what is going on guys welcome back to the channel so as you guys know i've been talking for a while now that every 50 000 subs over a million that we were gonna pick someone's car and do some modifications to well we had a million and fifty thousand subscribers and i wanna say thank you guys first off for letting me hit a million fifty thousand so fast how did we get there so quick feels like literally just yesterday we were at a million but anyways i want to give a huge shout out to logan o'connor um we actually hosted an instagram post contest type of thing on instagram where i let you guys comment and tag to friends but anyways long story short logan has been a really long time fan he's been following me attacking me in post and i've seen them for over two years now he came out was my weekend project i didn't know that it was facing this way well i mean we already talked about it i didn't know i just didn't have the mental image this is cool i'm not trying to set any records i just want to have a fun street car yeah that's plenty fun for texas 2k the when do you get boost on this thing like 4 500. it'll spool pretty quick being that it's a t6 and they're merged together because it doesn't look like that big of a turbo now that it's in the car yeah it looked big when it's off the car yeah it's like yeah okay that's not bad what's going on guys welcome back to the channel today i'm on my way right now to sean's shop because doug's got his car over there and apparently while i've been gone he got some stuff done to his car and today we're about to start it up for the first time and i can't wait to show you guys because it is pretty freaking crazy so as you guys all hopefully probably know by now i've been gone for about a month and i've been filming for a tv show out of town so i've been gone for a good bit i just got back probably a week and a half ago now and uh anyways i've been taking care of a bunch of stuff but in the meantime that i was gone doug managed to turbo his car so if you guys remember from the time that doug has pretty much been on this channel he's always had a really fast roush mustang it's always been in a roush mustang or on nitrous depending on how he's feeling or who he's running or whatever so if you guys have seen pretty much since the start of this channel i'm in the shop truck by the way but anyway since the start of the channel doug has had his roush and he has pretty much only had it in a or on nitrous for the longest time and what's funny is that you guys have probably seen this turbo kit on a shelf but doug's had a turbo kit for the car for probably two years and i've been hearing that he was gonna put it on and this and that and whatever but he never did so i kind of just gave up on it we started making fun of him a little bit laughing about it occasionally and whatever well it turns out that i leave for a month and come back and doug's car has an 88 millimeter turbo hanging off the front of it so we are about to go over there because he has a base file to get it started for the first time ever on its new turbo setup and so i'm going over there to sean's shop right now to go check the car out let you guys see everything that he's been doing and hopefully we'll get a first start of the car see everything that happens load it up in a trailer take it to my shop and they're putting it on a dyno today because he's getting ready to start tuning it and uh hopefully by the end of this video we'll have a running driving tuned turbo car and we're gonna find out what it makes this is gonna be pretty exciting so hope you guys are ready i haven't even gotten to see doug's car when since everything has been finished i only got to see it whenever the turbo and the manifolds were bolted up but nothing was done or powder coated or anything so this is going to be pretty cool to see i'm pretty excited i don't know why i'm so excited well actually i do know why i'm so excited doug has really truly busted his ass for me a lot and he has paid well of course but that only goes so far i mean he really does do a lot so it's cool to be able to see him fulfill his own race car dreams and have his own freaky turbo car and i don't know i just feel super accomplished for him just in the fact that he has gotten to get to this point finally it makes my heart warm it's just cool to see everybody else around you come up too you know what sean kind of made me mad lately i'm gonna just do some dhonies real quick there we go thank you sean nice little early morning dhoni in the s10 baby hello wazzam fam what'd you bring here s-10 oh you didn't hear me do a donut out there no i didn't heard somebody pull up i was like [Music] so before i even show you guys anything first off understand that doug literally has been up for like 40 hours or something like that to get this car done yeah i think it's longer than that now it's been up for a good while but here it is this thing is going to be awesome so i know i already know a bunch about it but you know you have to talk to the camera about everything that's done to it because nobody has any idea and i don't even really know enough to tell anybody it's a gt 3076 uh baby turbo um right and it's a