wall and Reijo [Music] he's right up against the wall there was no rail maybe could have given him a little more room there no he was there yeah but Great Hall had some things to worry about on his left us the crown of the road well at an Indy car at high speed that got to be a little much with the fresh pavement and so on so they moved the retaining wall out about 40 feet put that curbing in to try and make it a braking area and a turn instead of just a flat-out kink over that hump and we thought it might get a little congested on the start there's the result flag here in warmup and Nick that is exactly what you did not want to have happen which was the first thing on that checklist that Zach feature shared with us and it's like he got in it just a little too hot and climbed on the binders and was just too late had James Hinchcliffe trailing him by about two or three car lengths putting the pressure on him wasn't making a move to pass [Music] you're not gonna go to a breast for very long and saw this brewing here as they went into the fountain it's almost impossible to get through that two abreast will power stuff sit down the inside Charlie they bumped their bump again and will says I'm going by no matter what and he wasn't all the way up there and well but listen that started Paul side-by-side at the fountain it's not like powers stuffed his way in they were side by side going in there Kimball's you got to know somebody's still there but you got to know Charlie's tough to pass he's always tough to pass and he wasn't will wasn't all the way up on him so everybody knows that charlie is a tough tough guy to pass but for Charlie Kimball that's two races in a row out in the first two or three corners 12 will pop some issues and Connor daily actually it was in the pits when the field took the green saw Hildebrand have to go to the runoff area well this might be why Hildebrand and elosha Wow climbed right up on top of that left rear tire like Hildebrand was trying to make a move on a lotion and he was Graham was trying to make a move on him and they just way out break themselves for the corner but watch the lotion here I think he dodges over at the last second really yeah I'd go back to the other angle you see a load would also experience a slight issue and his Dale point Honda would run through one of the temporary advertising banners to bring out a red flag the car was ok for the st. Pete winner and after the whole mantra safety team removed the new sponsorship off a four days car he continued on Ryan hunter-reay wouldn't be as fortunate with eight minutes left in the practice session his DHL Honda would lock up and slides the gravel and turn three [Music] further back he had no chance they were pretty spread out as they go side by side patch you know making it turn one Laurie contacted to the wall but Kayla lotion loses it down low to him several cars taken out Marco Andretti the guy who made the movement start was Sebastian a here big hit in the side patil a lotion let's go ahead and roll here and see what happens there goes a lotion up ahead and now he's gonna just slide up the track and they have well where to go his lip is coming down on board a no big deal DeWitt there not been a spinning car then down below there's other people getting sideways that's Marco Andretti not sure if he was hit and he spun on his own he probably had to just get on the brakes to check up Kaleb ov in here look like he went drive he's got Dixon on his side he just lost it flat-out lost it and he's had the eyes of the series chief steward on him he's had some incidents with some other drivers this year an aggressive driving that he just it just got away from cold tires slick track hunter-reay barely got around that barely snuck by there were four wide behind him and there's still guys coming in here that piled in oh it was Bray hall trying to sneak through the middle of max Chilton and the wrecking cars of motion and Marco Andretti here's a great shot from up above he's got Dixon right on his hip there and it just came out from under him so close for a halt almost getting through tact by mikhail and send him up into marco andretti [Music] riding along with Graham Rahal just trying to thread a needle I couldn't go taking a look here Takuma Sato same thing as Rossi cold tires out of the pits up in the gray and just Wallops the turn four wall that was really odd and there's Padgett Oh coming through turn four as his teammates I think you're right Paul we're just exiting pit lane so we'll have to see where it cycles back and roll this he's going to come through the turn car coming from behind just slices the back of the tire you can see that right there hits the rear wing spins Tony around that's 27 it look like of Marco Andretti I think the one that might have gotten hit was 19 at Jones they were side by side going in see if it's the car to the left here that gets him [Music] I can't tell Kenya it almost looked like the right rear pod of Tony Kanaan scuffle this is from Andretti's onboard camera looking left eyed he's there and I drove him to the back of him [Music] there it is they just got up didn't turn for some reason hit the side of the [Music] a couple of cars right behind him Kevin look like he I think you're right it was the number nine of Scott Dixon and perhaps the 98 of Alexander Rossi oh yeah that's definitely Dixon