Indestructible Weaponry | Minecraft Modded Survival Ep. 2

all right everybody welcome back to modded survival make sure you check out the like button and help us get to our super lofty target goal of two likes on this video to celebrate episode two i'll be one of the likes so i i think if we put all our powers together we can make this happen anyway in this episode i want to try to get to the nether do a little exploration maybe see if we can find a fortress get some blaze rods i think our best bet probably is gonna be to go to the end and get an elytra and do all that before we pursue the twilight dimensions from divine rpg too much because there are some sky island dimensions having elijah will be super duper nice to have you know last time i played this electricity i don't think they existed in the game so this is gonna be our first time experiencing this with the ability to fly around with elytra fireworks so yeah it's gonna be really nice and helpful and also i totally misremembered super modded survival because that wasn't divine rpg that was eternal isle's advent of ascension which was the same mod creator but it was kind of like a follow-up not really a sequel just kind of building on what divine rpg had already done don't don't my house is too pretty it's too pretty to explode that was so close i also don't want to have craters in my garden you stopped at once okay i put too much effort into this house oh my god my house is being assaulted they don't want me to have a beautiful house i really should have put some torches outside and inside that would have been probably a good idea now wouldn't it i came back up because i want to get some water i think we'll want to grab some obsidian we can vein mine obsidian i'm going to remember to do it and then we can make another portal and i think like we can kind of just jump into the nether right like we've got our iron i guess a couple more gold could be nice so that we just have the ability to uh throw some boots on if we need them but otherwise let's see what should we what should we bring with us probably just some food some iron some coal maybe the diamond just in case although i think there's some stuff that we can get in the nether that could be better than than diamond potentially for us i'm not gonna bother sorting out my inventory just because look we're gonna get a refined storage system okay it's gonna happen and it's gonna be beautiful and so i don't have to worry about sorting out my inventory beforehand okay it's it's gonna be great it's gonna be super organized soon as i i need quartz from the nether so that's gonna be another thing we wanna harvest for the sake of uh refined storage and then oh my god i'm not gonna have to worry about like splitting up my chests into a bunch of different things i tried to lobby shavaxi on on you know adding and refined storage into rl craft i think i mentioned in the last episode i don't know whether or not that's gonna happen but we'll have it here because here i make my own rules all right let's go and snag some obsidian ah it's so nice i'm thinking past me for not making a head-hitter tunnel it's pretty great okay so where was the um yeah there was lava down this path i'm pretty sure and then also i'm gonna bruh come on just one more thing that i need down here and then i'll be out of your system okay all right we need some gravel for the flint i think i got some there let's vein mine this bro we're vein mining everything is that some realm light that's some real might let's go you guys just won't leave me alone here come on dude so the nether shallow really nice and pretty because it's got again oh the biomes you'll go which if any of you saw the better minecraft thing that i did whether here on the second channel that's the mod that gave all the different biomes and there's some oh there we go there's some cool stuff in the nether so all right let's get some obi here and we'll be good to go hopefully the obby doesn't incinerate in lava that's right below this before i'm able to collect it please don't attack me while i'm mining zombie wait is that rupees right there bro i'm pretty sure that that right there is rupees which is a huge pickup for us because that stuff is super super hard to find like as i was spectator mode flying through some other worlds when i was testing out the mod pack just making sure everything worked properly and there was or generation like that stuff even in spectator hard to spot so how many we get we got three dude let's go i thought we could make like a really sick sword or something if we wanted to do it and it'd probably do a lot of nice damage let's see i'll check once i get back up so i'm not getting attacked all over the place while i'm looking jei rupee sword 12 damage whew that's a big one right there but also there's the shickax and the shake ax even though it it does 12 damage it doesn't require a sword in the crafting recipe so i almost feel like it'll be better for us not to use this on a sword and maybe do maybe do a pickaxe but i can't remember if the shickax requires things with no damage taken like they have to be pristine and new so maybe i can't use this for now which is kind of a bummer potentially but there are a couple things that we need from the nether as far as divine rpg one is called toradites because we need this toradite shunk in order to make the mysterious clock which summons the ancient eternal which gets us on our way to the twilight dimensions so we're looking for this