Last year, I turned my cat Ralph into Lego I mean technically I didn’t turn him into
Lego, he’s completely unharmed,
I just made him out of Lego I called his Lego counterpart ‘Rolf'
Ralph and Rolf Bella! Well now it’s Bella’s turn,
but this time it’s gonna be way more difficult With Rolf,
All I had to worry about was the shape, since Ralph’s entirely one colour
But as well as being somewhat shapelier, Bella’s very very stripy,
with grey, dark grey, black, white and orange fluff,
as well as a bright pink belly It is forbidden to touch Bella’s belly
Plus, although she’s not currently wearing it,
I want to make her donut out of Lego too That reminds me,
see if you can spot the bronze silver and golden donuts hidden somewhere in this video,
and let’s make a deal: if one of the cats sits on this giant ‘subscribe’
button, then you have to subscribe for real
Come on, don’t let me down… Well it looks like the universe has spoken So the plan is actually to build two Lego
Bellas With the first,
I’m just gonna worry about the shape and use mostly grey bricks
then I’ll take it apart layer by layer, and produce a sort of map of how to rebuild
her, which I’ll then do with the appropriate
colours So I think we’re doing alright size-wise,
but I’ve completely forgotten to give her a tail
And so I made her a tail, and with her comically short legs out the
way made quick progress on the torso Like when I built Rolf,
I used Duplo bricks in the interior, entirely compatible with Lego and a great
way of saving valuable grey bricks needed for the outside
And before long it was shoulder height But this is where it gets really tricky,
because of Bella’s donut It usually sits at an angle- boring, boring,
boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring,
I’m really sorry, the first Bella’s done, but this video’s descending into a series
of grey timelapses, it’s really monotonous
So as I undo hours of hard work and take her apart again,
I’m gonna make the rest of this video as colourful as I can,
plus include as many cat puns as humanly paw-sible Yep, it’s the sequel nobody asked for
Aww, she just went to bop you there buddy I made a layer by layer map of how to rebuild
her, and now armed with my makeshift blueprints,
it was time to build Lego Bella fur real And I’m gonna attempt to do so inside the
bag [Build-in-the-Bag Theme Song]
I’m only kitten with you, but I am gonna do so whilst telling you all
about this video’s sponsor, Surfshark VPN,
with the help of my two glamorous assistants Ah, doesn’t she look adorable?! A VPN, or Virtual Private Network,
is a privacy protection tool that encrypts everything your device sends to the internet,
be it from hackers and cyber-criminals, or even big companies or governments,
tracking what you get up to, or building invasive advertising profiles
of you Surfshark also hides your real location and
IP address by giving your device a virtual one,
in over 95 different countries around the world
This allows you to unblock content normally unavailable in your country,
such as on streaming services, although you should check their individual
terms of service first It also has a really useful feature called
‘CleanWeb’, that blocks ads, trackers, malware and phishing
attempts, allowing you to browse online safely

where I’d encountered a major purr-oblem So I don’t actually have enough blue bricks
to finish her donut Ordering specific bricks through the Lego
website takes fur-ever, which left me only one option
[demon voice] You must make a sacrifice But which set to use? [demon voice] The camper van
But I spent hours building that, I can’t take it apart
[demon voice] The Cat Gods command it Look there must be another way-
[demon voice] You are angering the Cat Gods Woah, woah, woah, ok, I’ll take it apart
With fearful obedience, I disassembled the camper van and harvested
its meaty blue bricks It’s a shame to take a cool Lego set apart,
but whilst millions of people around the world have this exact set,
there’s only gonna be one Lego Bella, so there’s no point feline sad about it
Plus if you play that clip backwards you can just pretend I’m making it again
Aww yeah, a camper van! I used tile pieces for the sprinkles,
purr-fectly colour-matched to her real donut, and moved on to her head,
Like Rolf, I’m aiming for a more exaggerated and cartoonish
look rather than photo-realistic, and as such her head it quite blocky- boring,
boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring,
Just show the finished thing already! Ok, are you ready fur this? Yeah, you’re probably not ready fur this,
no one’s ready fur this, [trumpet fanfare]
It turned out incredibly creepy Even Bella won’t go near it,
and she headbutts everything! I think it is salvageable though
The two big problems are the eyes and the ears,
oh, and the mouth, pretty much everything then
Those eyes look like she’s been hypnotised or just had way too much catnip,
so if I add some white for the reflections, it looks a little better
The mouth was an easy fix, using this quarter-circle pieces,
and her ears are just completely wrong, so fix them a little,
and it’s still not my greatest work, but meet Stella
Bella and Stella But the real question is: will Stella get
the headbutt of approval? YES! Mission Accomplished
And then she kept headbutting it, and headbutting it,
and headbutting it I think that means she likes it,
or at least it means the sharp bricks feel nice against her head
Purr-sonally, I still think it looks weird As for Tom and Reggie,
well I think two life-size Lego statues are quite enough,
so I just got the standard orange Lego cat and placed him on the Golden Gate Bridge set
For Tom, I had to buy this obscure 23 year old Lego set on eBay,
one of only two sets ever released to come with this black cat
I built him his Time Machine, and even had a custom sticker printed
I think this is now my favourite Lego thing I’ve ever made
And since Ralph became Rolf and Bella became Stella,
I hereby name Tom ‘Tim’ and Reggie ‘Rodger’ So Ralph, Tom, Reggie and Bella,
and Rolf, Tim, Rodger, Stella Madness! Remember you can get 83% off Surfshark VPN