k24 right right right kind of like a somewhat of a kit but somewhat accustomed to it's a cg fab hot side t6 flange divided with an 80 96 on it um undisclosed amount of boost as currently the fuel system on it the custom ptfe 10 am feed wide block uh to 8am magnafuel regulator one to one all the 3an ptfe lines and everything um it's kind of custom uh intercooler side of everything here and then taylor fabbed up and uh at tits sick down pipe well technically a pipe now yeah there's a just a bunch of little knick-knack stuff that had to get moved around radiator hoses are you just going to take your hood off for the dyno that's what i'm going to have to do yeah yeah because i still don't have i hadn't had time to go get another one to cut the hole yet well it's not cutting this one yeah don't cut that one but yeah i'm going to get that stock one stock gt one yeah but for now we'll definitely take it off for the dyno so quick disclaimer too as you guys see this is a very massive turbo there's no way to deny that but one thing to mention is that this car is still in a stock motor so he's going to keep it safe today we're just trying to get it running driving and tuned it's not going for full max power anything today we're just trying to see what the car will do so whenever you see the numbers later on keep that in mind this car is capable of as much power as you would like to throw at it just remember it's a stock motor so doug does not have a built motor on hand for this car and we've seen the troubles of going with built motors so keeping that engine in the car is super important so we're gonna keep it pretty conservative today so that way at least he'll be able to drive it for a while yeah definitely i mean it's gonna be a ripper for the street it's not gonna be the fastest thing ever as of yet but maybe one day no i just i really like the mykolo ultra oh i went i went through a few of them last night i can imagine i can imagine yeah jesus cool catch can placement so he got a catch cannon on this side and obviously mirrored on the other side another catch can fuel regulator and doug did his own fuel system so it's all a custom system that he put together himself which is pretty neat as well same style as you guys have seen on the gt350 we've got a vacuum block over here which runs through all of his wastegates and everything nice boost controller solenoid down here it's actually came together pretty damn nice it's funny because no part of this kit really fit perfectly yeah i've been listening to doug tell me about every single thing that he's been fabbing including this fan shroud which is kind of neat so if you notice this fan shroud right here is actually not a stock fan shroud it's actually multiple layers of aluminum it's hard to see but oh of 10. actually a coated tin six layers of coated 26 gauge tin yeah welcome to rustin where that's all you can find yeah so he made his own custom radiator shroud and fan shroud out of tin and riveted it all together if you guys can see the rivets there so that's how that is thick like that coated it with a gasket and now it's all set in place and looks pretty dang nice for a custom piece yeah i dig it i think it'll work great the fact that it's a true shroud and not just a you know fans mounted with someone as it ties through the radiator which works as well sometimes it does work but it doesn't really pull a vacuum on the entirety yeah of the radiator so having a true shroud was like one thing i was like i i just need to build it yeah i do like this too so this catch can has like a drain or not a drain a dipstick on it so you can actually pull this out and see what level the oil is at and if you need to change it or whatever before you pull the entire bottom off so that's pretty neat so it's just wild every year the doug has gone to texas 2k and pissed people off in this car because it's just literally an in a roush so people thought that it was supercharged or whatever and then he pops the hood and it's just naturally aspirated and now this time he's going to go out there it's gonna be a little harder to hide yeah i might uh put like a little cover plate or something it's even tear dropped as well as you guys can see taylor did a real good job on that so taylor is the guy that coyote swapped the camaro and uh he also did a lot of the stuff on meep and he's done a lot of stuff for us so he even did the custom headers on the 67 and everything amazing bad guy but anyways that is doug's car that is the build that he has been working on for the last few weeks and like we were saying on the way over here doug's waiting on a base map right now from lund and once we get the base map should be able to give this thing a start and see what happens well look who finally decided to look alrighty you are complete that's good yup ready to go i am you are ready to start your car turbo i'm very anxious right now this is pretty crazy i think i'm probably just as anxious as you are i'm pretty lit about it thought i'd see this day coming thanks we got all the cameras rolling because it's been a very important day doug is actually about to try to start his car tow board for the first time turbo dog has a turbo car