today's video has been sponsored by mizin i know i know another tick tock test but you guys seem to love them and a ton of recipes have been popping off and you guys have been sending them to me over the past few months so over on my instagram story i just put a little text box asking you guys what you'd like to see me create among the replies were uh your self-confidence as well as someone else's will to live i don't know that i'm exactly qualified to help you out with that um but as for some food recipes you guys really wanted me to do the pasta chips a couple different ramen hacks and then the ice cream bread pause the video and leave a comment with which recipe you think is gonna come out the best today and let's get right into this one it's been a while since i've had a recipe flooded into my dms and comments as much as this one the pasta chips have just been everywhere recently and they do look like they could be good i have some doubts clearly but we'll get to them in a minute right now i wanted to give a shout out to my friends over at mizin over a year ago mizan and i teamed up to show you their amazing chef's knife which i still use and adore to this day and today they are back once again to not only make this video possible but to also show off their incredible stainless skillet if you're unfamiliar miesen's mission is to inspire and enable great cooking they offer premium kitchen tools sold at affordable prices and like i said their journey began with the chef's knife and has since expanded to stainless skillets and non-stick pans no matter the product mizen's end goal is the same to help you create amazing meals at home for a fair price last time a bunch of you guys told me how happy you were with your chef's knife after using my discount code and i cannot wait to hear the same about this pan this thing is thick and a perfect blend of metals the aluminum is a great conductor while the stainless steel retains the heat it's got a huge cooking surface and it's virtually indestructible this thing is dishwasher safe and oven safe up to 500 degrees fahrenheit so please do yourself a favor click the link in the top line of the description and use code see more to get 20 off of your first misen purchase and thanks so much to meesan for supporting the channel for the famous tik tok pasta chips grab some rigatoni pasta and italian seasoning salt pepper and olive oil some parmesan cheese and garlic greek yogurt and feta cheese while i usually admire and appreciate the zippy quickness of most tick-tocks while i'm scrolling through them i kind of wish there was a little bit more to this video there's really no measurements to be seen for any of this there is no direction as to how long you're supposed to cook your pasta because it wasn't mentioned i'm gonna assume we're cooking this all the way through to the longest duration on the box they're gonna get so dried out and crispy in the airfryer i can't imagine why you would need an additional little ring of like hardened starchy al dente pasta in the middle and if you exclude the whipped feta dipping sauce you can have these done in an instant you know you boil your pasta you toss them in the flavorings and a little oil and then air fry them you can have these done faster than bon appetit i'm sorry i gotta chill i know the sauce is literally just some feta greek yogurt olive oil and a clove of garlic i used about one part of yogurt and then like one and a half parts of cheese you want this to set up pretty firmly so you can dip things in it and that's pretty much it we can throw these all onto a plate garnish it with something that i actually enjoy in basil and not something that would ruin the whole dish and now we can finally see what all the excitement is about let's not have another uh tyler1 moment to where i lose all the food on the desk this smells really good i mean just the italian seasoning alone gives some serious like pizza vibes all right firm that was good i mean there's nothing to not like here all you really taste is feta cheese and italian seasoning i'm sure you can like mess with the seasoning if you so choose oh hold on that was not so good um that one was like super chewy and unpleasant i don't know if it's because i overloaded the air fryer and they didn't really cook evenly or some of them kind of got sogged out maybe i put a little bit too much oil if you do make these go for this color this is like the first one i had it's super crispy it dissolves in your mouth just like a chip would this was like my second one and it was not that delicious i would say knock both variables out space them further apart and then use a little bit less oil not a bad start though let's keep it going for the next carb course we've got some ramen hacks and because you guys didn't really say specifically which hack out of the two main ones that are going around right now the cupe mayo and egg hack versus the garlic soy sauce butter everything bagel hack i figured we'd do them both because i love me some ramen and why not for the latter of the two the everything bagel ramen hack grab some soy sauce and everything bagel seasoning crushed red pepper flakes and butter ramen noodles and some brown sugar garlic and egg and scallions usually tik tok recipes go viral for one of two reasons either it's genuinely delicious and easy and then everybody who makes it can attest to that notion or it's ridiculous and out of the ordinary something that might be gimmicky and i feel like this recipe kind of falls in the middle a lot of the comments were mocking the everything seasoning and i wasn't entirely sure why outside of the poppy seeds you've got sesame seeds garlic granules some onion and then like salt pepper and a few other things so it's not like that is going to make or break the dish not to mention the sauce that these noodles are going