Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
tl;dw - 0-80% in ~24 min. 40-80% in <14 min. and was well past 100kW over 80%. Hot damn.
If getting real world 250mi range then this is a complete game changer and basically nixes any road trip range anxiety (assuming there are suitable L3 chargers available....)
Too bad won't see this in real numbers in the US any time soon it seems....
I Like how it revs back from 30kw to 190kw at 65% Soc.
Comments on the video were saying H/K do some interesting charging curve tricks to avoid lithium plating issues internally as well as a diagnostic check at 80%, which might explain some of the drops in charging curve.
I love how this car and the other e-GMPs are shaping up. The EV6 GT is the first vehicle that has caused my eyes to wander from my I-Pace, but I'm not sure I'd be able to get over our local Kia dealership experience.
Nice but at 58k most people canβt afford it
Bit off topic: Heard a Hyundai radio add about the ioniq 5 today. Promoted with "charge enough for 100km driving in just 5mins thanks to its 800V system. The new ioniq 5 starting at 39.9kβ¬"
TWENTY THREE MINUTES LONG?! Jesus ffs
Not bad, seems pretty on par with Teslaβs model 3 and model Y (albeit the Y charges slower but itβs charging more miles so about the same per capita). Depends on if you have a charger that can support this speed near you, but if so, itβs pretty similar to Teslaβs more similarly priced models. Glad to see EVβs are consistently charging faster and faster.
Could there have been some grid related issues for charge rate?
