I Went To Philippines Most Controversial Event 🇵🇭

in today's video we will attend an event  here in mindanao in southern Philippines   that is quite controversial and I was also not  sure if I really want to see it this is hard   to watch for me we will also explore around  with crishel, see some beautiful spots and   try to avoid the police your mom just called and  they warned us that there's a police checkpoint   since this is my last day in the province I  will invite chisel's whole family for dinner   where I saw something very interesting on  the menu pizzaghetti what's that pizza with   spaghetti yeah let's experience more Village  Life here in the Philippines feel free to join okay we are trying to find gasoline which  might be difficult in a small village like this   she also has no idea and she's a local around  here yeah shops like this in the Villages selling  yeah usually it's old liquor bottles or Coca-Cola   bottles filled with gasoline all right so I'm not  spilling everything now I think this is a small   tank actually so maybe two two would be enough oh  she has half a bottle here oh perfect let's see   how full this tank is going to be after this yeah  there are no proper gas stations around here so   that's what you have to do here in these areas  I think that's okay probably not totally full   but I think enough for now okay how much is it Ma  100 100 okay much thank you very much and that's   how you get gasoline here in the village in the  Philippines actually looks quite beautiful we are   still surrounded by plenty of coconut trees here  and then we have a few houses here and there some   shops on the right on the left Tuk Tok driving  around here probably the local Village Taxi very   Lively here very nice he's learning how to drive  the motorbike now he's 15 years old and this   is one of his first rides that's his dad yeah I  think so the dad is teaching him looks all right a   little bit shaky but that's all right what age do  you learn to drive here usually um you're allowed   to drive 18 but 18 but I see many people in The  Villages here driving with younger age right yeah yeah hello hello so this is the river that we usually swim before  when I was like 7 years old so you went swimming   here when you were younger yeah mostly that area  okay let's let's have a look actually the water   looks pretty clean like fresh water here oh yeah  check it out the water actually looks pretty good   pretty refreshing oh actually it's pretty high  up here so we can test it out oh this is nice   actually oh this is really nice we also do fishing  here sometimes fishing electric fishing electric   fishing yeah what is electric fishing like  there's electric and then for example if there's   fish nearby they're going to die oh so you set the  water with uh electric electric electroshocks and   then the fish die and then you can just collect  them yeah sounds sounds is the easy way of fishing   this is what where we slide down you used to slide  down basically  around the corner up there there's a police   checkpoint and we can't drive through  there now because she forgot to bring   her helmet today and uh yeah in case you're  wondering I would give her this helmet but   she actually doesn't want the helmet and this  one is also too big for her so yeah we are on   the way to another location now and yeah the  police check one is over there she's talking   with her dad or her mom now but I see other  people also with no helmet here see there's   a guy or actually two with no helmet oh I  think he's also stopping because he saw the checkpoint I'm wondering because most of the  days yeah I see most people with no helmets but   actually you have to wear one um yeah you have  to wear one but as long as there's no police   checkpoint people don't really care right yes yeah  there's again two girls with no helmet seems like   nobody's wearing helmets here but yeah they also  they're going to right way maybe we can do that   also I mean what's the the fine if they caught  you without a helmet I think 3,000 P 3,000 pesos   yeah oh that's pretty expensive maybe uh you can  walk until around the corner I can drive and then   we meet around the corner oh maybe it's funny to  see everyone who is driving here with no helmet as   soon as they see the police they are all stopping  here I think they are waiting here now everyone is   trying to avoid the police oh yeah he's checking  for the police police police police so we are not   the only ones trying to avoid the police oh we all  have 3,000 PES seems to be a very high fine for   for the locals here so I can really understand why  they want to avoid that fine but then also why not   just wear a helmet right you should not just wear  helmet for the police with the chicken   wings ah this is the spaghetti pizza oh yeah it  is literally just pizza with spaghetti on top and   with a tomato sauce I think and then we have the  second pizza over there the big one pineapple on   Pizza some people love it some people hate it some  people say even it's a sin to put pineapple on   pizza so I hope everyone enjoys the meal now can  you translate that I'm very thankful for the past   days and they have been so hospitable at time and  welcoming all right let's try spaghetti Pizza yeah   it's literally just pizza dough with spaghetti on  top I think it's actually easier to eat it with   the knife and pork spaghetti are adding a lot of  weight okay my first time trying spaghetti Pizza   it's a funny combination I like it it's good yeah  I like spaghetti I like pizza but I never had this   combination before very interesting is that common  Pizza in the Philippines or just for this place   just for this flavor here have you tried spaghetti  pizza before let me know in the comments yeah I'm   actually curious to try the the noodle soup it's  actually very similar to a chicken soup you also   have in [Music] Germany I have to say also The  Taste is similar not exactly the same but similar   oh I like it a lot it's a little bit thicker  than a regular soup I would say and then there's   chicken inside noodles this is egg I think this  egg yeah that's egg egg right some vegetables this   one I always have this because this like a big  bowl and then this not your first time trying this   okay that was my thought I actually think out  of all the things we're having here the noodle   suit is actually my favorite already my second  bow now okay everyone is full now but we do have   some pizza and some soup left so uh you can take  it if I'm allowed to film this on YouTube but   guess we will find out and it has something to  do with chickens and I'm actually not sure if I   really want to see it but the one side of me is  also curious to see it because it is a popular   uh thing to do here in the Philippines in the  provinces okay and I guess the sign says you're   only allowed to enter when you're 18 years old  yeah I'm 18 right so no entrance if you are not   at least 18 years old hello hello oh it seems like  a big arena here and a lot of people are here this   is a big event here right I think so yeah every  Sunday having this as a form of entertainment it   is a tradition all over the Philippines so I'm  definitely not judging anyone here but I have   to admit this is coming from from Germany this  is hard to watch for me I know some of you will   find this very cruel some of you will find this  normal it depends where you're coming from and   with what culture you grew up right all right  that was an experience that was an experience   I'm a little bit out of words now I don't really  know how to summarize my feelings about this but   uh yeah I just tried to explain my feelings  already inside maybe it was too noisy so uh   yeah what I what I think about this is from my  perspective this was something cruel to watch   and I don't really like watching this to be  honest but I can also understand the people   here because this it's just a different culture  it is tradition here it is part of the culture   here this is going on all over the Philippines  also in other Asian countries by the way so not   only in the Philippines so it depends how you  grew up with what traditions and cultures and   Views you drew up so I can understand everyone  that finds this is not a form of entertainment   but I can also understand the people here for  who this is a form of entertainment what are   your thoughts about this um I mean I can't change  the way they think right you can't change the way   they think it's just if you're not um into that  kind of situation just don't join them yeah yeah   that's it I mean I was just curious to see this  because I've never seen this before and I mean the   whole event going around it it was interesting  the people were in good mood there was a good   atmosphere you can buy food so the whole event  around it seems to be very fun
