I Newport Beach metal detecting day two 

all right we're back down here again I'm gonna try a little experiment I came to the same Beach and you know how we had big waves I'm gonna see if I can get Targets in the same spot as I did yesterday the waves are still big if not bigger I should probably be going to a different Beach actually but I'll try here and if it's nothing here I'll just go to another Beach wow you saw an amazing wave down there [Music] so last night the tide came up pretty high I don't know if you can see it yeah you can see the sideline it's right there if not maybe we'll just go down that way we don't have to go to another Beach we'll just walk down and do other other Beach because the waves are huge over there so those those beaches might be actually good but here's where we were yesterday and and it looks about the same that's okay let's see if there's new targets I'll turn around when I get my first Target I'll try not to take so many pictures of waves actually looks like more sand moved in if anything oh that's okay we'll go down that way if I made a mistake here oh they're warmed up here right I'm turning off the camera all right I did all day on the beach here and there's no no targets two Targets in fact there isn't any Targets so I'm gonna go ahead and walk back down that way and we'll pop over the next Jetty in the next one let's go for a long long hunt check all the goodies I could get out that way but I'm scared I might not find anything then I got a long walk back because I did all the way down there yesterday so and I'm not getting any Target super soft I'll check a little more this way and then that's it we're going down down there to find some targets I only got a couple hours though Tides changes and just starts going up anyways I was hoping I'd catch a wave actually right now for you guys some of you guys probably don't even microwaves I don't know foreign [Music] thank you dude I got you on camera on that last one you did that was pretty cool yeah just smoke yeah it'll be on YouTube that was so gnarly all right that guy wanted to watch the clip of him wiping out right at the end of that wave but we got we had a signal here when he walked up probably dime so I'm still so there is targets here still and I hit this place yesterday [Music] yeah is it I'm all right we'll take it I'll go ahead and search a little more here now this is right where the targets were mainly anyways so we'll check it so yeah we're definitely hitting targets here Doug uh Target now I'm digging another one this one might be gone nope don't try to take him out foreign more than likely kind of small anyway get back at it all right I think we got another dime so there's plenty of targets down here I thought I didn't turn around when they said I was gonna [Music] there's a small enough pile I should be able to find it and there's another dime keep going I think we mostly found dimes yesterday and when I did the wrap up I had two foreign coins I forgot to show I get to talking and see a butterfly or something and start talking about something else all right keep going I always hope to get a shot of a wave can be yeah yesterday when I was leaving right here a bunch of dolphins came through just swimming on the inside of the Surfers catching waves and I was walking out so I was kind of far away so I didn't turn my camera on probably should have but let's get back at it not a very good sound I don't know why we should hunt no I don't think we do have it weird a whole bunch of black sand right in the sand here [Music] the realities of metal detecting nothing as usual foreign we're back on the coins I've dug I came over a whole jetty plus one the two Jetties basically see they go Jetty by Jetty by jetty anyways I'm digging one right here right down oh and that sounds like a quarter [Music] and it is a quarter all right I like quarters well I was about ready to give up and I started finding coins again so just never give up that's the that's the question of the day I mean the answer of the day so they're saying you're playing even when you're winning you're losing don't give up you don't want to give up because you're winning you don't want to give up because you're losing anyways everything in moderation so that's a no wave right now there's been some there is bigger waves down here so you'll probably see him a stop and tape away everywhere I'm taping the waves more than I'm taping me digging in the sand all right let's keep going all right this one sounds so nice another water makes me think it's a silver ring but it's probably just a quarter there's a big old sand crab right there yeah all right let's see why this signal is so high actually it just sounds like a quarter now penny to probably a magnet do you have anything I think yeah yeah maybe it's a washer or something I don't know but it rang up high I don't know why must be made out of good metal whatever never had a washer ramp a quarter bar all right back at it all right walk back down and got a [Music] 11 12. uh I got it so here now it's just ringing like a nickel I thought we had a ring in there for a minute ah it's just trash I haven't been finding much trash all right let's get back to it right there where I was standing been really tough digging today tired [Laughter] and I have a feeling anyway here comes some waves see if they come over to this side yeah they're not gonna be able to catch that yeah you're gonna make it over alrighty we made it home and it's time for the wrap up now I thought I'd dug a lot more change in this I'm gonna go check my bag see if it has a hole in it probably not uh four quarters five dimes three nickels this one looks pretty old actually I should probably check the date on it uh five pennies then we got all this junk