but while they came on my show earlier this week as well he said I'm a whip as you know what and then we're gonna go party that's exactly what he said and he meets it and I have no doubt that he means if you're 40 and over 39 Kos you mean what you said that he'll take Tyson Fury out except for eighth round [Applause] Tyson Fury is the best in the world this is why he's undefeated even if it goes past six rounds you never feel comfortable [Applause] [Music] these Orthodox or he's South Paul he's against the ropes he's throwing Jabs he's making you chase him these may feel uncomfortable so you never get into that kind of Trance Tyson Fury finishes him in under 10. I don't know if Dyson Fury after eight rounds can avoid this is where he has to somehow find a way to survive like I said if I can't be the best I'm going to be second place for 30. there's no no place for me and what could be anything other than number one so that's what I gotta do I gotta beat this man to be the best of his power in the first round the same power in the tenth round and eleventh round it means one [Applause] Deontay Wilder looking for all the world like he's pulling another upside there's a right right [Applause] all right guys [Applause] has there ever been a doubt in your mind where you think I'm not going to get up now because if I open my eyes I know I can get up [Music] world is celebrating like it's over not the Gypsy King yes [Applause] [Applause] [Music] is over there dancing and all of a sudden he looks and can't believe Tyson's Fury got up from that right hand you don't see a guy who's picking time off who's had drug problems all this stuff that he's the guy who boxes like that and fury the world heavyweight title to 113. for the Bulls a win would be a championship for Michael it would mean the cementing of his legacy inside they've already begun the chant of beat the Bulls Jordan for three got it what you do has to transcend the generations in order to retain your place as the goat playoffs Jordan pulls up like we've never seen before six titles six finals MVPs that mean it was all about you each series you were the mismatch he's still Michael Jordan whatever he has lost through fatigue through age through whatever has only brought him he still leads the field and he became the most dangerous man alive foreign Stockton a three it's there those two three-peats that Jordan has those are hard those are hard to compare anything to none of us ever saw what he was going to do if we thought he was going to be great Michael working on Russell's brings them to within one my Jordan with 45 points six NBA Finals MVPs without ever allowing the game seven [Applause] Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player I've ever seen better than LeBron better than told me better than everyone [Applause] Chicago would believe [Music] [Applause] [Music] have won their sixth NBA championship and it's their second three-piece without a doubt the greatest basketball player of all time and he still is crown signs to fight in the h series and he'll face Trevor berbick the WBC Title holder probably sometime this fun if Tyson should beat burbik he would become the youngest man in history ever to win the heavyweight championship was the last president to fight Ali and he heard Ali very bad when you fought him with any Revenge 100 yes no doubt about it that's what I can't wait to get help him and Larry Holmes the fight brought out all the a-listers and Tony Danza I laugh at Tony Danza and I'm super creepy Rob Lowe in the morning I'm making waffles [Applause] so now the moment of truth is not far off this will be the WBC heavyweight championship of the world he could go into the record books tonight if he can capture the title from the reigning champ Trevor Burbank This is what Mike Tyson framed his whole life for High School this is what customado and Jimmy Jacobs trained this man for I believe he will be the youngest heavyweight champion of all time and remains dedicated interested and without any distractions I believe that eventually you'll go down in history as the queen February and if there was no problem you'll be chance there is electricity in the crowd because at this particular point I was throwing all right what can I say hydrogen bombs every punches with murderous intentions you talk about being on the stage on a moment and capturing that moment position [Applause] this is round two the WBC heavyweight championship of the world forever perfect and Mike Tyson that was the coming out that was the start going on Broadway and say I am a star look at me standing eight pound as he steps right up the council and absolutely destroyed him he knocked him all over the ring it was over in two rounds and at that time you thought this guy is going to be the champion for a decade or more Tyson sees the title in spectacular fashion his life may be shut that incredible Mike is a boy Prodigy he's 20 years old he is quite an incredible force in the heavyweight division but he's just a boy [Music] and a devastating second round number Mike Tyson age 20 became the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history [Applause] manages Corner men and Friends ran to congratulator Tyson kissed Jim Jacobs in there at 20 he was