toradite ore here that oh my god the zombies just won't leave me alone did you come all the way out of the cave i mean to be fair i don't really care too much about the traitor but anywho so we need this and then there's also blood gems which do make a really sick sword two attack speed nine attack damage is still better than a diamond sword and it's unbreakable so i mean that could be a good way to go for a sword for the time being so i'm just thinking like let's let's get rolling here we'll bring the iron along in case we need to make some new stuff we have the extra gold make the foot in steel i think we can just jump into the nether honestly at this point uh yeah surely this isn't too early surely i'm not just going to get obliterated i'm thinking let's make this far enough away from our house so that we don't have to hear the wushu of the portal and uh yep no this is good all right you guys you ready to rock and roll oh you know what i should actually do before i head into the nether i should make my house look a little bit prettier maybe i'll strive in each episode as long as i'm like here in the overworld or have the ability to come back here to to add something an element to beautify my already extremely beautiful home and i want to say appreciate all the comments on the last episode saying hey it looks very nice i yeah i mean of course it looks nice i'm a really good minecraft builder person so why wouldn't it look nice of course but still i appreciate you uh reinforcing the obvious i'll keep the obsidian for whatever reason so um it's it's pretty pretty nice of you to say that also though speaking of comments from the last episode um i saw a lot of suggestions as far as mods that i could add into the game and i haven't added them in yet because i wanted to get the next episode going but i'll try to work on those in between this and episode three and i could have been vein running trees for a while couldn't i yep yep i could have why was i why was i wasting time like doing that was okay it was kind of dumb yeah it was kind of that was really dumb i just get cool that makes life like 10 times easier is this still birch just in a different biome uh no it's yellow birch leaves interesting which would look better on our house i kind of i want to add like the little you know the foliage out here could yellow birch ooh yellow birch it do be looking kind of nice though i see i was talking about this last time around you had that it just like adds just a little bit extra texture to things you know maybe at the front door too yeah i like that and then see what you can do is let's take some of the birch here and then we'll go ahead and we'll make some trapdoors out of that you know and then probably more than we need but look look look look look and then we can put these trap doors all along here and then it kind of it's like a planter and i'm definitely the first person ever to have this idea no one has ever done planters outside of their wind look look look now that's that's looking pretty homey right there all right just it's gonna be hard to keep thinking of things that i could i could do every episode to add in and and make our house you know nice and spruced up not really spruced up more like birched up but we'll we'll figure it out we'll figure it out one way or the other all right now that that's done and looking incredible let's go into the nether and see what it has in store for us please be nice to me right so some of the ones that i saw like tinker's construct was a suggestion there's a mod that allows you to hit mobs like through grass should be really great for those short little tree dudes who try to nip at me all the time i should wait point this all right where are we gonna go this looks pretty dead endy over here we like are we under a bastion no no this would no i think this is just the biome anywho oh my god there's there's so much bloom it's wait are you guys mad oh no wait you're got it there's another berry bushes that's that's just swell that's oh jesus right honestly i can't i can't even laugh at you guys cause 100 i'm gonna i'm gonna end up doing this in like two seconds i'm not gonna see it so thanks for taking one for the team though because i 100 wouldn't have realized what a run into one is that yeah no get out of here i don't like that i don't like you do we need to put on gold i need to find gold actually oh there's someone mad i'm going i'm going down here on the mini-map i wonder if we can like see uh any structures or anything that would be really really sick if we could on top of tinker's construct and being able to swing through the ground the grass and stuff like that i saw people suggesting i switch over to zero's mini map over journey map so maybe i'll i'll give that a swamp or something we'll see i guess people are saying it's just more stable and oh i oh you almost got me you stupid freaking berry bush not like this not gonna happen so i think as i mentioned the divine rpg bad guys shouldn't spawn much frequently at all in in the oh the biomes you'll go by them which are really cool looking so i think i think that's probably a good thing though because uh one of the dudes i think is called the wildfire i think that's bloodjam we should grab that it's just oh boy they rapid fire flaming arrows at you and i'm pretty sure at our current state we uh we'd be in trouble that if we encountered that so um i think i think we should just even though it might make it more difficult to find those mobs