I'm A Strider Now | New Life SMP (Ep.1)

foreign [Music] and welcome to a brand new series on my channel this is New Life it's a modded SMP a very very modded SMP players get six lives but the twist is that with each life you get you'll have a different origin story I don't know what my first origin will be so I am joining the server to find out are those sequels I hear seagulls am I at a beach not a beach oh I'm shivering look at me look at me why am I shivering oh I'm a Strider travel the vast oceans of lava with the speed of a Strider oh I should have spawned in the nether because lava Walker I can walk on lava oh I'm rideable and I eat warped fungus I am supposed to be in the nether I need to get to the nether but first a costume change oh that's so cute I'm such a cute little depressed Strider who needs lava okay so spawn is behind me I'm going to venture forth oh I think I have slowness ah a village I will conquer it I'm not conquering anything with slowness I think my best bet is just to get some supplies and make another portal I think it's going to be easier to live in the nether as a Strider oh oh oh no oh I can't be in water I forgot oh my goodness I oh my goodness it's a river otter oh I didn't even know those were I didn't know that there were river otters okay oh where'd it go oh it's under the water I can't go in the water oh we are like star-crossed lovers like Romeo and Juliet I'm Romeo and I don't want to call you Juliet uh you are you're my significant otter I could name you significant Sig Sig for short that's cute I'll be back for you Sig but I'm a coward and I must go to this Village for the night but I will take an egg from this chicken thank you very much okay now let's go hide I think I already heard a zombie so I'm gonna go hide oh free crafting table don't mind if I do uh but yeah I'm just going to wait the night out in this windmill I only have six lives I don't want to die [Music] okay I hear a spider a skeleton is dying oh I got a bone thank you windmill for this safe Refuge now I will pillage the village uh but I'll replant the crops because I'm not a monster is that a bubbling cauldron huh cool cows all right I'm finally healed after my brush with water uh so now it is time to build another portal upper Golem I thought you lost the mob vote what do you what do you do oh that's what we cool I want a copper Golem okay time to Cave nope it's not I forgot wood [Music] look at me just shivering holding my little stick I'm so sad okay let's go let's go down into the caves I think this is as good of a place as any I need to make some torches that is why you make torches get away from me why why are you glowy that was weird we need to get some armor listen I am gonna get this copper and this coal because I'll probably need it eventually maybe to make a copper Golem but I think I'm just gonna mine down because that's that's water that's a scary cave so I think I'm just gonna staircase down gosh I don't think I can properly freak out about this because it's been in Minecraft for a long time but I have never found one of these I haven't been playing and this seems so perfect because I'm purple why does it sound like wind chimes oh this is so pretty and it's amethyst actually is it amethyst I don't even know I'm just gonna get a lot of these I don't know how rare they are I don't know if I need to leave a lot for other members on the server because I'm I'm still kind of close to spawn you know it's times like this that I really question why I stopped majoring in geology and switched to journalism and now I just mine rocks in the video game instead of in the real world I could have been so cool now I'm just an influencer anyway uh okay this is really neat uh oh Diamond our first diamond on the server future Stacy here going up to get more wood from the surface and a mined into water and I panicked and I almost died because I did not block up the water fast enough and you think that I would have learned my lesson about mining into water but no here I am again the water starts to come down and then I panic put down my furnace I get deep into the inventory menu and then I'm like wait switch to a torch put down the torch and five seconds too late half a heart half a heart Stacy good job okay I finally have enough diamonds to make a chest plate so that I don't die in water and then I realized I have to have a piece of gold armor if I'm gonna live in the nether because the piglens will kill me so golden diamond this is a look then I guess I'm gonna just top it off and have Iron Pants uh because I don't have diamonds okay Moment of Truth can I walk in lava yes oh this is cool this is neat look at this I get like a little speed boost and I'm a happy Strider now so that means I need to change my skin there oh look at this this mod hides the armor I'm still wearing the mismatched armor but you can't see it this makes me irrationally happy okay so now I can make a diamond pickaxe okay oh sure water mining obsidian is so easy in lava okay so now I just need to go up to the surface I don't know where to build my portal I love these cows though they're so cute I kind of hi I sort of want to collect them all and just build my portal here but I do see Tyga in the distance and I am the guardian of the Tiger by my book okay we are almost there oh no water lie all right it's gonna take a little bit more time to get there because we're gonna have to go around oh sweet podzel my favorite block an amalgamation of moss and pine cones and pine needles makes me feel like I'm camping just walking through a beautiful tiger with podzel look a stick on the ground what happens if you break it that makes sense oh look at that I honestly feel like I'm camping I really do what does that say about me kind of just want to keep exploring okay we've got snowy tiger what the what what are you what is what is this I don't know what this is is it a is it a geyser are there oh okay oh no no no no no okay that was dumb polar bears wait a minute I should not run towards polar bears that's not smart did you see that look oh mountain goat I wanna you're gonna you're gonna attack me aren't you I want a mountain goat though arctic fox oh this place is cool okay let's let's go back down though to the to the podsley part of the tiger I really don't want to lose my first life to a mountain goat I