the youngest heavyweight champion in history this will never happen the idea that it'll live forever the record I think will never be broken and it's what I can say he probably up there right now saying you did a lot of mistakes you did a lot of mistakes I said I'm the greatest heavyweight of all times but pound for pound I still say Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest of all time there was once a boxer who danced in the ring boxer called Sugar Ray Robinson Robinson was as close to perfect as any boxer in history when he won the world middleweight middleweight fighter pound for pound whoever lived that man was beautiful time and speed reflexes rhythms body everything was beautiful the guy had over 200 fights amazing speed he falls for 25 years uncanny timing and ferocious punching power 109 of these by knockouts Vince Carter is widely recognized as the greatest dunker ever half man half amazing and what would become our googly the greatest dunk contest performance ever this guy was doing stuff back in the day these kids still can't do to this day I really thought the top was going to come off of the building I have never seen that before here is the man that this crowd wants to see this is what everybody's been waiting for it's the climax of the night and we're going to see what Vince Carter can really do all right here is Vince Carter with his front I was in another world I felt like Mario just powered up to Super Mario [Applause] this building just exploded you dunk it and put your arm greatest dunker ever was Vince Carter Vince Carter I might have to go with Vince Carter also over Michael that was a dream of mine a lifelong dream being in the dunk contest was a lifelong dream I wasn't afraid to fail [Applause] Ure oh my goodness gracious it is over you remember the reactions of Shadow kg web I mean you talk about guys who've seen dunk contests for sure seeing you don't it was just different surprising absolutely no one Vince Carter won boycott wasn't meant to compete in the Grand Prix he was an alternate and was called to replace the number one ring TIE fighter it's this green Rookie's first taste of fighting was pitted against John Wayne Parr in his first match it was the chance of a lifetime for the 21 year old kid no one gave him a shot he was just lucky to be there [Music] poured out monthly using that ticket Franken off the elite leg and digging the balls of the feet into the midsection a very painful technique [Music] [Applause] who possesses some of the hardest leg kicks and rip kicks in the world it was a close match look how one narrowly on points and advanced to the next round [Applause] and make an upset here this is gonna catapultima right up the top of the ladder in the world rankings it's going to be highly unlikely takayuki was the second best Japanese kickboxer of the time and the tremendous odds favor foreign but only one strike takayuki deliberately went for a second strike a dirty move buakao was rightfully upset and responded how any proper Legend would by ragdolling takayuki over and over that is going to be certainly a big test for bukao foreign [Applause] [Music] a blistering knee to the face sent the crowd into a frenzy [Applause] the Chiefs secured the top seed in the AFC the homes routinely makes the impossible look routine and he did it again when he did this it's just oh my goodness diving for the pylon touchdown Kansas City you gotta remember if you want to know how good Allen Iverson is look at the team he took to the Championships that says it all yeah if you want to know how great he was for the defending NBA champion Lakers they'll face the NBA's final player in a 44-point game he not only took the team to the finals it was maybe the worst team ever to go to the final he drives it and gets Kobe back on his heel not only that but with the worst teammates that one supercharger took to the finals he beat one of the greatest postseason teams of all time the Shaq Kobe Lakers okay who suffered their only postseason loss to Iverson Robert Horry backs to three-point General in the finals Iverson ran into a dominant Lakers team a Lakers team that hadn't lost a single game in the playoffs and the Sixers lead by 12. it was a foregone conclusion that the scrappy 76ers were about to get cheat clapped but Iverson had other ideas moment that would have been it still is Infamous but if social media was back then when you hit the jumper on tilu and stepped over Iverson it was one of the most disrespectful things any of us that ever seen in our basketball court seven straight points by Iverson looked like he was dead [Music] defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in Iverson scored 48 points it was the Lakers loan defeat of the entire playoffs they hear you pull a little baseball cap on war across the top you knew and I think Thomas earns nothing it was about war with with a great fights I mean some of the greatest fights of all time if not the greatest some people still argue the home is fine by The mid-1980s Marvelous Marvin Hagler had taken on all comers after 11 title defenses over five years he stood alone it was no secret each man had little love for the other this fight was everything for both of their Legacies two Warriors of