IDLE CAFE'S UNBEATEN BREAKFAST IN A PAN CHALLENGE | BeardMeatsFood

so people often ask me how i find out about all these food challenges that i go around doing and honestly it's usually because the folks who are kind enough to watch my videos will tag me in social media posts and stuff like that and today is no different we're going to a place called the idol bakery and cafe to take on the as yet unbeaten breakfast challenge but i thought before we do that we could just laugh at some of the comments these comment threads are always the same easy i'd smash this challenge lol wouldn't even break a sweat small snack what's for afters nice starter sheer heart attack yes that's usually in there somewhere sack the black pudding black pudding's the best part can you swap items it's a food challenge not deal or no deal you don't get to swap c's could it easily do this minus the black pudding couldn't do it then could you could you anyway these people aren't going to do it i can guarantee you that so somebody's got to let's get to work hi uh i called about an hour ago by doing your breakfast challenge today there's only one other person in here and he's just drinking coffee and he's probably not going to share with me breakfast oh right an ordinary one [Music] i'm hoping i'll be all right we'll see yeah yeah for sure [Music] oh i don't know you've got a timer as well yeah you take it seriously i like that five minutes 25 minutes okay i think if i have to listen to maroon 5 any longer i might fail this guy's good it's destroying me do you think it's impossible all right so today my place called the idol bakery cafe taking on their special name or just the breakfast challenge the breakfast challenge the breakfast challenge that's as good a name as any and it includes sausages eggs beans tomatoes black pudding toast have i missed anything bacon there's bacon on it anything else hiding under here mushrooms oh mushrooms lovely my favorite it also includes this quite large mug of uh of tea not a big tea drinker more into coffee usually but you've got to finish that 25 minutes yes it's all right and uh if you finish it you get it on the house right and nobody's done it yet nope so i've got every other oh you're not allowed to stand up either that's a new one so you have to stay seated the whole time it's not standing up and jiggling around and stuff do you wanna give me like a three two one or whatever yeah can do since you're ready knife and [ __ ] don't have to use a knife i'm just gonna dive in with my smash my face in there go okay we're rolling welcome back to another episode and today we're getting reckless with another full english breakfast those are some nice sausages this is premium stuff you gush down right i tell you over the years i'll level with you i've eaten some pretty dog breakfasts i've eaten the worst of the worst when it comes to full english breakfast but this was not one of them this was uh i would go as far as to say splendid and good he's not sticking around to see the show [Music] good lord do you see that i told you these were juicy sausages oh little fluffy well lovely i'll give you like a minute oh dear that i get a warning every 10 minutes i'll tell you one thing about this place they've got their stuff together they definitely take the food challenge pretty seriously here um there are a lot of things to like about this place though it's quirky it's cozy i really enjoyed the food it's gotta be in probably my top three breakfast certainly of the last year but what sets them apart is how seriously they take this food challenge they've got the timer the no standing room and they're watching you like a hawk the whole time [Music] thank you very much incredibly attentive with the additional nut kits too which is always a bonus anyway today a place called the idol cafe a bakery i mean i i said that already but just in case you skipped the intro and i'm taking on their uh their as yet unbeaten breakfast challenge which has only been around a few weeks but um nobody's managed to finish it yet it costs 25 quid i think you get 25 minutes to finish i mean i won't itemize everything but lots of english breakfast fair oh i left a sausage [Music] don't play i eat all the independent items kind of in groups sausages then bacon then eggs you know but um yeah mr sausage it's like odd socks i'm trying to match up the slices of bread so they it doesn't really work that way [Music] 20 minutes left yeah how about that pretty accurate assessment there by the waitress i think you'll agree it is almost all gone i think what i enjoyed most about this one is nobody in the restaurant recognized me or had ever heard of me which was a bonus because it means genuinely people are quite shocked and taken aback by what i'm doing which of course makes it a lot more fun for me don't you believe it until i'm finished [Laughter] i mean i've been accused of a lot of things over the years but never cheating by feeding my food to a dog under the table i need to get started with the tea [Music] i tell you i wish mrs bird was that easily impressed those days are long gone now he says i'm not going to finish it you'll never finish it and now he's leaving before he gets to see the final hurdle next time you come here i want you to give us a try [Music] 39 seconds how's my beard look come on total mess was all right yes surprisingly unbesmirched at this point anyway i'll enjoy the rest of the video in peace and i'll catch you next one fortunately there's only like a handful of mushrooms in here [Music] and just be just because i saw so many people in the comments complaining about black pudding i say this today because i think black pudding is the best part of a full english if you ask me almost just a piece of tea for your i'll pay you extra for the cubes i'm just gonna put them all in there i hate tea it tastes like i don't mind like peach tea but like you know regular tea it's gonna taste really sweet i put like eight sugar cubes in here [Music] still a couple of full sugar cubes that haven't dissolved [Music] well i mean it does come with a biscuit biscuit too which you have to finish so it's not booby trap does it like you can't get into it so you can't finish that could be the case actually come on i'm just trying to get into the biscuit that's all right improvised come on oh man i fully embarrass myself here i don't know like i thought oh wait i got into it i got in i got i'm in it i am in there's a couple of pieces of egg there so okay now i'm finished yeah is that good yes eight minutes three seconds left probably like four minutes so that was me trying to get into that flipping biscuit but that was uh that was yummy do you have like a dessert menu or is it just kind of what's in there um this is what we've got one of those rocky road thingies in fact no no not the jammy dodger one that looks really cool yeah [Music] jammy dodger flapjack this is thick thick with two c's