to farm them for what we need later on i think it'll be better for our survivability is that that doesn't oh bro nope nope nope i don't have gold yet just give me one moment oh god you took out half my health that's not super cool uh i don't think that's toradite that looks like slightly different let's see what it is what are you this is netherrubies i wonder what that does and we need quartz so we should grab that when we see it and we'll get lots of levels as well so we can do enchants and stuff like that yeah so some of the early things that we need to work for with uh refined storage and actually you know what this is a good time let me just get that sword going that'll be sick for it i should have saved the diamonds i didn't really like think about the fact that we're gonna have this super duper powerful sword that we can make really really easily early on so oh dude all the way up to 50 quarts already what the frick did we get that what the heck i don't have fortune how did i just get that many oh it's wild okay well anyway two of these and then yeah dude we'll just have the uh let's have the sword like ready to go this thing is gonna do nine damage or seven here this is gonna do nine at a two attack speed so the dps is just like off the charts higher plus unbreakable i feel like we might be using this for a little while although i don't know if we can enchance it if we can't enchant it then we'll probably have to swap it out pretty soon but anyway the early things that we need to do for refined storage are we need power obviously for it so the early mechanism generator is the heat generator because it doesn't require any of the alloy stuff so osmium we've already got a bit that's why i mined a little bit of copper down there as we were just about exiting to get the water earlier so this will power our initial i forget what the machine is called that makes the alloys but then from there we can work towards the advanced solar generator or the wind generator or both of them and then we can probably power the refined storage system from there which controllers aren't like super expensive we basically yeah we just need the quartz and then we need some slime for the processor binding and stuff and then we'll be all good anyway there we go what is that sound oh what the frick is that uh hello hello excuse me hello okay flaming floating skull thing and then i think that's one of the oh yeah that's the withering snakey boy okay yep withering snakey boy cool by the way what is this what the frick is it got glowstone ore and then this is cinesite right which i i've never actually put to use before but i think i think it's useful for some like kind of nethery tools and stuff that tie in with better nether that is a that is a crazy sound that those skull things make all right where do we want to keep going let's maybe head over here bro [Music] one hit let's go done absolutely wrecked that's what you get uh also gold would be great if we could find some of that i mean we got oh 37 bro we're popping off it seems like everything oh hello excuse me every vein seems to just have like mass amounts of drops oh wait dude let's just go boom boots all right good to go just in case we need it okay chill i need you to chill i can't remember if these dudes do a lot of damage but okay that goes right through the shield that goes right through the shield no no no no no no no no no done okay just two oh my god leave me alone oh there it little feisty freaking ow ow ow freak off frick off frick off they fly away and then they come back and they're really the movements are kind of hard to predict and stuff okay oh good on gold for a little bit let's keep getting the quartz i should keep checking the mini map just to see if they're like any structures that i can find i actually kind of see back where we can't no i think that might just be the biome that we came out came in from but keep looking and oh i see something over to the east let me see what is that wait oh i think that's a bastion yeah that's got to be a bastion because i see the pattern of the the lava and i think it's a treasure bastion at that so wait is there a music man what bro wait no i don't wanna i don't wanna kill you i don't wanna kill you you've got music playing we can be friends he's got a boombox backpack my man you got any trades no i don't wanna kill him though that would be mean he's just jamming i'm just a visitor here of course he has every right to be worried i can't i can't slay him for just jamming to his tunes let's um i guess let's go for it treasure bastion will have the gold that'll be good for getting nether pearls nether pearls that might be an item for all i know anyway i'm just gonna like peek in a little bit just do a little sneaky peek before okay that's good i'll do right at that somebody sounds angry somebody sounds a little upset okay that's the spawner right there oh boy oh boy oh boy oh it's brutes dude this freaking okay your hitbox is a little freaking ridiculous i'm just gonna throw it out there i want a bunch of these dudes spawning though um okay how am i gonna do how am i gonna do this oh this is so risky dude this is so risky there's two brutes patrolling the bridge right on top um yo let me okay i gotta dump out the water bucket and then grab this for defense and uh oh frick oh god oh frick he's going oh jesus we don't want that we don't want that frick frick frick frick frick okay we're good freaking good do i need to build uh do i need to wall this