I'm Yours Jason Mraz UKE TUTORIAL FAST & EASY

hey guys welcome back to my channel so in today's video I'm gonna be teaching you how to play I'm yours by Jason Mraz on the ukulele of course what's really cool about this song is that it's kind of known as a four chord song meaning that these four notes that I'm about to teach you you can play with a lot of pop songs nowadays or a lot of songs in general they have the basis of these four chords so I'll teach you I'll teach it to you but for the purpose of this video I'm going to just be teaching you I'm yours by Jason Mraz okay so in this song there are two parts it's the verse and the chorus and they're the exact same notes for the whole song so it's very easy the notes that you're going to need to learn how to play RC G a minor and F okay so C is on the one two three third fret first string then you're going to go into a G which is the same shape as a D on the guitar it's going to be on the second fret first string second fret third string and third fret second string from there you're gonna go into a minor which is the fourth string on the second fret and then the last note is going to be an F so all you're gonna do is you're gonna stick your index finger on the second string first fret and those are all the chords that you need to know for this song there is a part where you add a G right before you're gonna go into the chorus but I will sing and show you when that is going to be so the strumming pattern for this one I like to do down up Chuck okay I haven't mentioned a Chuck on any of my tutorials yet but a Chuck you kind of just mute the string so I just use the top of my fingers and just kind of like a mute the strings with my palm so I like Chuck it down and I'll hit the strings with my palm so it means it out like that and I kind of just adds a beat to the song so from a seat I'll go [Music] so when I'm going to sing learn some instead of ending on an F here at the end of the verse I'm gonna go to a G and go straight into the chorus [Music] [Music]
