hi guys welcome back to the channel today we are back on pentatonix and one of the most requested videos from people on the channel is this 90s dance medley from pentatonix i know obviously a medley is is a load a variation of loads of different songs now in the 90s i was uh very very young uh going out getting drunk heard a lot of dance music that was going on in the clubs so you know chances are i'm going to know a lot of these songs so i can relate but uh i'm really interested to see how pentatonix do dance songs because obviously it's a fast beat it's like you know a lot of them is like upbeat really fast so you know kevin's got to be right on his beatboxing and whatever but i'm sure he will be because this this video's got like eight million views and you know it's not it's not they're not crap if there's gonna get eight million views is it you know what i mean they're gonna they're gonna be able to nail this i am sure so but i like to say i'm dying to see it anyway before what this is all about everybody has been saying do the 90s dance medley i will do it not into dance music anymore i wasn't really into it in the 90s that much but sometimes we kill when he was out used on quite a lot of memes and stuff as well these guys are killing it and it's obviously a new one because they've got um the new singer what's his name again now matt is his name he's matt isn't it his new singer yeah and like kevin's on board on point with his um beatboxing straight away and the you know everyone's just come together and do this a real justice especially mitch here doing the like the ladies voice within the uh what is love i'd expected christy to do it but you know this guy can go high as well so you know like i say they cannot we can all mix and match doing different beats it sounds like the original song beat it's really really cool that did the uh better off alone there well like this song was massive when i was going to the nightclub so it was all i heard it nearly every time i went out on a weekend so yeah i got on board that straight away these guys are awesome and she sounds like her as well oh my god cnc music battery wow this is la that's like from 1990 that's one of the very first songs um cnc music factory everybody does now that's that was a massive massive hit i think it was 1990 was it i was a little bit late it might be like 1992 but it was definitely early 90s uh crazy crazy song these guys nailing every single one of them loving it [Music] okay i know this [Music] this is such a different side of pentatonix that i'm used to i'm used to reading it all like uh smooth and um like angelic and everything like that but this is just proving that they can do cross genres they can go straight into all this um proper fast dance music and and you know it actually sounds like the dance music in the background without what they're doing with the voices it's absolutely incredible man this is cool this is cool cool kill and it's taking me back from when i used to nightclubs when i was younger and idiots and getting drunk every weekend and being sick the next day enough of that let's go [Music] oh god [Music] oh this is um [Music] oh that was in 1999 this song was massive at the time and we remixed this song within the class you know to do remixes and stuff and it was it just takes me back to so many different times early on in my they all put the uh the whatever the the vocal pitch bending thing is in the in the voice as well it was started really authentic with how they did it these guys are exceptional you know what i mean like i say when i'm used to wearing all these other songs these these like angelic ones like amazing grace and stuff like hallelujah and they come and they start banging out cher and banging out like uh 90s dance songs and blue dabba d and all that it's like and they're just absolutely freaking nailing it with everything in they got other bases right they've got all the uh drums right they've got the the sounds of the synthesizers down to a tee and obviously the singing is exceptional as i expected let's go [Music] song could not stand this song one iota is it is it is it gypsy woman is it i think it's called gypsy woman i could not stand this song back in the day these are going to do a great job of it but i couldn't stand this song [Music] finally [Music] [Applause] oh man that was absolutely brilliant that was uh it took me back to being uh like like a teenager and going to the pubs and going getting drunk and then college and stuff of the blue david d and stuff what a great great bunch of renditions that was and again um pentatonix just showing that they can do what they can and what they can with their voices to cross genre they can do anything these guys i am sure of