up though that's the question do i need to wall it up don't have to worry about dura here which is nice okay uh separate this area out like a little lava wall area that thing's kind of scary okay that's good somehow they haven't noticed me yet um good oh god i don't like expand this too much because then if the brutes drop down on my head i might how have they not seen me dude oh my god i'm freaking i am stealth as frick dude okay okay here's the here's the idea i'm gonna i'm gonna try to wall this area up i mean as soon as i break the gold they're gonna be on me right i gotta oh god i wonder if i should have worked on making like a a waystone before i came in here and that way i could i could have done this without this is terrifying i could have done this without having to worry about them dropping in on my head like i guess i could i could have just like panic way stoned you don't see me you're not nobody see me wait oh god oh god where oh god i heard someone drop down i hope it's not a brute who's discovered my presence do i have enough blocks for this i'm so worried i'm so worried and also once i mine the gold like am i gonna be in trouble okay everybody there no way no way that this could go terribly wrong they are upset they they haven't noticed what do we they're mad okay they're mad but they're not able to get in here okay unbreaking regular extra arrows always good all right all right couple ancient debris would have been nice if there was some netherride in there but also like i don't know how much we're really going to be using now the right as we go here let's put this on all right there they are mad they are definitely certainly mad i've just reactivated their anger everything is fine everything's good everything is good let's uh keep angering them a little bit yep keep angry em if that as long as i'm careful as long as i'm careful and i like patch up the spots as long as i don't let them get in then i can keep doing this it will be okay and then i can just create a little air a little hole i'm a little worried that this is open on top and someone's gonna drop in nope we're that city that's over over in that direction or if there's like an easy way to get there from here i'm running low on blocks uh let me let me you know what let's vein mine a little bit here easy bro i mean kind of decimating the pickaxe but easy blocks perfect so just work i'm gonna work around the s a little bit roundabout but whatever this is definitely the uh most efficient way to be doing this definitely the most efficient and least dangerous i realize there's probably also some other like treasure and stuff inside of here but uh yeah okay i'm can i get back on like i don't know solid ground over here maybe that'd be nice oh yeah dude let's freaking go oh i missed some quartz but that's fine must i do more must i bridge more i must i guess wow you guys see that speed bridging dude that was sick i've been practicing a lot in sky battle on mcc island that there's no um just fast forward it so it looks way cooler um but then definitely don't include me saying editor's note in the video because that would be embarrassing okay cool thanks hey okay we got yeah we do have one of those cities okay so this is a better nether city i believe wait is this toradite i think it is yeah there we go okay we got toradite and it did show that there was a toradite armor right which is a lot more expensive than just toradite good lord but the the helmet and the leggings are a lot better than than base iron and the armor toughness is pretty huge on it yeah that's that's gonna take some more and also the shadow bars require arlemite and rupees so okay i you know what for the effort that goes into that i feel like it should be more um you know give you more defense but what do i know this place is super cool we ran into this in better minecraft and they don't really have much loot in them but they look cool but you'd think for all the like opulence and stuff that they actually would have some chests that you know have like some stuff that you could loot but nah they just look cool if you're looking to get like cool building materials and stuff come to the right place but honestly they just they don't really hold a candle to my incredible building skills as you as you've seen back at home like i've been able to create some pretty pretty awesome stuff with my little cottage um hello i would like to how do i navigate this place can i go over here oh right okay they do have like full enchantment setups though which is i feel like last time i came in here i kind of already had an enchantment set up but now dude now yeah that's gonna be sick bro let's go and also this could be a good way to source a bit of uh yeah this could source some materials for us to just you know fancify our base a little bit if we're trying to we're trying to make things cooler every episode oh that's actually a couple of blocks though so i should grab that i could grab this like fire pot which would look cool i could grab the like pedestal and a couple of these lamps that i'm running out of inventory space to hold what what did i throw out i threw out a bit of gold that's fine yeah look at that cinesite lantern cinesite plate very opulent very opulent oh those are on top of the thing and then are these just double pedestal okay cool and then i can grab more of the pots and the plants yeah now see i'm thinking about how we can make our house just a beautiful thing with fireballs and walls and agave