Rossi has to get slowed down and then that's one of the home coast cars either Piggot or Saavedra third in line there or head carpenter racing he drives the road in Street courses in the number 20 and there's our first look at the replay and he's on loan to whom coach racing for this month of May [Music] here's one more look and a late look at the end of that and we see J no that's Marco Andretti I think I think that might have been Marco Andretti that yes it is the 27 car that go with about five minutes that would be my best guess here it is oh wow looks like he tried to correct and that it's something not something that you do car the car is gonna turn right into the wall head first Wow he was losing the back end tried to correct and luckily did hit mostly sideways instead of going straight in second impact is going to be very hard so unfortunately a lot of work to do for the fight team by far the fastest of an 8 / 231 miles per hour and then this worst I can recall in many years and for Sebastian doesn't really use the safety fencing he lands on top of it obviously part of the part of the car got into it to rip it open right yes you know we talked about the number three of Elio Castroneves going underneath Scott Dixon's car remember it was Elio a few years ago that ended up going airborne between turns one and two and walked away from that incident as well we see how Scott Dixon was thrown around inside the cockpit of the car all these drivers are so physically fit he works out here locally as we ride along onboard this is from Castroneves he went right under it [Music] there are so many things that have to go perfect kind of it did the right thing the smart thing I think we're ladies look out ladies well you and you do you when you're on the outside you just soft-pedaling if the car works well you can get off a throttle in a large amount but he probably was just trying to creep the thing down there cuz it was so much into the turn so I understand your point I just think that Ryan hunter-reay that was Motor Speedway this horrific crash moments ago produced a red flag J Howard's car comes across that's the four-time champion Scott Dixon who launches in his airborne his car contacts the wall with the right side spins around and comes to rest Howard's car also just about 30 feet away back up that's going on everybody's starting to get packed up a little bit he thinks I'll go around the outside not enough room to go around the 83 of Charlie Kimbo just touch his wheels and when you're on the outside you're up in that gray area and off he went into the wall I'm sure if he had to do over with that one he would want to do that one more time differently but to his defense he was on a roll wasn't he he just needed an extra half a foot but it's kind of early in the race we had only done 67 laps what a pity he had a good car underneath him now as he slows down watch Elio Castroneves look here after the crash watch it sort of the back end of the the incident and there'll be some debris right here that will catch Harvey and he'll spin trying to avoid it IndyCar Series in the Indy 500 now you see in the top right corner his car is already around by a time he's getting to the midpoint of the turn that's the apex it looked like the back end had come around on him early on though before I even came into the pitcher and other car involved here nope so the car was either what we call very loose where the back end wants to come around on you we call that oversteer or something broke on the car I'm gonna be one more replay here you can see the skid marks up into the wall the safer barrier it's been in play a little bit here today that steel and foam energy reduction system and for buddy 49 years old previous winner of this race at 49 the oldest driver in the series very the fit driver spends a lot of time getting ready for this race [Music] powers inside inside inside inside [Applause] I think for willpower he saw that unfolding ahead of him and then start to get off the gas maybe the cars behind him didn't see that and almost got run over by Takuma Sato and power get out of the gases the car will go sideways it looks like he's just got a lot of dirty air car goes sideways and man he's so lucky to collect that and that there was actually another car there on the inside every by the 105 you see he was off the gas going in the turn right behind her all the way there to come down now the drivers that are behind have literally nowhere to go and they can't even see where they're going [Music] through there he really does I saw that the previous one always seems to find a perfect way to get through it [Music] do garden [Music] take it back you did hit something but it looked like it's even and it's on the left-hand side fine [Applause] CK here so much experience [Music] he should have been involved not but his experience he took his foot off the gas [Applause] [Music] see everybody takes their hands on the steering wheel there as you said Eddie almost got through there and that's how a lot of this in the car too isn't it we do that while the how about yep that's exactly where it is he's going around that little inner loop and around turn nine and he some heavy contact with with the outside retaining wall backed it in I don't think it was much of an impact for rosty but he was moving at a pretty decent clip there so well while