here like a shotgun head a screw there's a brass grip you know above but uh wire just your typical stuff off the beach even a lighter then I saw this piece and I go oh a nice little black piece here so I went and grabbed my test kit scratched it right there you can see it's still wet and it's not silver but it looks like silver I'll probably test it again just to make sure and then yesterday I forgot to show you I think I forgot to show the Canadian coin and then this one which I don't even know what it is I have no idea so that's a random coin I'll throw it in with my foreign coins though it doesn't look like anything well let's do a quick Garden run through our weed we remember we're gonna let that grow there for the bees and stuff um our raspberry got eaten I don't know why it died um or bush beans they're doing good I guess I don't know I can't really tell it just seems like they're growing slow to me our spaghetti squash starting to come around now that I've been killing those pincher bugs everything seems to do better uh these are our Yukon Gold potatoes and these plants are starting to like fall over and stuff and that's when you're supposed to be able to pick them so maybe Yukon Gold is going to be picked before those ones over there those are just golden potatoes um they say once the plants fall over and act like they're dying that's when you pick them well you dig them out of the ground uh the pond we now have poliwogs in our pond obviously you guys saw that video but we had two in there anyways I don't know if they're surviving or not sometimes I see them sometimes I don't um our milkweed it's doing okay I planted them over there too all along there these things sunflowers are getting so big they're just shading everything all the carrots see the carrots are down there they're getting shaded by these things they're just huge uh I don't think there's a flower yet I'll look on the video and see um there's our first Marigold off these I have these planted these got huge uh I got them planted here there there's my second one there's another one there and there and then there's a couple back behind these tomatoes which you might want to see these tomatoes they're doing pretty darn good it's all the same plant right here all these tomatoes there's even new ones coming in up here they're there uh that's all one plant and these are supposed to be medium-sized Tomatoes like this size so that plant there is also curling up leaves not as bad as this one but it just started getting lots of flowers and uh like getting ready to tomatoes this one has little flowers on it it's a club poblano peppers and then uh our bell peppers are just doing horrible I think the pincher bugs just ate them up they're not doing good amazing strawberry plant busting out the strawberries here um we had our little war with the pincher bugs on this this is what started the war they were eating these and they finally got them to go look those ones all got eaten and now they're just coming back look at all those I didn't replant them these are just the ones that made it survived over here there's the bigger ones that were from the first batch that I planted uh these potatoes are doing great I don't I feel like cutting that board right there so they can get air through the bottom my plan was to build up the dirt as they grow that just did not work out uh cherry tomatoes we got two plants here look at the size of the all my plants are like that though um the St the main stem is just huge when you go to the bottom of the plant it's not that huge but these are going to have like lots of tomatoes I mean all these have tomatoes there's Tomatoes here and these are just like oh those are going to be tomatoes there's gonna be a lot of a lot of tomatoes in them there's already a bunch inside actual tomatoes um yeah I don't know if you can see down in there tomatoes I could see a ripe one right down in there see if we can get it that's not there it is ah gotcha I think that's what color they are because I ate one two of them so far and they're really tasty um yeah over here is just more carrots and more of these big old sunflowers get a better look at them here no flour yet and then we got a we just threw that in there pineapple and then strawberries again for days it I've been picking them and stuff and the bugs are still getting them but there's just more coming more coming look at all those those are all going to be strawberries huh uh is that ready for the garden oh I took some of my some of this um I took some of that and I threw it over there by the one that's the curly leaves and the one next to it I made the dirt level even much higher because I was thinking you know what you know compost is supposed to be good for it so it's like fertilizing it so it's got a good I took a lot out of there here's some clippings we clipped off the tomato plants and they're growing this one's even getting tomatoes I should probably transplant that one and just grow it um yeah because I heard you can take clippings off your plants and just stick them in the ground they'll grow and it's true but yeah I got a feeling we're gonna have a lot of tomatoes right in here I hope my thing can hold it all my trellis anyways that was a little longer than I was thinking uh I'm probably forgetting something I've transplanted this I had this forever finally transplanted it that's new found some new ones in there uh that's about it yeah it's uh haven't been really paying attention to the Garden past couple days just watering all right I'll see you guys in the next one we also have a hummingbird feeder and Coral Coral Coral really nice pieces I'll see you guys in the next one hopefully we'll find some gold in our next video the waves are huge right now all right I'll end it