historic Renown well it's been voted certainly the greatest War you know he was so disciplined that was the thing that I always got out of watching him wasn't that he was so wild he was so mentally strong he had an iron chin and his discipline was impeccable 27 for 36. [Applause] two yards 334 from just his second season starting Tom Brady led the league in touchdown passes that's right the QB haters often try to say was just a game manager at the start of his career led the entire league in touchdowns in just his second season starting more than Manning Farve or even 2002's MVP Rich Gannon Charlie was his offensive coordinator knows he's got a quarterback in Tom Brady goodness we all know the kind of players this guy can do one playing one first down and one touchdown at a time 2002 would be the only season Brady would ever miss the playoffs the season did however provide one of my favorite pissed off Tom Brady moments and the reason I like it is that lack of kind of fire and emotion maybe that's the jumper cables on the lips that might get this this group a little more excited psycho Tom as he's become known why incite this guy anymore I mean that's just he feeds off of any and every little thing that he can grab a personal photo unnecessary roughness number 12 offense 15-yard penalties it will be First and Ten throughout his career when Tom Brady gets angry typically doesn't go well for the other guys [Applause] the first down sliding down to about the 14-yard line and they're coming out here comes your locker here goes the pitch es and a patriot that is the Poise of the winner like Tom Brady and what he brings to your football team and they're going for two [Applause] that's like constant and it goes right erlacker blew the two-point attempt up look at the Tackle by Brian Erlanger after using all three timeouts the Pats got the ball back with just under two minutes no timeouts for New England lady 32 at 48 two touchdowns one interception First and Ten great time it is fourth and third I gotta get inside the 28. on Fourth and three Brady broke out what would become his version of the crane kick which for non- Karate Kid fans is an unblockable attack the quarterback sneak ERS I'm out by Chicago and they now have two left Patriots took over Throne 44 with 150 left in the fourth quarter in the final 30 seconds Brady went for the kill shot [Applause] you have the ball yes one drag six [Applause] how many chances can you give a world champion Chicago found out exactly how many one too many foreign [Music] made the Chicago Bears regret they ever gave him those extra chances as he always better than any other quarterback in the history of the game he led a game-winning drive I'm gonna put it in here let's see if they go for three or two here Thomas a three-pointers win an assassin personified that had that Killer Instinct a Killer Instinct that he came into the league with he has the ability to take control of the game down to 12 seconds you see the clock now has been inserted in your screen George Jordan driving he'll go for it that's it of this guy Michael Jordan the rookie I'm out of adjectives already I'm gonna tell my kids about this and this year Well to win the unflappable unshakable confidence he got it Here Comes Indiana burn Fleming too second one second he didn't get it off in time the Bulls have won the ball game the balls have won the ball game Michael Jordan you talk about pressure since he arrived at the stadium which used to be two-thirds empty has been sold out every game just substitute to Nick's right there it could be Jordan laws Lakers Jordan laws Celtics and everything else everywhere you go you're you're getting this kind of thing last night your first appearance of the garden Michael Jordan puts on a show and he has shot to start him already although still in his first month as a professional Point Blank I never seen him by play like he plays damn I'm creep tried to get it away but broken up by daily and gets it away to Jordan no time for Mr Jordan he was the first to wear the number 23. and the young Madonna in the crowd you know he had the X Factor there was a a James Dean A Lone Ranger quality to Michael Jordan can he fly or what [Applause] faster outside most players really don't have to worry about doing it up on the board and trying to go one-on-one he lost the ball Jeffrey Jordan greatest basketball player he made me want to be an NBA basketball player [Applause] we all know that Michael Jordan was the greatest basketball player ever nobody that I've seen had the type of mental toughness that Michael Jordan 35 seconds left [Applause] and on the court it was Perfection the way he wore his uniform the sock slope the sneakers sent people into a frenzy was the he was the first to do so many things and Nike is coming out with a clothing line called Air Jordan oh yes his own shoe they call it Air Jordan it's as hot as a Cabbage Patch doll right now the endorsements are fast and furious Jordan's getting rich in Chicago's salary is reportedly more than half a million dollars a year without McDonald's for eight hundred thousand dollars North Carolina to the height of Superstar he doesn't wear one white rug he wears strange looking sneakers they Soares through the air the