seeds and just super cool stuff all the way around here you have no idea just how cool our our house is gonna look another enchantment setup i don't think we need that i don't need to keep wrecking this place too much who the frick no that's the bad guy okay so that man's really thought of all places i would not run into you inside of the modded city in a modded biome called brimstone caverns but here we are okay i'm gonna go up into the crow's nest up here and i'm gonna i'm gonna lay some i'm gonna lay some fire also get some sick new materials to be able to put into our house like pig man statues and pedestals and more pedestals and walls and okay so wait oh he doesn't he's not okay i've missed oh my god he's just freaking insane how do you deal with this guy holy heck bro uh okay okay i'm being obliterated right now oh my god i have an idea though i'm gonna break out a window up here i'm pinned down gonna need cover fire oh my god dude got strategic cover i got strategy i got him oh crisis averted get wrecked i believe that thing is called the wildfire and it is wild and it fires a lot did we get anything from that it looks like we got some what is it molten shards what are those used for molten stones and also hex spider pumpkins and those are used for fancy bow sword armor that gives fire protection makes sense i feel like even fire protection is not gonna be terribly helpful against that do bro because you're just gonna still be taking like a machine gun arrow fire hey okay i see bro is that another treasure bastion over there um should i head over there maybe i should let's go in that direction we've also got like a temple structure i think that's from better nether again and we went into one when we were playing better minecraft i don't think it had anything crazy in it but i should still i'll try to hit it up is that blood gem just like inside of the bastion okay i mean that's kind of cool hi guys another yeah another little treasure set up huh okay surely this won't go really badly no if i just no brute no brute okay hold on let me see if i can just grab this really quick god that is a lot of really close ones here we go they mine boom so much gold let's go we're up to 34 blocks this is massive a mendy sword bro wait i can't remember if there's disenchantment or cursive binding not gonna not gonna fly bro not into it hey guys it's awkward but uh i'm far enough away that that you're a little uh stalemate here okay good let's keep it that way 37 blocks of gold is huge how much did i need again i need okay i need five toradites so i do need one more vein and uh yeah no it's let's just let's let's just pretend that i never did any of that and that we're all cool and everything is fine and we're all we're all friends here i mean come on we're all exactly we're all friends here okay where did i uh i think i came in from right over there so surely he won't mess up this lava parkour surely he wouldn't do that and we're good i'm i'm not gonna bother with all the other chests in here i want to continue exploring i'm pretty sure that that's a divine rpg mob i think that's a heck pig not actually heck pig but you get the idea so yeah we definitely can get some spawns i guess it maybe it's just like rarer that it happens inside of the modded bombs but it can happen all right i'm just trying to get over to uh an easy way to get onto the the temple it seems like it was kind of close to the shore here no big deal just a little lava lake building we've done it a few times now nope i don't want the skull not the sku i said no to the skull oh it's up there they're just like really loud as soon as the audio is within range to play they're just really super loud i think i think i thunk why is it so loud no i don't like it i don't like how loud you are that's not cool okay i'm in we're safe okay like i said i i don't remember it having like super great loot but we'll check ah did this have anything yeah it did okay okay it has some ancient debris in it how many how many does it have oh wait i should vein mine i didn't vein mine is there more wait are there more no it's two sometimes because i always think of vein mining just when it comes to ores and stuff like that i don't really think of ancient dibbery as like an ore anyway let's grab this i like how we just get blood gems that seem to spawn uh in structures it's like a weird place for or veins to spawn but i'm not complaining it's nice so now we actually have the uh we could make one whole netherite ingot if we wanted to oh you know what something kind of interesting that i noticed is on the mysterious clock i think it's the the shadow bar it said like formerly net something was like formerly netherright where was it and i'm just remembering like yeah okay hextone ingot oh yeah toradite chunk formerly netherright apparently divine rpg uh netherright they had it first and then it got brought into minecraft and then they were like oh you know what for 1.16 we're gonna need to rename that otherwise people are gonna be very confused uh i'm just trying to do a kind of keep within a radius of our portal um until we get away stone or something like that actually you know what i wonder if i do the strategy of super duper upping my render distance if it'll load more of the minimap and we can kind of do like a little sneaky peek ahead in various directions okay it does work but i'm also not seeing anything i should have done that when i was at all the other places in the other direction that was dumb