we have this red flag condition that jQuery has a guest on pit row Jake a lot of times he's in the booth a little different set up here at belle-isle of course between where everything is laid out throughout the course of the island so Luis friend out here on pit road thing open so well there we see the hit just coming off of turn two there's that bridge right there mark that's a there's a bit of a bump there but that there's just no grip there I was out in the two-seater this morning and with the rain [Music] [Music] [Music] tect a cut tire but it certainly looked like a lotion barely got into him flat yeah something broke or you got a flat tire I've just kind of skated up the track and hit the outside wall on the exit so it was a glancing blow it wasn't a half spin and hit the wall but either something in the suspension broke James hitch clipped to the safety vehicle on par with Dixon let's watch up ahead Castroneves is 1 in front of the 7th yeah for saying watch it hold the bottom all the bottom for sure something broke on the car or the tire went down he just went straight the car took off straight so what do you think Scott Dixon is thinking after what happened in Indianapolis someone hitting the outside sliding back down get me out of this you know if he might have lit if he could have lit it might have blistered that front tire it could have went flat he comes down on Tony Kanaan here he's kind of blocking vodi a bunch right here it's his teammate a lotion who's giving him cliff nowhere to go Oh Bo da got contact as well a lotion made it three wide down the back straightaway and when Hinchcliffe had to move up he was pinched terrible result for boadwine's that was having such a great run so both Dale point cars both Schmidt Peterson cars both ed carpenter cars all go out in that accident who watch here watch this so he starts coming down they touch right here and he got into that tank slapper who see as we see that the tank slapper is when you just kind of lose the car now you're fighting the car back and forth trying to correct it left and right fishtailing it's you're out of control as we watched from the lotions rear view camera here see the back end back in the pitch Cliff's car was sneaking forth you're just out of control you can never keep up with it downs there's three lanes here at Texas down the back straightaway the problem is when a lotion went wide went three ride he occupied the second lane he gave these guys nowhere to go [Music] on board with carpenter now watch the solutions up there and elosha drops down into the second lane so no roof I didn't die oh we got a crash fold-out foot out foot out go down that was tone array that came from behind him after it got turned I love it when the spotters state the obvious when this when this happens there's really no time for these guys that are twenty thirty car lands back you're in it but when you get there you're going 225 miles an hour there's no way to even slow down that was exactly like the Rossi crash earlier which is you're the sandwich hitches the middle of two cars nowhere to go the the real estate disappears in front of him are beside him and he just ping ponged I just started talking about the drivers were reminded third car in chippy the first one out and we saw I think was hinge look had just done that a moment before yeah I'll maintain that hitch flip with yellow go o go o go o go low tell you what light gray huggles some good drive in there he was real switched on there he got it rode down and didn't get in there wide open like a lot of guys Capote a with his left hand on his helmet it was a big impact but I wonder is he just thinking oh my or what score is he holding the visor down or it was a big I mean Bo da had the hardest hit and he just ricocheted off and had a bat like it's allowed a little bit too high on that mind Joe Joseph Newgarden three wide and three and four I'm not sure you needed to do that then Oh way to go still a long way to go we still got it 47 laps to go so he liked it hot what about 10 to go as you talked as possible if it was 224 that means you have 24 laps of caution meeting every lap of caution we have now you subtract from 24 and that's how many lives we could have on the restart he Townsend he went through that speedy trial at oil dry and as soon as he crossed across that the rear end came out from under them and we can get another replay that he had a big run and went three wide and as soon as he crossed through all that oil dried the back end just slid out from underneath of him but Paul I don't think he would have made it regardless it was so dirty nobody had been running three wide down there let's watch how this is laid after the after the impact there was dust flying off Brewster tail coming off the back of that car just from a green track as well watch Graham Rahal here see on that big pile of speedy dry right there and as soon as he crossed over that Townsend L he just went sideways on fair point that initiated Rickman there's not much grip to her come see right look at look at all the speedy dry here right there boom it sideways it shouldn't see it that so the Trent they haven't done a very good job of cleaning that up I guess they figured nobody's gonna go up there but but somebody tried it okay to clarify on the knew it was gonna happen some point they were absolutely driving like maniacs