NBA says Jordan is a key reason overall League attendance is up more than seven percent Mark of Michael Jordan asked for in less than a year he's been named a Collegiate player of the year he's won an Olympic gold medal starting to get into Captain Marvel again well he's got him standing in the aisles already got the NBA on fire and he's been picked to start in Sunday's All-Star gameonte Dave is still a young fighter but he's won at least some form of a world title at three different weights 130 135 and 140. ladies and gentlemen we welcome you to Staples Center in the boxing World Davis has juice and he's wandered to La where a star-studded crowd has congregated on a Sunday night at the Staples Center and a nice left offer cup Cruz battled the entire fight absorbing Tank's best shots that punch could be foreshadowing for the future in this fight a great work and these two tattooing each other Cruz put on a display of heart straight left upstairs scores for Davis [Music] [Applause] tank won the decision handling but his KO streak was ended Javonte tank Davis overcoming and still The Undefeated [Applause] we are back here in Brooklyn New York a record sellout crowd on hand here at the Barclays Center as we approach our main event of the evening against Romero tank returned to his knockout waves and here we go round one 18 970 people on hand a record-setting crowd at Barclays Center Jefferson [Music] [Applause] Georgia come on [Applause] tank would fight Hector Garcia in a final tune-up for the super fight with Ryan Garcia no relation ship for eight rounds tanks smashed Garcia dropping the hammer Garcia's knees buckled they're both Champions but in this case Garcia is the Challenger [Music] he survived the round but the fight was stopped by his corner [Applause] [Music] Kieran and Brookman this is going to be one hell of a fight Saint Pierre unbelievable athlete strong guy and well-rounded fighter Saint Pierre decided MMA was the future when he watched Royce Grayson conquer UFC one and he's laid into this guy like nobody's [ __ ] probably starting to line some huge shots his arm is locked out that is it Saint Pierre wins with a beautiful armbar he needed to train in Muay Thai while simultaneously training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but there was nowhere to receive this type of training in Canada at the time he was looking at the garbage man when he first came and spoke almost no English so GSP traveled seven and a half hours almost daily from Montreal to New York so I'm just being incredibly impressed by the sacrifices he was making [Music] he began taking The Beginner's class at age 18 he entered the Canadian Pro fight circuit and I also learned that he was had very little money he lived in a flop house while working as a garbage man and training full-time [Music] [Applause] yeah and uh you really uh you you really knows the ground game like nobody's business that was a beautiful fast by Saint Pierre now it was in side control watch him Ragdoll this guy's head against the canvas over and over [Music] here [Music] [Applause] the Portland Trailblazers versus the Los Angeles Lakers down one game just one game now game seven [Music] this afternoon it's put up for shut up yet they have lost three times this year once in a regular season and twice in this series [Applause] on their home floor [Music] the greatest Duo to me Shaq and Kobe those were co-stars they needed each other to be as great as they were the first thing that the Lakers have to realize is they've got 12 minutes to play with only a 13 point game not anymore Steve Smith hits on the run and it's 15. I don't think you know I should have appreciated it more and down emphatically [Applause] the fight for everything the offense now Kobe lead but I think now both of them look back fondly and miss a little bit of what they did have three time the Lakers have two [Music] [Applause] kill on me makes it a six-point difference with 41 of 3 10 seconds left after a brilliant Series against the Blazers Jack and Kobe made their first Finals appearance together Lodge can't push him in the back looking for Shaq there's no way you're stopping him when he's five ten feet away from the basket he's too strong and too good as he gives it to Miller Reggie with a runnable Handler the game plan is crazy because rest in peace Kobe the game plan always started with Shaq because he was so dominant at that time Shaquille O'Neal signs of just overpowering the Pacers in the paint so even though Kobe was dominant it was all about hey how do we stop Shaq what do we do on his rolls his deep post UPS where's the double team coming from that in addition as well waved the white flag of surrender he's shawshack Redemption because Shaq was one of those guys that once he established position down low there was literally nothing you could do now when these guys played together for the magic it was an all-time performance from Shaq Reggie defending dominant on both ends of the Court Colby Fox [Applause] across the foul averaging better than 36 points per game and he has now moved in front of a Team Elijah won most points in a Four game series [Music] in the Lakers three-piece there was no way that shot was going to see the rim he dominated the NBA