I'm taking a break :D

alright guys i'm just gonna cut to the chase i'm taking a break from youtube and you might be asking how did you go from this i'm gonna be trying to get back to my two videos a week to this so i am sorry but i think i'm gonna go to one video a week so finally i'm not gonna be making videos anymore what and to make matters worse it was in the span of like how many weeks won in the world august 26th so basically over the span of a month i went from making two videos a week to making zero very nice kind of impressive not gonna lie but i just wanted to make a short video to explain myself and thank all of you guys who have supported me throughout the years i really appreciate you guys like starting this channel and like seeing all of you guys enjoying the videos and supporting me like it was the most fulfilling thing i did in high school hello everybody i'm cara and this is probably my last regularly posted video and the reason i want to take a break is actually not because i'm too busy right like even though i have a lot of college stuff to do doing one video a week is not much of a time commitment the main reason that i am stopping is because i feel like youtube doesn't really fit into what kind of stuff i want to do in college like at this point i just really want to learn new stuff and get better at like all the skills that i'm going to be using in the future like every time i make a video i'm just like wait i could be spending my time on this which seems way more fun to do it's actually kind of funny what made me think about like whether i want to continue this channel or not like this week i was literally planning on posting this video are my high school ec still useful in college activities that i think i over committed to and basically the method i was trying to get across was be aware of what you're committing to and make sure you actually want to do it before you commit to it and then i realized wait a minute hmm i'm just gonna put it out there i am the biggest hypocrite in existence okay there's no doubt about it by the way the reason i didn't post the video just because like the message i wanted to get across wasn't coming across and it more sounded like i was just complaining about my easies which was not at all the point so i just wanted to say it properly here okay so i kind of realized that i'm not even listening to my own advice right like i initially made my channel to help people right which was really good because one i liked olympia's a lot and two i really like helping people and basically those two reasons single-handedly let me get through like the first few years of youtube when nobody watched my videos like every time a single person watched my video like whoa that's so cool holy moly i got a single view and now literally the same videos i used to make obviously i'm a little bit better just a tiny bit they get 800 views which means i gotta literally help way more people than i ever get to help in any of my clubs or anything like that and like ap crash cars those definitely fit into the help people roll dude those got like so many more views than i expected like holy moly so many of you guys appreciated the ap crash course so that was great but when i got to college i realized that like i'm not that interested in olympiads or aps or anything like that like don't get me wrong i really loved olympia and i think that was probably one of the most worthwhile activities i did in high school but as a college student there's no reason to do olympia still like you yourself can't participate in them that's one of the reasons the other reason is that there's other cool stuff to do and once you get to college you start wanting to learn more practical skills right and then i came up with a very big brain idea i want to be a college vlogger or like at least a college advice person i don't know that seems not too hard everybody does it at the very least it seems a lot easier than making crash cards because those take me a very long time to make but now that i think about it i did not personally enjoy vlogging at all dude like literally making those two vlogs that i made were was so hard it took so much editing and i just hated taking out my camera in public places and i'm honestly not the kind of guy who wants to be an influencer or success guru i don't even know what i'm doing like all the advice videos i make are literally just things i wish i told myself like a couple years earlier that's it i don't really know whether it's actually the best way to do things i just think that it would have helped me and like most of the stuff we're just telling you guys about college it doesn't fit at all into my initial goals right like i wanted to teach people and i wanted to do something i enjoyed vlogging is kind of neither of them so really youtube no longer fits with what i'm trying to do and it honestly is becoming more and more of a chore right like literally every week i go to record my weekly video i'm like what's the video i can make in the least amount of time so i can spend more time doing cool stuff the only videos i feel are worth making are the educational ones right because that's when people actually learn stuff and actually feel like i'm doing something useful but i'm still trying to figure out what educational videos i can make that are like both useful unique and fun to make like the fun to make part is really hard because i just don't enjoy making like a b crash growth that much or olympia videos that much but i know they help a lot of people so maybe i'll like make a couple of them but just not as regularly i think i will be back for like live solves of this year's olympias right like maybe when amc 12 happens i will be sure to live solve it i'm not 100 sure but i'll try to do it and also see if i can make some like ap like calc or ap physics crash courses if i have time but no promises there basically all i'm saying is i don't want to make videos regularly until i know like specifically what i want to do with the channel i also might post random vlogs for some reason i'm inspired so we will see but even though i won't be making too many videos of course my discord server is always open so please join the discord server and feel free to dm me whatever you guys want once you guys join the discord server like i'm i open my dm to everybody in the discord server so if you guys have any questions you guys just want to say hi you guys wanna i don't know ask me like questions on olympiads feel free to ask and i'll answer as many questions as i can i am a little busy but i will do my best also if you guys have suggestions on what i could do with the channel if you guys like have something that you think will fit into what i'm interested in feel free to drop it in the comments and if i'm inspired enough maybe i'll come back i don't know so now i wanted to just finish off the video by thanking you guys because that is the main point of this video okay basically the only reason i made all these videos is because all of you guys supported me right like you guys left some very nice comments on the video some of you guys literally even got onto this card you guys dm me saying oh wow your videos are so entertaining and i'm like yes that feels so good and that's really what got me through making all these videos for you guys so you guys made this possible i really really appreciate it i have no idea how seven thousand three hundred people found my videos interesting and all of you guys are epic okay that's enough this is not like some massive big deal i'm not like dying or anything you know but i just wanted to let you guys know the reasoning but anyways thank you guys for