again you never even got to know turbo dog with a turbo car this is a whole different version of dog all right let's see if we can get prom so our body's actuating [Music] all right now we're gonna go for a start there it is there it is [Music] that is actually surprisingly tame it's super lean right now is it it's having to learn [Music] so this is just a base map which explains why it's running a little bit rough you guys can hear it's a little quiet have an idle issue a little bit lean but no big deal that is crazy congratulations dude hell yeah power temps and fluid and everything doing good right now yeah a little one i wonder if it's because they're file or not a little bit of marble mister oil into the tank along with some seat foam they're gonna try and get that injector to clear up because it's definitely that injector we have a feeling these are actually the old uh gt350s injectors and also fuel pumps that doug used in this car we made 1100 wheel on well no we made a thousand wheel um on these injectors and fuel pumps so he should be fine so anyways if that doesn't fix it we'll be able to pop that injector i'll probably pulse it uh since the power to it get it to open up and spray it out with spray clean it shouldn't be a problem though but right now it's misfiring because of that injector yeah it's barely barely barely there but it's cleared up a lot doug just used atf and c foam and boarded in the gas tank literally just kept revving a little bit and finally it cleared up sounds good now no misfire it's just barely barely ever so slightly there now yeah barely i'll be honest that's probably one of the meanest coyote cars i've heard in a minute that thing sounds pissed it all looks good these fans just now came on we saw and it's nice because this radiator shower is working we're able to put our hand right here and feel that it is definitely pulling air past the entire radiator pretty easily because branch out's working the turbo kit's working great pulling lines no leaks everything looks better yes sir successful start all right so doug is about to load up his car and sean's trailer here and they're about to trailer it over to the shop i'm gonna head back to the shop to go get everything set up and ready and i think we're about to dyno this thing hopefully it works out pretty well this injector is sticking for some reason pretty sure it's just because we left it sitting on the shelf for so long about to say come on though s10 don't do it don't fail me depending on if we can get that injector cleaned up and we don't have any more misfires we should be able to dyno his car today i'm gonna head back to the shop get everything set up hey there's something good about that turbo damn sign you'll know how to drive a stick i used to duck hello yes sir damn he finally put it on yep it's been sitting up for so long i know we were talking today it's been over two years yeah he's had this car's here so we're about to get it loaded up on the dyno here in a second and see what it'll do did uh the injector ever get unstuck or still not completely no well look look here it is seeing him drive that cord that fast a wild dog we ain't got some lucas additives so that way we can pour it in the tank and hopefully free up that injector because it definitely is still pitter pattering a little bit sean i promise i'm not hating but if you want to see how a single turbo car makes power come watch this real quick come on come over here so doug is running real quick to go grab some 93 for his car but one thing we do need to do real quick is put some plugs in his car because he's got stock plugs we don't have the right plugs in there so we're gonna pull off uh the gt350 pretty much take it apart get these plugs pulled because we've got to put our brisk plugs back in we took these out thinking that this was gonna be the issue that we were having with the gt350 also a lot of people have not gotten to really see the catch can too much come on buddy that is our new catch can so the catch can that we were having issues with previously we had two small ones up here in the very front they're just too small volume wise a lot of crankcase pressure needed a bigger catch can taylor fab that catch can up doug ran all the a-n lines to it it's tucked up in the battery box it looks absolutely sick but that was that i just wanted to show you guys that plugs that we got to pull out of here anyways to put our brisk plugs back in or the plugs that doug needs so we're gonna pull these out of here put them in his car and rock and roll with it howdy what's good mr flamingo pulling plugs out pulling and fittings off ah plug my bad this isn't a spark plug darnell it was a spark plug dude i never worked on cars before sorry about that neither it's okay i thought i was trying i'm just making it look like i know what i'm doing yeah same i thought i was changing spark plugs the whole time this is just like hilarious we were troubleshooting the gt350 trying to figure out why i was having problems it turned out that it was one wire and in the middle of us trying to troubleshoot it we pulled this the plugs out the brisk plugs that we went to to push over 1200 wheel or 1300 wheel