Finals like no one besides Michael Jordan ever had [Applause] fire [Applause] the dynamic duo of Shaq and Kobe had captured their first title history the same person has won the MVP of the regular season the MVP of the All-Star game and the MVP of the finals Shaquille O'Neal did it by averaging 38 points and 16 rebounds first check the man most dominant player in the world if both Stars being relatively young their future was bright yeah one that really seemed to affect him the most was when he won his third world title because at that point he became the first Mexican ever in the world to be able to say that he has won three World title the uh the interesting thing about Julio Chavez was he is a three-time world champion first one at 130 pounds moved up and won two of the versions of the 135 pound lightweight title an unbelievable record the best record in boxing today 61-0 with 50 Knockouts is perhaps the greatest most revered athlete in the history of Mexico Julio Cesar the boxing world was still in shock from Mike Tyson's stunning loss to Buster Douglas just one month before so what next the boxing world's attention turned to a battle between two undefeated Champions two great Fighters same way class both in their Prime boy it had everything both are 140 pound Champions Chavez WBC super lightweight Titleist is regarded by many as the best fighter in the world it's so appetizing good because Chavez is one of the toughest Fighters you'll ever see and Taylor is given a good chance to end his 10-year winning streak in front of a raucous crown fight everything everyone hoped to see one of the longest unbeaten streaks at the beginning of a career in the entire history of the sports in the early rounds Taylor jumped out to a fast lead customarily Chavez does not throw a lot of punches in round one Taylor with a left Taylor using his hand speed to land a little bit more frequently Chavez scored with a left hook he was quicker than Chavez and was out Landing him three to one she was losing most of the rounds they were fantastic rounds but he was losing them because he was Landing two to one but at the same time I saw Julius Caesar Chavez Landing these hard punches but what Chavez was landing on neldrick mildrick had to carry those punches around with him till the end of the fight like like luggage but outscoring Chavez was one thing out damaging him was another and Thomas is throwing over the top Taylor now [Applause] as the fight went on the lead White blood again [Applause] Chavez is coming on watch the legs of Taylor they all seem to be too steady here right hand leads doing the damage for Chavez now a solid left-hand side and the crowd begins to heat up as Julio Cesar Chavez turns up the pressure right now the 66 and go record which was such a landmark in the history of the sport is in serious Jeopardy two minutes left in Julio Cesar Chavez his historic unbeaten streak he doesn't have a lot left Larry you've got to go for this route throw your punches Taylor was battered and beaten but if he could survive one more round he'd have beaten Julio Cesar Chavez 101 Melvin Taylor I think he's on his way to a unanimous decision if you're a fight fan get ready for three minutes of high drama now as a desperate and determined Julio Cesar Chavez tries to take out a fading and battered meldrick Taylor who has completely dominated him through most of the fight for Chavez simple knock Taylor out or lose the fight [Applause] if he gets up he probably wins the fight I can't believe it unbelievable Richard Steele five seconds left I cannot believe they stopped that fight the comeback Victory sent the crowd into a frenzy the official time will be 258 of the 12th round he knocked him out with two seconds left this fight turned Chavez into a heroic almost legendary figure one of the most memorable fights in 30 years of boxing on HBO you did 81 fights in kickboxing I think well 75 and 4 worth 29 knockouts thank you it's like I love the cheat code in the game and you just hit god mode the legend of the last style that was about to be born so I want King of the Ring three times twice I Cruiserweight and then heavyweight which is 100k foreign ERS do not make a lot of money until they're at the top level yeah 28k fight kickboxing honed Israel's most powerful MMA tour is striking is 75 wins forged a unique Style that was a king in the ring heavyweight tournament so that was my second fight that night guy he was a favorite I think to win but it was the way he won his fights that made him a must-see attraction [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so you decide to make the jump to MMA my striking style was never really suited for the generic kickboxing style so I always knew my style would be better suited for MMA and it's an MMA debut for experienced kickboxer Israel Edison and James Griffiths at a saying you're truly an international class kickboxer but it's a different world in the Shark Tank of MMA crowd as Pop yeah he's nervous that was a jumping knee and yeah [Applause] you've seen my highlights I I can press forward I'm knocking pull out with spectacular techniques MMA debut knockout two minutes into the first round and when I saw him walk out he was too intense I can smell the pheromones you