in are like one mirin or sake shot away from being rie's tabasaki chicken wings and y'all know how i feel about those that's like one of the best recipes i've ever made the reduced butter and garlic soy sauce and brown sugar is pretty much identical to how that recipe comes together so i'm willing to put all my cards on the table now and say that this is gonna be delicious but i have put my foot in my mouth before i mean i thought i was gonna get that damn chocolate ball at least one of my first 30 times and we remember how that turned out this dish though is getting finished off with the bagel seasoning as well as some of our sliced up scallions and we can try the first of today's two tick tock ramen hacks if there was an option to just patrick star this entire plate and inhale this whole thing at once i would do it yeah this is delicious i love ramen uh and this is honestly one of the best ones i've had i love the sweet the salty my only complaint is i overcooked it by like a minute or two ramen most ramens are pre-cooked already you're just like rehydrating them so i'd say the second the noodles start to come apart in the water like take them out and then just finish them in the sauce also if you're excluding or barely putting any of the chili flakes in cut the sugar way down too because they're very intense but they balance each other it might be a little too sweet without the pepper this is like top three tik tok recipes i've ever made i think or i just love ramen for the second ramen hack we've got an interesting one it is not difficult or labor intensive by any means but it's definitely not something i would ever think to do on my own a court i grab some ramen and an egg garlic and cupid mayo this one might just test how much i love ramen i love all of these ingredients individually together uncooked is going to be interesting you've got to cook your noodles in some boiling water and reserve some of that pasta water chop up a clove of garlic and then mix it all together in a bowl with the noodles and eat it i know in a lot of other countries raw eggs are not really a problem you don't even really refrigerate eggs in a lot of other countries but the factory farm unsanitary conditions pasteurization stuff we got going on in the us it's not exactly common to eat raw eggs at least it gets tempered maybe a touch with that tablespoon of pasta water but outside of that this thing is going in raw and what you see is what you get this is the second ramen hack of the day it almost looks like mac and cheese from the bottom cause it's just so thick and uh very saucy i don't love it i don't love it and i don't know if that has to do with me knowing there's a very large raw egg in here maybe somebody made me this and handed me it i would be able to think of it differently but i also don't love how intensely rich this is i feel like the best part about ramen is how kind of like savory but also like salty very umami quality this is more along the lines of like a thick rich kind of dairy sauce and a lot of the flavor would vary based on what brand of ramen you're using that flavor packet i also don't really love seeing those like raw egg yolky bubbles um in between each noodle when you pick it up it's a little off-putting after a whole eight minutes of going on about how much i love ramen um it's just okay i would eat it if i was hungry but it would not be my first second or third choice for ramen dishes last and maybe most likely least is the two ingredient ice cream bread this recipe is spreading like wildfire on tick tock and to make it you will need some self-rising flour and a pint of your favorite ice cream now when you guys first started sending this i thought it looked pretty familiar and it turns out it's because i have done this recipe already in fact it was one of the first ever recipes i ever tested on this channel it was well over five years ago except back then i was using an entire carton of ice cream to make a full bundt cake i threw some sprinkles in there they were calling it a cake because the end texture is much more similar to one and also i had a lot better skin and was a little less pudgy at least my hairline's always been clapped since i was a teenager for this iteration though you have to mix one and a half cups of the self-rising flour with a pint of the very melty ice cream stick it in the smallest bread pan you can find and then bake it at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes i remember the last one being just okay it wasn't inedible but it wasn't very good either this one smells delicious it smells very chocolatey so let's see how it stacks up i don't know of any bread that looks like this really the crumb is super tight i feel like it kind of looks like something that's stuck in between a cake and a bread this is not good guys there's just no other way to say it it's incredibly drying it dries your whole mouth out it is very bland and flavorless you get the most faint little chocolate taste at the end it actually smells a lot more delicious and chocolatey than it tastes even a little bit of salt in this or like just a splash of vanilla or anything that would help the flavor of this would go a long way maybe there's some other ice cream brands out there that would result in a little bit better of a texture but unless you have all the stuff on hand already and you are incredibly bored i cannot recommend that you waste your time on this it's cool in theory but not so much in practice i hope you guys enjoyed today's video if you did leave me a big old like thank you again to mizin for making this one possible let me know on my instagram or down in the comments what you'd like to see me make most next week and other than that have a fantastic weekend and i'll see you right back here next time [Music] peace [Music] i wasn't wavy but we had a vision