Scott Dixon is gonna be furious as he should be to get a seventh place finish and let's watch us on how Sato drops a wheel in the grass right here and just loses it it bottoms he loses the rear catches Dixon and they're both around and poor Conor Daly gets wrapped up in and he spins trying to avoid everything and I thought Dixon would make it but that's max Chilton that augered into the side of his teammate Scott Dixon there's Conor Daly down low on that's for sure if Connor had any contact I'm not sato just didn't know where the track limit was there well the track limits the grass well that's what I'm not sure he realized I think he was paying such close attention to power he just didn't have any idea where the verge was at this stage of the race you're so fixated on the nose in front of you and I mean I've touched the grass they're going through the short chute guys do it in Cup cars and you're just so fixated on trying to get the run done and get a run down the inside you just missed time mistimed that corner a little bit as we see come on we got a great view right here watch the dirt kick up off of his car [Music] and it happens that quickly [Music] and the crash supply hello what a great job for grant ray ha'la'tha look far down the track and just nurse that thing past the chaos here it is from another angle now it had been discussed I had asked the question of race stewards what scenario might you read flag it like we've seen before and were past that point of no return you needed more laps to be able to do that so this is how this one is going to finish a little bit of that cornhole Tod Ward and his buddies who've been camping out there I'm among the many campers here and maybe they'll well Maps he turns so far today he was p1 at a minute 44.1 watching the replay and this is the exact same spot that his teammate Ryan hunter-reay got caught out in this morning's first practice session so he buries it into the tire barrier and likely does a little bit of damage on that front wing assembly so she'll also take a look at Ryan hunter-reay that was this morning you saw him spin it around and turned 14 and nudge up against the tires as well before that side here we go look he comes out he's got a run on Rossi oh boy he brakes his brakes his front wing off then he's got no downforce well not only does he have no downforce but he's in the marbles I don't know if he could have made it Paul without contact as dirty as the racetrack is let's watch from onboard rossik and wide [Music] well you're certainly not gonna make it without [ __ ] wait that corner is so downforce sensitive so and it sure knock some of that downforce off and you're just gonna go straight sure look like to me Rossi moved over hedaan possibly payback one happened Erland in the King Paul which is kind of a weird area he got offers Santa whoa rock riding it rough rodeo style that car was two feet off the ground and luckily he didn't really hit anything hard at all imagine if that nose cone dug in he would have ended like Morial sir this incident is under review Hinchcliffe up the inside has the apex but he gets a little too much of the apex kerb and runs wide no action taken great call from race control let's ride on board again with hitch hitch up the inside gets a little bit of a bounce off that apex curb that was a lot like valtteri botas this morning with most of it left side damage from our view we're gonna take a look at the replay he gets really though the left sides below the line and then he was along for the ride after that and it looks like hopefully Nick mainly built on stuff at the rear of the car he did scrub a lot of speed off before he made contact boy and how about that shot for those joining us online that's the car owner unfortunately having to watch one of his cars of junior hildebrand hit the wall that onboard shot of Ed carpenter as again yellow flag is out at Iowa Speedway as you mentioned yeah hit it pretty solid the nice thing is those rear wing assemblies are built to take a good shot that that rear wing assembly obviously is trashed and these teams they bring multiple replacements they're gonna have to take a good look though mark at the rear suspension in the gearbox of that race car to make sure that enough at the peak corner load right here where you're demanding the most out of the front steering he hits that bump and kind of walks the car up the track and it lets go pretty late just that well but still bumps his head pretty good in the cockpit it we always say it's a light graze but trust me you feel it a lot more in the car it's light for anyone other than the person driving it but two guys today get away very very lucky with in terms of crash damage to the car because crashes when you back it in on a short oval like this here or Phoenix can really do a lot of damage to the car so that was a lucky break for Karla as we watch Mikael he floats it into the corner hits that bump and it just gets loose he buries the throttles to try to get it to spin all the way around but it was going for the wall I like Nick I like the commitment on the cast oh man he was he was going into the fence and still gonna hold it wide open and that was his teammate an inch lived there who came by and came the closest just looked like he had a nice big arc into the corner he went and Esteban Gutierrez would hit the hardest bringing