all right folks the deck is tax's demon hunter the goal of the deck is to frustrate our opponents in the early game with cards like watch posts cult neophyte and narrow bar weblord get to a glide to shuffle our opponent's hand back into their deck and if we have a watch post on board it will increase the cost of all cards that they draw off of the glide in addition to reducing their hand size eventually we can slam a cargo battle scar and fill our board with five fives and beat our opponent over the head with them if you're watching this on youtube don't forget to like comment and four mana watch post look at the synergy between crossword roads watch post and lothub here the last poor warlock uh that's three five fives for the cargill and zero glides so far you're in my hands galaxy version i really hate these uh these watch posts don't the they is close enemies oh reno's down and before pirate last guy yeah that would be a bummer but not a whole lot i can do about that nice to see the new set hasn't broken your spirits yet why would it break my spirits i've been having a lot of fun all right skull of golden into um easy glide right how are there no glides in my deck glide my god this is unbearable [Music] couldn't even get a mana burn there's the glide look you decided to show up i think i want to limit their battle price i will say that this has gotten some decent value finally it explains why they've been playing around it so much awful could you explain why secret mage is so good and why you don't play it i mean it's good because it's got like a it hit critical mass in terms of synergistic mechanics and i don't play it because i don't know it's not a very fun style of play for me yeah they can't possibly get double sure wait did we win we didn't this is mazaki this gives us enough value and then we can follow it with a glide okay so glide is actually going to be very important this game i think one day janae thank you for the hundred bits can i revert my twitch sub into an only fan sub um you'll have to contact twitch support for that so i need their hand to fill up a little bit more which is what the deck wants to do anyway what's the grade on your glasses they're um they're in fifth grade but they read at like a seventh grade level is this gonna be a good enough glide or should i get greedy with it i don't really have a better play as the problem so i'll need to topdeck something that counts i feel like the crossword crossroads watch post is unironically very good in this matchup or has the potential to be at least do people normally memorize the glade of the grade of their eyewear i wear contacts with glasses and couldn't tell you my prescription to save my life yeah i have no idea it's not something that people typically have memorized in my experience i just look it up when i need to order a new pair or go to the doctor i think i have to play it here because my hand is so garbage there's the crossroads um this is unfortunately not very good but this is that helps if it's the waker version i think the uh the crossroads watch posts legitimately just like hard carries whoopsie maybe not a whoopsie it's still like effectively health right so i only lose to mizaki but well played there's not much i can do about that honestly if it's the mizaki version the four watch but still carries because of the animations i think it oh unfortunately it is the uh version i need to find another glide here let me work my magic which is very likely right oh magical warlock this gives me another turn but i can't play it because of the stupid narrowbar weblord okay so that's an ice block for sure but this is actually pretty good into this deck as well just give me the glide please oh my god the second one also uh six nine nice i think it's actually more important to get the uh colt neophyte down this turn but let's see if we can get a glide in there as well unbelievable i can get the second one down next turn by eye beaming my minion and then playing the mana burn and hopefully that can give me enough time to uh i think you might be right the animations might actually block their combo i think they should play exactly one more spell here like unironically to um make sure that i pop it like eight also now i can't get the second one down unfortunately oh oh did we do it oh no it's a 50 50. uh that's really frustrating as like there's a game-winning coin flip that i lost here's the next card too that's so unbelievably frustrating wait they didn't clear i can't attack i'll have board space for the minion i grow in pilidarian to silence i could i beam this they've already used all their burst right so i think this is the better line like they don't have any damage spells right they had more i think you'd be dead yet we absolutely would be they used all of their freezes they've used uh double bolt and um well that could kill me they don't yeah they should be out of damage though they might have another um oh my god no there's a battlegrounds board for sure don't okay that's a that's an ice block so if they don't have it here oh they're dead we won we did it oh my god i got so i got lucky that last couple turns but we also put them in a spot where they had to use their freezes they just took 78 points of fatigue damage this ends now it's probably tog druid but i don't know how to beat that other than maybe like loatheb and mana burns probably not mana burn on one [Music] i'm probably just going to mana burn next turn like watch post mana burn i think cargal is a legitimate win condition in this matchup so it's not that bad that i'm getting watch posts early okay this is probably better than a uh mana burnless in the spot the problem is is that the uh the watch posts don't really do a whole lot into spreading plague this seems good the dream we also sent uh a lot of cards back to deck this is not a good play but i wanted to get it down like i don't i don't benefit from buffing uh my watch bus all that much unless they just like rage throw out a uh oh my god what just happened let me work my magic i thought they were just gonna kill that that was the whole point of the hero power right i should find the other glide i drew a nine drop oh because it only triggered once right i noticed that in editing today that is actually important information to have this cannot feel good do i go for the second glide it's a one out of three we did it it's kind of redundant because we got so much cost increase already but it's funny so i'm gonna do it here if they do a spreading plague it's also their entire turn and it buffs our board minus one oh that's fine i've been streaming for a very long time chad i think you can give me this one i must think okay so it's not spreading plague it's gonna be um branching paths but that also kind of buffs our board quite a lot loatheb should seal it right vengeance is mine i think that's it how good are the outposts well they've hard carried this game oh seven mana lightning bloom there you go i did it in the right order just for you that time twitch chat oh my god that's the best top deck i could have hit on my watch enjoy that expensive hand and this board that is threatening lethal what about the things that attack them pretty good let me work my magic um still needs to be reno right your wish is bartacus oh man that was a fun game i had i had a 50 50 for a glide the turn before you comboed and then we got got i'm kind of tempted to keep a watch post should i just keep both of them and assume it's waker mage i should have pitched the mana burn though oh well i i'll just uh skillfully draw the card that's playable here secret mage would be a worse matchup yeah but honestly i think with the uh the watch posts i'm probably favored into waker mage [Music] and i mean that sincerely mazaki is a little bit tougher because they just send their burst at my face but we have glides for that and uh wakers has been the more popular version it's a good hit i want to delay this turn because my mana is going to be spoken for the next few turns double flow right away yeah yeah but uh we'll just offset that with um the watch post i guess okay that leads me to believe it is not the mizaki version because they just kind of uh freely gave that away right and that's an important part of their their burst if it's uh mazaki let's go here and here now i'm not scaling this very well but uh the opponent's scaling it for us with the with the watch post right all right a little bit late but uh