wait i do think i actually have a fortress that's in view it's just hard to like realize it it's really faint but yeah i think this is one right here so we're like we're right if i just basically head that way which is solid wall uh that's inconvenient it really doesn't look like there's a convenient way around it okay i can this looks like a path right here so i just mine right here i think that i can end up there and my pickaxe is also oh yeah that's 100 oh that's yep that's yep we got a fortress no doubt no doubt okay well i'm here it's either above or below me but maybe the opening in front of me maybe i can i can just find it there oh oh hello we love mini maps journey maps zeros map it all works out wait hold on is it okay so this is a terrible fortress wait why is it like weird though why does it like end there before it actually reaches the main section that's kind of strange hopefully it looks cool on youtube but god there's a lot of light all over the place the exposure is just like my eyes can't see everything at the same time oh here we go oh here we go let's go and we're in so i did i did see on the minimap that there seemed to be um a blaze thing like in here that seems like it might be covered and it'd be really easy to farm blazes in there if i can just find it down this direction maybe hello [Music] oh either nice we got one let's go didn't pick up because my inventory is full we got a blaze ready is it down here no where the frick is this thing i guess worst case i can always just farm these dudes spawning out and about but yummy yeah i did okay i mean we're getting good luck so far oh another chest diamond horse armor sure why not i've got a backpack i always forget to toss these away when we're playing like the random drop series and stuff like that but here i have the storage and i'm also like i'm fairly convinced this place doesn't have a blaze spawner it's ridiculous what kind of fortress this size does not have a blaze spawner i'm either going to have to like just wait until enough spawn naturally or there's another nether fortress that's all the way over here so that's convenience like it's that is not great terrain to get there it doesn't look like um oh god i don't know what to do oh okay we got a couple more we got a couple more i mean if we get if we keep getting if we keep getting some lucky mods folder moments then you know i might be able to make this happen come on oh he didn't drop it no no please you need to you need to come on let's keep my luck going keep my lucky streak up they've ended my lucky streak oh for two oh my wait wait wait wait wait wait this just kidding there is one i knew we couldn't have okay this is gigantic there's too many and they've all spawned they were like thank goodness you've finally come to save us guys uh let me just get a few of those before i retreat we're good i should have i should have traded with the i should oh my god there's more spotting i should have traded with the pigs first there is another oh boy oh boy it's he's behind is he behind it just sounded like he was behind there's too many who chill spotter holy heck there's no way that i die here right got it got it oh my god dude i'm gonna be a level 30. oh my lord dude there's so many calm down oh my god bro actually no we're good we're good slightly less slightly less and you're firing at the same time synchronized shots always good perfect we're good okay what are we up to five we got this three why they're spotting so many at once easy easy easy easy got you done there we go up to six come on let's keep it rolling eight let's get out freak heck got it let's go okay health is low i'll do it i mean while we're here it's a little bit of a track to get back until i get a waste done which i'll do eventually dude we're up to level 30 i could straight up do a level 30 enchant but it's like what do i do it on do i want to save it for some good divine rpg stuff or do i want to just do it on like i don't know some diamond or something right off the bat there we go we got it all right bro that's 10. so all we got to do just trade with some pigs and pretty much be good to go i i feel like they're a decent amount of pigs right around our portal area so you just run on back and i'll tell you there are not a lot of pigs around here for some reason ow god every be ages and this is like okay uh we'll wait for a little bit longer but there we go okay we got a lot of fire resist pots as well in here so that's pretty cool also my middle mouse is working to organize things now so that's pretty cool hey i'll let him i'll let him trade out just in case just okay you're leaving so that's fine okay 15. it's gonna be enough we're not gonna go through three we would never have three eye vendors shatter on us on the way to the the stronghold never all right well that's kind of mission accomplished for now and another again i think our priority should probably be am i up wait where is my portal i think we want to just uh head to the end focus on elytra's and then that'll oh i hate you so much that'll allow us to uh handle the twilight dimensions a bit better plus you know some of the gear that we can get inside the end cities and stuff like that will be kind of nice ah all right we did it we saw some cool stuff double treasure bastions almost thought we weren't gonna get the blaze spawner thank goodness for mini maps by the way and i think that's where we'll leave it off for this episode productive trip into the nether i think and um