out a red flag with left-side damage to his Dale Coyne Honda and Esteban Gutierrez would hit the hardest bringing out a red flag with left-side damage to his Dale Coyne Honda I think it's a situation to wear down on power they've just had to oh yeah that is coming off of turn 11 what happened a little bit earlier than where I thought it did and when that turn 11 so tight right there and if you miss it at all and looks like he turned in just as a touch early the front end slid and he piledrive that outside wall in turn 11 just destroying the right side of that car and Nicky was not in a hurry to guess right now with the improvements and Andretti Autosport said we have contact that's via number 28 this could be it I would think just so slightly misses it doesn't do a lot of damage to the car right what a shake-up in the championship with his contact we could see a long other back that was a Dixon that wibble and got in I think Dixon locked up his rears in power had to dodge to avoid got into the wall and les Dixon got into the back of Graham ray home a lap he can he goes for a big entry speed Coulter he's locked up way early and he like he was locked up for a hundred yards Townsend before you even got down on the corner well and so bumpy there so cold tires and he will absolutely be kicking himself let's watch it go let's listen I think all four tires are I [Music] he's trying everything he's downshift and he's hoping you're praying at that point anything to stay out of the tire wall decent enough gap that he was racing he was racing all of those guys for position right there but the problem now he's gonna have they're gonna pull him out probably hi Oh they've been mid pack throughout the course of the weekend chasing it a little bit and it's gotten for you I know there was he's going to get back to work some adjustments on the some adjustments on the 83 but yeah Charlie is a Bluebird champion and can become a little frustrated we'll see how that plays out certainly and qualifying later today and Scott what are the question for you guys the further back your pitiful at mid-ohio it's very odd the more uphill you are when it comes to your pit selection your pit stall how does that affect what Charlie does or maybe what you guys do it makes it really hard because it's really hard to get traction especially on cold tires when you leave after a pit stop and obviously the end of the car it looked like that it looks like that front nose assembly really did a nice job in terms of absorbing that impact and bethe did to get that car cleaned up it and again Rob watched that I mean it just he hit it with the left sides the curbing and then all of a sudden I don't know if he overcorrected or what but but boy that's that Michael Young that was a big time head-on hit with Spencer's ray strategist Tim Broyles the car itself can't hold itself up the 20 is a sticker set maybe not enough heat buildup well I look at it as you know if he was running on his own it looked like he had a car slightly in front of him but maybe he was trying to do a qualifying sim it's I couldn't see what his downforce level was when he hit the wall but you know if you're going a sticker set it makes sense to do that qual sim with 16 minutes we have left before qualifying because you're gonna have to know what that balance is when you go to push it here around noon ill coin racing that's actually out of the tunnel turn that car steps out Zach and does not not very heavy contact but that's an odd spot to see drivers get sideways over the last couple years here well I mean to be honest as long as it didn't get too far into the front nose cone on top of the car if you're gonna spin on an oval and hit something that's the best way to do it we see him lose the car in the middle turn to spend completely around to where his nose is facing the outside retaining wall and just the nose hits the wall and keeps him sliding forward so I don't know if he's got too much damage there the car looks [Music] reasonably bottom as he went in and then it just got loose and kind of rode it out for a good two three hundred feet and then it just kept going going going and really what you don't want is for it to hook back like Forte at Indianapolis so oh that's the worst noise in this sport that thundering blow luckily for the safer barrier for the driver the safer barrier takes a lot of the impact these days but it still hurts ball the car get up on its side but it does its job it doesn't tip all the way over that was one of the issues from a few years ago when the cars were backwards after impact going over and this time it did stay on the green hard on the inside let's watch just like ed carpenters crash but probably twice the force the same side both times you see the wheel still stayed to the car it's got a tether attached to it so it doesn't go flying down the road look he matched at carpenter's marks perfectly lost at exact same point but this was on a qualifying run where the corner speed is up and when it lets go like that this is not going to be fun that was a straight flat pancake against the wall now watch this as he rotates back around at this point he'll be looking at the start of the pit wall just hoping that the car does not impact that head-on [Music] and what happens here Hinchcliffe on the inside down low on Hildebrand kind of just a racing deal one guy