no that's what I've been waiting for you really we do four and four off so I haven't got it if it was yesterday because I weren't on shift oh welcome back to the channel guys today we're here at ibstock Brick Layton buzzard I've been to one of these before actually in ibstock I think it was and this is another site so we shall have a look we're on the end of a bit of a cul-de-sac there's another business here to the left quite a few businesses in this little cul-de-sac so they can't restrict movement can they they don't own it solely [Music] from this point outside got a sign down there lipstock brick Layton buzzard Collections and deliveries stop here report to the security office obviously like the big sign at the top and some product down here do they don't like tiles roof tiles I don't like bricks to me a bit of a Ford's cabin security Gatehouse whatever you call it and the barrier controlled access into the site where we can see straight away to Electric charging points over there priority space huh and we've got a new gate now Newgate or a barrier repair service as well it says it barriers sliding Gates swing gates bollards turnstiles so he's probably here to repair the barrier which we love to see don't we've got some demonstration areas over there to show the roof tiles in place on little fake roofs ah very good so it's an unmanned reception star performer of the month oh and the door has just opened and it goes straight into the production facility there [Music] and it is open as well [Music] it's not really not really safe to wander around so I'm not going to take the mick although it is wide open I'm just going to be responsible and use the phone but it just tells you loads of mobile phone numbers and there isn't like a reception Maps it says this place is called 40 Crete but all the signs are saying ibstock so ibstock must be linked to 43 in some way and it looks like this site is the roof tile site that's for sure we're seeing lots of evidence of roof tiles not only to the right of reception there but certainly all them pallets over there are roof tiles [Music] as shown by the Flats going down but there will be a lot more to see with the Drone so let's just jump straight into it let's get the Drone out and see what this place looks like from above oh yeah yeah good thanks oh hello you watch the videos have you won't really see a lot from that since we make all the plastic clips that go on our product right okay so what about um sort of solar panel brackets do you get involved in because you know in the future roof tiles will actually have the solar panel on it you know that I didn't know that yeah I saw an invention that sounds good didn't it yeah yeah it does sound good yeah so I'm really you've got on the side there yeah showing roof tiles I Can See Clearly their roof tile do you call them pallets or bales or where we looked at the pallets here yeah yeah pallets so a full stack of roof tile is called a yeah so they'll be our I think they're Gemini they're Gemini tiles so it's got a mop one so it's two tiles got a clip that goes underneath and you put one tile on the roof access two times and easier for the roofers right okay sorry okay and how many tiles is there on a pallet 336 on that product right okay so and it's all made here from scratch yeah yeah so you can't you can see just the roof now just to try and go over the epstock sign yeah that's our sand house you see our sun drivers come around here through the barrier that goes at the reception I think like he did supposed to reception yeah they're going through the drop there sand in there that goes up cement drivers come the same way as well but it's just on the other side of that it's their room feed they plug it in pump him from there right okay so and then we've got our uh aggregate Aggregates pigments paints and all that stuff that comes in and we put that in ourselves with a machine called a screw mixer put it in the chainsaw up us at that point we've already got the aggregate our ad mix and our cement all inner mix as we call it right we just color it put it for our Extrusion machine cut it and it goes into our Chambers brilliant so brilliant sounds easy when you say it like that there's no chance of seeing it in a safe way is there inside I understand understand it's very dangerous in done eight stock at the PLC so they bought all their businesses So within the business so we do fence posts we do the roof tolls and we do warning as well right so it's sort of we've all rebranded the zip stock whereas I think like say before you might have known 40 crate you wouldn't know nib stock right so you might have gone elsewhere that was in ibstock to maybe buy your uh fence post so now rebranding it all as one you come all the same place to do the shopping right okay makes sense okay yeah yeah I could explain that no no does it does you you've taken all the different bits and put it under one name yeah it makes sense yeah four to create for one thing now let's go to IP stock for everything yeah yeah so if somebody like a DIY customer doing a repairs on their roof they wouldn't come direct to you would they they'd go to one of your Distributors were there more often than not yeah I think it's quicker as well because obviously they'll hold stock I think maybe Jason's and that in the past I don't know if they still do but they'll hold stock right so you're saying that if I was building a mansion from scratch and I wanted to come direct would there be a saving rather than going to a distributor at this point yeah I don't know right okay okay but but it is possible for Direct Factory to yeah I think it's just a little bit slow then obviously because when we've still got all our tailor wimpy and stuff like that that we do cater to but obviously I don't actually know if what I'm saying is right on that part right okay apparently I don't get involved for sales yeah so it's just raw materials that come in and full loads Lorry loads go out and actually you don't have public coming in here at all do you no no to be honest the most we get is a cement drive one aggregate driver up there little local induction at the cabin right you go this way from the toilet you drive this way this is your fire point and all that stuff yeah yeah unfortunately yeah we don't have people walk around way too many yeah no no somewhere like this you've got to keep it yeah yeah it's brilliant thank you and you've got them air Defenders are they reusable just want one use only are they these ones yeah I use them for a day and then most of the time I do use these ones right yeah so I've just got them and now because they're in my pocket yeah is it all the areas quite noisy inside yeah yeah it's all as soon as you're on the shop floor it's as as you see me to be honest safety glass is hard hat yeah ear protection so yeah mandatory are they prescription safety glasses they are oh brilliant they look so cool does the company pay for them as well nice any concerns with the Drone no the only thing I was gonna say if you want to take my number just in case it does go down but it was actually I thought about it the other day in case you come around if you go up there's an Alleyway I can show you on my phone you can probably actually get more of the yard from that flight over ibstock Leighton Buzzard the roof tile manufacturing facility wow look at all the stock that they've got you heard him mention Taylor wimpy there all the big house builders they choose their roof tile supplier don't they and then they say right we need this amount making per per whatever and they are constantly trying to keep up but what a clean yard eh all organized so they know exactly what is where and down at the back even more racks against the Warehouse wall there so as we get a little bit high up at 100 meters you can clearly see the amount of stock that we've got in this base and then around this side of the building and down this side you see where the raw material is delivered into that grate there then it goes up the conveyor belt and into the plant that way so let's get nice and high let's get the whole place in one shot do the 360 degree photo for Google Maps and then move on straight down it's the new name the new name I know yeah they should keep both so you saw that Lorry arrive you see is the new epstock sign but the paperwork still says 40 Crete so he's looking for 43 and getting very confused because there's no mention of four decree on any of these signs so just throughout the library drivers maybe just put a temporary sign up just while your paperwork's being been changed to the new name it's got a little temporary sign up to help these drivers here Goggins transport love and then we've got another one behind bims brick and block haulage hand them in this position I'll just show you where I put the DJ audits keyring it's just in there in the hole of the fence look yeah you can see it and I think I will leave that one there because we didn't get no hassle from any security wasn't the easiest in the world sign wise to ring reception but everybody knows zero is for reception but then we saw it goes through to Leicester yeah there was an Open Door there maybe that should have been closed on the magnet to stop unauthorized people just wandering in getting themselves in danger but vehicle wise you know great barriers I mean we say that it's just winding it right now let's get a close-up of this I've certainly not seen this before where the barriers have been so broke that you actually get your Winder out and start winding it up and down look at that look who I did to control the barrier now surely there's a better way than that but if they want to keep the barrier closed then the wind option is the only option then you have to do it don't you so when the barriers are in operation this anpr camera does here will read the number plate and lift the barriers up without you even having to swipe or press a button so yeah a few observations wasn't really sure whether members of the public can contact these directs
