what up you guys today we are back at it again with another Adam Sandler film this is one that I feel like gets forgotten about a lot this is I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry so what I know about this movie from I guess like the basic synopsis is I think they might pretend to be gay and I think they might be firefighters that's really all I know hey you're on to something there uh yeah no this movie I'm not going to say anything more than that because I want it to be fresh to Casey but Kevin James and Adam sand in this movie I thought were like a really fun pair I feel like you'll see that that a lot of his movies have has a little bit of a like a a deeper message throughout meaning deeper message and more emotional depth sprink like especially you know you had like him with his wife and like moving on which that was a plot point that I said kind of during it I wish it was expanded a little bit more it was barely touched on but not everything can be click yeah not everything can be click yeah I mean I feel like obviously we haven't seen all of his drama performances in terms of Adam Sandler but you know click was something that we just recently watched it was something that we both watched when we were younger and you know it kind of gave us like a big impact rewatching it now as adults this movie still had some emotional depth not as deep as I would say like click or it didn't put you in the feels as bad as click cuz like we were just like uncontrollable messes Casey more so than me but it still got me crying a little bit I'm not going to lie but this movie I thought was still really funny while still balancing that like uh that sentimental there's like the relationship between him and his best friend there's the relationship that he had between him and his wife even though like I said that was touched on but it wasn't really like you know we didn't see the wife we didn't have that emotional connection and we were just left to infer like obviously he loved his wife he had a hard time moving on that's why he skipped I guess like the year period of which he could like change his benefits and whatnot and that's why you know the whole plot of this movie progressed is he had to get Adam Sandler to marry him it also it was like kind of like a feel-good ending type movie you know like but also the characters kind of learned and grew throughout like they kind of started off like H we'll just do it and whatever and like cheat the system but then they kind of like saw how they were affecting other people how they saw them and then also realizing like okay we are living like a lie here but then it kind of came back around in term that it was like well the reason they had to even do it in the first place was because of the system you know what's funny I keep going back to the whole dynamic between uh Jessica beel and Adam Sandler in this movie who's really at fault you know Adam Sandler even though he considered himself a man [ __ ] that's what he said he was but he was I think using a little restraint even though he was being a little scandalous but he wasn't actually married to him you know so it's kind of like a weird situation I put it more on the lawyer I put it more on Jessica beel I feel like she was definitely being very unprofessional and almost like maybe like abusing the client like lawyer relationship but then again he also was being deceitful because she thought he didn't see her like that too so it's like which lie is worse that's a debate for another like another video not for us someone else could debate that but you know we're just taking it in as a movie here I think there's fault on both sides but that's neither here nor there I still thought this was a hilarious movie a solid Edition that doesn't get talked about as much in like the Adam Sandler uh catalog all right y'all well thank you so much for watching and we'll see you next [Music] time