know to start I can smell it off him I was like he's not he's not with it let's have a look what happens here [Applause] but you are an elite Striker on the feet you are a step ahead of everybody every five star Standing On My Feet [Applause] he just wants to be striking with him once he just created as much as possible wow he rattled off win after win ston his opponent went to the ground immediately and now we'll see what's going to happen so that plan's not going to work by the look of things well he takes advantage of it this time does Arizona all right [Music] doesn't seem to be able to find it here it can't take it mostly on the glove they came from pushing that kick over the top that's it it's been called off well the style Bend up the black dragon the ones who are include up who haven't done their researches check my resume they like oh he's got some kickboxing he's just gonna be another guy thank you round one yeah like a kickboxer who shows up in MMA and he's gonna get taken down strangled what not hey it's interesting because Israel fights differently as a mixed martial arts fighter than he did as a kickboxer returns to his stand selection and he almost fights like he's in a karate movie sometimes building up an undefeated record of 11-0 two minutes into the first round oh what an entertainer from the kickboxer I'm a giant fan of him oh my everything about us could be a huge huge Superstar globally oh he will be I think his strikes are so clean first of all he's striking is some of the most intricate complex and creative striking I've ever seen he beats his opponents into submission quitting ground S I think we got the future [Music] you want to get at me get at me yesterday every day I'm getting better every fight exponentially I'm getting better [Applause] so uh with my striking so I heard this guy right I don't rush I chill you just if you have confidence the utmost confidence in your in your ability take your time you aim and fired foreign [Music] can you snap those kicks out in each fight you can watch I Progressive he's got to diversify his punches here he's moving okay oh [Music] Alvin's gonna move he's got to move here big crushing right velvet foreign after winning the middleweight title he made a bold promise let's realize I'm a world champion finally it's been a long time coming you know but uh within the next two or three years gonna turn this a into a u I promise watch me in Ali's absence two men had claimed to the title of heavyweight champ Jimmy Ellis and Joe Frazier both recognized by different bodies the fight would settle the matter of who was champ once and for all right we've had all the introductions to Bell for round one Jimmy Ellis in the white Ellis getting in a couple of laps Ellison was picked to win by at least half the writers attending the weigh-in extraordinary in view of what we've heard from Las Vegas Nevada he connected with his signature left hook [Applause] left by Frasier Ellis holding on Ellis definitely hurt against the ropes okay right there [Applause] he is beaten Jimmy Ellis is going to try to get up he is one to a frazzle he is a game game young man [Applause] [Music] [Applause] over it is over a knockout in the fourth round he was now the Undisputed heavyweight champion of the World Heavyweight Champion Joe Frazier has never lost as a pro 22 of his 25 victories have come by a knockout George Foreman had annihilated everyone that stepped in the ring with him I had beaten everybody at Muhammad Ali had lost the Challenger for the heavyweight title big George Foreman The Undefeated so I thought I was the toughest thing ever invented he chose the big strong young improvious to pain heavyweight if he puts you you know if he puts you six feet deep ultimately George Foreman didn't have a problem with that he was that vicious one punch of mine was was equal to 20 of any other Evolution whatever he is foreign ER who had dropped Muhammad Ali's the most menacing heavyweight of all time it would be George Foreman I was going to be the best heavyweight that ever existed he is with Ken Norton and the reason for that of course is that he doesn't like George Foreman one bed do you really believe Ali that here man yeah the man won 24 rounds with me broke my jaw in the first round I was in shape of soccer fight in those days he was a bully around and we're afraid of him Foreman had really brutalized the people who trained him and they were terrified of him the hell he gave me as fast as I'm as awkward as I am I couldn't whoop Ken Norton I had beaten best in Joe Frazier no doubt about it I have beaten the best people had something to say about that I said you know what I'm gonna kill one of these fellas then they'll shut up and it looks like Norton has really been staggered performance was a guy who destroyed Frasier destroyed Kenny noise whipped by Kenny Nord by not Kenny not easily once again Muhammad Ali found himself in great demand the WBC and the WBA mandated the fight the public certainly wanted it and the media clamored for it I think George Foreman will knock Muhammad Ali out and it'll end Muhammad Ali's career all the boxes were scared handlers were scared the only person that didn't appear scared or Foreman was Ali that I'm still the fastest the