when i first got into real estate nearly four years ago i didn't know what the future held i was stressed out i was nearly 40 years old i just went through a health scare my first business was failing i felt like i was letting my family down you know i remember at that time feeling a sense of urgency to try new things to push myself i needed to grow that meant getting uncomfortable teaching myself how to shoot and edit videos how to be in front of a camera and then making sure that the people in my market actually saw those videos and trusting that all of this would actually help the homes sell the hard work would pay off it has in a short period of time we've helped so many people buy and sell their homes we've had more success than i ever imagined possible and i owe a huge thanks to all of you who supported encouraged and inspired us i still have so much to learn and i still feel that urgency so once again it's time to grow for the last nine months i've been working with a few others on something big something that will not just change my business but the businesses and futures of so many others across canada and the world it's an idea a belief that the brokerage and the agent are partners that no brand is bigger than you and that you deserve a fairer piece of the pie it's a model that gives agents access to the tools technology and financial opportunities that they need to be successful no monthly fees industry-leading split mentorship and education this model's lowest cap and a share in the revenue that the company generates and equity ownership in the brokerage that you help build it's called real broker publicly traded on the nasdaq in over 30 states and now it's finally launched in canada for me it's the people that this company attracts people who value working hard and being kind that no agent should be left behind a culture of collaboration that if we all share our value we all win together i'm humbled and amazed to see the quality of the people that are signing up in our market some of those agents joining our team ready to leave behind everything that they've known for the opportunity to build something better to grow this model the right way already this path has taken me places i've never been and given me an opportunity to meet some great people i know it won't be easy nothing great ever is we're just getting started and no it's not the world's best brokerage yet but with the right model for agents the right people with the right values we might just build it to be so maybe you're like i was considering a change looking for a better deal or a bigger opportunity a cloud-based model with people that you fit in with there's a bunch of us now that have grouped together to do this thing the right way with the right people maybe it's your time to grow if so let's build this thing