was coming down and the guy was coming up just a little bit they barely touched and yeah both of them in the wall hitch clips square on the back attenuator hitch cliff had a little bit of space to the yellow line but probably didn't want to get too close to the apron meanwhile Hildebrand doesn't really want to run too high because as we've seen already if you get up in that gray you won't finish the corner so let's walk up watch on board with hitch here hard hit I was just really one of those racing deals was a pretty late attempt by Hinchcliffe to kind of put it in there that late he was only at his back wheel no Hildebrand was going for the line you don't want to get too high and getting the gray and Hinchcliffe was kind of just stuffing it in there really late I agree with you Paul plus you know hitch go back again to see what happened to sebastian Saavedra very similar to his teammate James Hinchcliffe gets high into the gray and pretty heavy impact saved it once and then it hooked back into the wall and the right rear walloped as we get another angle on board same deal as Hinchcliffe he just got high car coming out of the pits fujio's coming out of the pits he got in high down into gray and in front-end was gone we'll see here see they're coming around real quick cuz the pace lap was quick and he lost it on cold tires that's max Chilton coming by Charlie Kimball oh there's Martin went rainy so he just got my alright and that is a disaster not only for economic but for Scott Dixon because he needs Tony Kanaan to mix it up with the field as we ride out or that's a big hit that's a game it's a game ender of it and it was like he just he just lost it all on his own cold tires that was a big move from Newgarden and boy willpower is lucky the way ed carpenter backed up gearbox first onboard with new guard and watch this how about this set in a championship tone big move around the outside there goes power straight around I think he just picked up some turbulent air and chaos behind yeah Newgarden came down took the line away from will cut the air off the front of the car not anything wrong with that move he was completely clear of him and it just pulled the back end of willpower's car around and then Sato and carpenter in reaction also get turned or turn around tell you what what paleo Castroneves was almost into that he barely missed therefore these guys and take a look here it just went straight yeah it's broke smart see this part it's so something for sure broke on that car it's been a bad night for red carpenters team let's first find out what happened to Max children lost it behind he was really tucked up behind the car behind him and it just got away from him towns in the back end kicked out it and problems for max Chilton that is through the inner loop there the bus stop portion of the racetrack it's a rhythm section where you go to the right back to the left then back to the riot and mark that car just look evil coming out of that corner as he spins it looks like a hundred and eighty degrees they asked slaps the right side of that car max children it doesn't look like job and tremendous amount of candy TOEFL and penis that bolt-on stuff that the set of fire stones is trash though most assuredly that's a set of blacks and maxes Odin stepped out of a race car and result power and give it a look-see although without being innocent chance to see the replay dick pretty heavy suspension what happened let's have a look from above so brill power raced him hard off pit road but what happens to the championship leader he just understeered into the end of the grass hit the wall and then the next car came along and hit him and if we stay on this shot watch Marco come hopefully into the picture and does exactly the same thing you could see a little puff of right-front smoke on all three of these cars we're locking right fronts remember you come off the pit speed limit or you get all the acceleration it will watch on board listen to do garden you don't realize very very downhill he's locked up the tires locked up going in and just Oh big hit and new Gardens very lucky he walloped as they went on to put all these guys lose the racing line up a bit out so that's that was it wasn't smart that was come on that hit the wall his car looks very similar so this is very very steep downhill it's very deceiving he just locked it up and remember it was new garden last week at Gateway swooping across the nose of power who crashed on the opening lap now new guard has the mistake it's a very very similar pit exit to like getting out of the pits and Daytona you know the night and you come in there you think oh I'm not going very fast I'm clobbering the barcode and if you think correctly about that PT guess who did it it happens to the best of them Jeff happened to James Hinchcliffe on the opening one oh it's almost like he got hit he got hit by somebody oh yeah big time he sort of left a 1/2 door open here this is a view from Jack hobby he says he's table I think it was the number 20 car of Spencer Piggott and this is the Kanani and senate nannies toys already down he's sitting center of track there and hobby gets hit by D'Mello my zach climate D'Mello and both those cars were just trying to avoid the unexpected slow car of Tony Kanaan just looking at them until the Koscheck cut into tiny tots got a right rear already [Music]