prettiest the most classiest the most scientific the greatest fighter of all time everybody was scared but Muhammad Ali himself [Applause] have you fought many guys who were Talkers in the ringing no one never get a chance to talk much by the time you get to know fellas all alone as for the fight itself discussion centered not on who would win but on how much punishment Foreman would dish out time may have come say goodbye to Muhammad Ali and now we understand that George Foreman is about to make his way to the ring because because very honestly I don't think he can be judged for me Cosell was convinced that Ali is washed up [Applause] this guy is the closest thing to a human monster I'd ever seen before he was certainly the scariest boxer look at this now as they stare at Muhammad Ali beginning to talk to George Foreman they're really putting the stare on each other I looked him in the eye in the past four years Beyond Two Rounds in any fight [Music] he knew that the one weakness in this monster was thought of as unbeatable was his stamina the first round all of us yeah [Applause] and Ollie totally got into the guy's head and he didn't even realize it foreign [Music] this time he did it with character he said hey I'm going to weather this phone the Rope adults that was something that was invented by Muhammad Ali that night I say I don't understand those tactics Joe staying on the ropes and letting him hit it just shows you the power of intellect and intelligence and how that can compete against anything [Applause] big powerful Giant in the ring with Muhammad I mean The Knockout on it he stood up to me performance setting up ahead [Applause] so young so strong not supposed to do it leaning up against the ropes four punches downstairs I had him beat I really did and really thought they had him beat up in the body they had them tired continues to talk continue against George Foreman who does away with his opponents one after another in less than three years George not going that type of business a long time he was treading in water you know never been in before this is the furthest that George Foreman has gone in a fight since 1972. this is the right hand Ali is definitely confused again missing the shots that he missed it drained space he does look tired nobody knew the strength of Muhammad Ali he was man landling just like Archie said grabbing him and he emptied the guy's tank I was afraid he was going to get killed by a George Foreman that many of our young viewers don't know timing all right unbelievable I thought he was hurt I thought his body was hurt and he came back he hit form with everything and he winked at me no doubt about it he went right over here you know the guy really was the People's Choice and he was a people's choice because he loved them [Applause] yes I'd hate to predict any fight but my goodness those people who said Foreman would win in a Flash have certainly been proved wrong and about this something was around he asked me that all you got George that was like a night after a while even the dumbest of us looked up there and said you know what he's winning thank you [Music] [Applause] I'm the greatest of all time heavyweight whoever lives I am the greatest Leonard knew what knocking out the famed hands of stone would do for his reputation I think that um after this particular fight the Press will realize that the guys if they say Sugar Ray can't deal with or this guy's too strong for Sugar Ray Sugar Ray can't punch sugar has not been in the ring with anyone that is a legitimate fighter these statements I will be able to silence completely once and for all and so the super fight between Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran was set Sugar Ray thought he was facing a big name on the downside of his career [Applause] thought wrong we were watching the news [Music] you gave Durant a chance never broke and I saw two men eyes and when's physical expression changed to a mean and he said I'm gonna beat living as Out of Heaven Duran was training like he happens in a year [Music] [Applause] [Music] Leonard was the fastest hands of the boxing game is listed as the nine to five favorite among the oddsmakers thank you truly motivated by a real challenge hands of stone what's red Sugar Ray Leonard fights with a flare and Roberto Duran who fights with a fury swear off tomorrow night at Montreal for the WBC Welterweight Title in Panama the entire country watched their hero it would be a historic Clash most of the world believed Iran would be outmatched against Sugar Ray and welterweight talk to Fighters that have fought him and everyone underestimates them they think they can win until they're in the ring with them Chugga Ray Leonard Leonard's the challenge of rap that Roberto Duran in his dressing room intense his approached this fight with an almost religious purple [Applause] Against The Undefeated ever popular Ray Leonard meet some from Pillar To Post [Applause] away he got beat by Roberto Duran who was a lightweight hands of stone that defeated the previously undefeated Sugar Ray Leonard to become the welterweight champion of the world you champ signed autographs talked to friends in Midtown Manhattan Roberto Duran hero and giant killer and we're foreign Fighters