also have to be careful because I think that they're snowy or snow okay that's the snowy or snow how do you get out of it how do you get out of it I don't understand no no no no no no no no no I'm taking damage now is this what do you you can't is it I switch my pickaxe my pickaxe oh my gosh that was that was that was dumb snow and water my biggest fear in Minecraft ah look what I found it's a wolf and I have one bone this is okay that was that was your chance to go to the nether snowier snow I hate you give me back to the puzzle oh the worst okay I really just need to build the portal I'm I'm just gonna build it here I'm just gonna this is a great spot okay uh okay so there's a weird chip in the air and a Pillager Tower but I don't care I'm ready to go to the nether we're going but I think I'm gonna dig into the mountain here I'm gonna just make a little Hideout okay my hideout's done I think it turned out actually really adorable I'm just gonna put some stuff here that I don't need to take to the nether I don't need my bed this will just be my little Overworld Hideout because I have built the podzel portal right here that is going to take me to sunnier climbs because look look at this right here outside my Hideout I didn't notice snowy or snow unbelievable stupid I'm just biased because I live in a cabin in the mountains in real life and I had the winter of all Winters anyway okay let's light this and I just hope we get a good nether spawn please just a nice nether spot [Music] oh yeah oh yes this is great this is cool oh whoa oh it's cool there's another portal too look at that it looks like uh another Mesa and there's a warped forest and then I mean this biome is nuts and so someone's already been here I guess look at this ah it's so cool I'm definitely gonna have to explore here but I don't think I want to live here I want to live in a lava lake ah yeah okay that's what I'm talking about okay yup yup it's like a it's like it's just like just like water only where I want to live because I can run on lava I don't know do I take fall damage onto lava should I test it I'm gonna go for it thank you [Music] oh oh my gosh this is incredible oh look at this this is so cool Strider Strider I am one of you we're the same me and you obviously okay uh oh I don't even know what to say this is like the coolest experience I've had in Minecraft what what is this a fortress oh it's a spawner uh okay I'm gonna have to come back to that later uh but this is this is so neat oh oh my gosh this is so cool I can just build my house here in lava let's just let's just build it [Music] [Music] [Applause] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh well hello there all right come in come in come see what my house is like oh first and foremost meet my friends these are just the Striders that kind of walked into my house while I was building it and I think that they're wonderful but yeah it's pretty simple the floor is lava I've got a fireplace I've got these cool like light fixtures I've made this Anvil out of the same thing as my shutters which is a cinecyte I believe this is my little workstation over here I've got a loft oh oh okay so I have been waiting for this moment and it's finally gonna happen let me take my lava elevator this is my second little floor that I have kind of little hangout I can see all of the nether I have like a little place where I can sit oh oh no Shelby left the game I'm having such terrible luck I've I've been on the server for so long and I've I'm so lonely there's no one here I've got a little picture of the um the Overworld like a forest and a river uh which is not where I live on this server and I I have not seen a single other player no one no one is coming to hang out but I I thought maybe I would spawn a chicken as a friend okay let's just see oh my gosh you're a skeleton why are you skeleton oh you're my best friend uh another one no another one no oh but we're so lucky hi you're my best friend in the entire world this is our home little nether skeleton chicken you are so perfect you know what I should do actually I need to build a Strider stop so that people can come into the nether portal get a Strider and ride it to my house that's why we don't have any visitors all right you stay here I'm gonna work on the Strider stop okay okay so I think my nether portal is up that way here it is looks like it's been broken by aghast so I want to break the portal and relocate it down on oh my gosh I almost hit you that would have been so bad I'm just gonna dig straight down because I can't die in lava so what's the worst that can happen oh that's the worst that can happen that could have been so bad okay I'm here oh my house is right there oh this is perfect okay so I just need to go through this portal and it should link to my original podzel portal fingers crossed bad a phantom No because I haven't slept because I'm in the nether oh that's unfortunate okay this is unfortunate we're just gonna wait it's almost done oh I was hoping that some spiders would have spawned because I want string because you can craft name tags and I want one for my skeleton chicken but no such luck okay so I'm gonna be very careful to not eat this warped fungus because it's my only one left yes come on don't you want to live a life in captivity yes all right I'm just gonna block this up so now I can put down this way Stone guess guest no thank you guest oh why bad gassed okay let's place this whoops I was trying to eat a pork chop Stacy's Cottage great and now for my pork chop Neato oh this is so cool okay don't make fun of me because I said Neato but leave a comment with what you think I should name my chicken pet my only friend hopefully this way Stone and The Strider station will encourage more people to come and be my friend now we just you have a saddle on you why do you have on you this is so great do I have to have wire do you have to have a fungus on a stick no this is bad I bet this requires a fishing rod which requires string which I do not have oh this is just one more step back so anyone who comes to visit me won't be able to ride a Strider if I don't provide some fungus on a sticks for them and right now I only have one fungus because I ate the Rest by the way they do not provide any food saturation okay so yeah we've gotta adore in this place with item frames with