were considered soft enough a couple of months before in Traverse he was a legend who had already fought Deckers earlier in Decker's career foreign fighter KO Deckers a Coban had thought going into this fight that he was the man who had Decker's number he had stopped him before in a previous meeting koban had never lost to a foreign fighter so no one expected the rematch would be any different appears to be a top Decker stormed forward and connected in the first round to win in Thailand a foreign fighter must score a knockout there was no chance on winning a decision on foreign soils foreign [Applause] [Music] world champion and earned him the respect of the Thai people it was Ramon's finest Hour his own admission a huge victory in Thailand against the champion he was voted fighter of the year in Thailand in 1992. so did boxing at that point in time seem easy to use Boston what is to me thank you [Applause] there was a time in your career when you were at your peace that was so different than anyone else's very few Jabs you would throw a lead hook [Applause] quickly became a Pensacola [Applause] a series of spectacular Knockouts made Jones is one of the Sport's biggest stars [Applause] [Music] now before you get back the right took it here too impossible almost drawing huge crowds and rabbit fans Roy Jones Jr was universally considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world okay now let's go to the biggest punch you ever delivered who was it was in uh Reno Nevada oh boy very first round holy [Music] yeah look at that oh my God oh my God and I'll tell you what for art Serato that was a devastating right hand to get hit they won 14 consecutive games at home the 2014-2015 Warriors would go 67 and 15. poker couldn't get it [Applause] obliterating opponents and launching a three-point revolution in the NBA who got it into your MVP friend nothing against James Harden but Steph Curry to me to get my vote Curry secured his first League MVP he is your 2016 Kia Most Valuable Player Steph Curry the playoffs felt like a formality as stuff in the Warriors ran rough shot over the competition they're not dead yet two-point game [Applause] got it short offensive rebounds thank you sorry game shut up [Music] after Conquering the West Steph headed to his first NBA Finals where he'd square off with LeBron James [Music] Michael never shot like this handle the ball even close to this pops it up Warriors by one in the series tied up once again as both teams just two wins away from an NBA championship we're talking about not just making the amount of three-pointers you've made but how he's making shots with as a broadcaster watching it for you when did you go holy crap this could be transformative exclamation point foreign [Applause] now has the most career playoff games with five made threes and he just needed 30 career playoff games to do that he took Kobe 220.15 NBA champions their first title in 40 years where does he rank on your list of best shooters ever it's easy for me to say that he's the best that I've ever seen shoot this guy man you know this debate about the greatest shooter and I think that's pretty much in the bag [Applause] George you've thrilled us you've been great you've inspired us you've entertained us but now please isn't it time to go back to the old fishing hole before you seriously get hurt few days days after Michael Moore beat a van the Holyfield and I got a call from George I'm going to say George you can't kid me you want to fight Michael Moore and he said more than anything else in the world when Michael Moore defeated Holyfield to become the new Champion George Foreman at age 45 would get one final shot I knew what Teddy told me like this was a he's a big con and I just look at him like go give me a sandwich and sit down you're so fake featuring The Clown King of the sport the Larger than Life George Foreman well there are a lot of Skeptics out there who think that George now is more King Khan than King Kong but George hasn't earned this a championship shot as a fighter he hasn't fought in a year and a half and then that inauspicious occasion he lost to Tommy Morrison with the fighters he's fighting he's going to have to punch and punch and try to Club him and just keep beating him but I don't think that's going to happen so you see no chance that George can win the fight very little very little Foreman looked to become the oldest champion in boxing history but despite the optimism of the crowd few gave Foreman more than a puncher's chance middle-aged men don't knock out 25 year old heavyweight champions he would be the oldest to win the heavyweight title by a huge margin over wolf and it was 37 when he beat ezler charge I always thought if the George Foreman from The Rumble in the Jungle had the brain of the George Foreman who fought Michael Moore that's the greatest fighter ever get ready to rumble [Applause] the fabric is almost the first five rounds his world heavyweight title I told you I told you greatest you don't have any business in the ring with me [Applause] 20 years after being beaten by Army big George Foreman recaptured the heavyweight championship the oldest champion in the history of books nobody brings it home like Jill Vincent nobody make it so