whatever and put these old ones back in that we're having problems because we were trying to swap everything back to see if we could get it fixed and it turns out that it was a wire instead of the uh the plug so now we got to pull the plugs back out after we just put them in literally yesterday but whatever damn dude it'd be like that yeah no it regularly do indeed be that way don't forget guys make sure you've got a half inch impact on your spark plugs whenever you tighten them is this the content you guys have been wanting to see it's kevin working on a car anyway you almost did that i almost did it grazed my hair grazed below you got that big ass cushion on top of your head good thing i got that loaf up there boy dude i love meatloaf that's a pretty fairly burnt plug that's pretty clean we made literally almost 1300 horsepower to the wheel on that plug yesterday no what that one plug yeah this one plug the one plug made 13. would you do me a huge favor look at him dancing see you dancing he actually shut the door for once [Applause] i own a turbo roush down do you do you hear that pressure washer in there he shut the door and he's washing his hands it's because this car has him in a weird mood yeah i know he ain't slept and he's got a turbo car now he's watching hey guys did you know that this 5.2 liter ford powered voodoo is actually a flat plane crankshaft what's a crankshaft wow that's so neat so this is a mclaren basically pretty much i think i mean yeah it's just got a little bit bigger engine also twin turbo they both have a clutch i still dude that is one of the biggest pet peeves of mine recently my recent development pet peeve is everybody trying to tell me to twin turbo the mclaren yeah i want to punch some so many people in the face i'm just going to one day we should title a video like twin turboing the mclaren and everybody's like oh my god that's crazy and we're going to watch it and they're going gonna be like oh i will actually do it the whole video was like all right guys you ready for this install and you just look in the engine bay all right i'm gonna call it now that exhaust can make the car so nasty the internet's gonna go wild everybody gonna show their tits and then eventually videos are going to be profitable eventually gavin's going to swap turbos then we're going to call it twin turboing the mcleezy and then oh actually no twin turbo and mac miller because you know cert uh keywords and then after that bada boom you got a twin turbo that's a little insensitive just put mac miller in the title when the dude is not alive yeah we put a lot of people who's not alive in the title of videos example um um satan [Laughter] dear god that's fair you andrew doug you need help of course not he's a god he said only mentally oh well unfortunately you can only help yourself with that one verified the silence is deafening verified facts so this is the last plug that we're pulling out of the gt350 uh i'm gonna let doug put all the new plugs back in but right now we're not gonna worry about any of this so we're just gonna close all this up and uh pull the plugs back over to doug's car and get started putting them in his and hopefully get some dyno runs going yeah boy so right now doug is data logging his idling and also a few little revs and things like that to send over the line just for the initial drivability of the car and also just to make sure that it keeps running and make sure that everything's good all right first data log let's go that thing sounds good as from out here wow that's why i took my headphones off so i could listen to it it sounds good as out here holy so this is the first time that i've ever really gotten to hear a coyote and an s550 like this with a single turbo with a hood dog so it's a really unique different sound that i haven't heard before so that's kind of cool so part throttle barely getting into it made 250 to the wheel that's a pretty smooth nice curve though only part throttle but still it's nice to not see anything breaking up it sounds like once he gets into it that injector you can still hear it barely misfiring right now once you get into it it actually sounds like it clears up yeah i think that's just it right yeah all right so doug just now got a message back from the tuner he sent the data log off from the first time what we were just doing got a message back and it is time to go what not crazy but to 6 500. so what kind of boost are we trying to see today seven pounds maybe yeah you got some competition oh he's mad [Music] [Applause] we should build a civic one day you should definitely i was thinking about actually you know how we have like meep we've had beep and all that yeah we should get another car and call it cheap cheap and try to buy the cheapest of everything or we can make it work i'm down for it we're getting ready to go walk real quick so we're going to take the hood off just so you know in case some flames or any other goodness comes out doug hasn't cut the hole we're not going to actually cut a hole in this hood he's got another hood that he's going to pick up and he's going to cut a hole in that one so we're just going to take this one off until he gets the new wheel nice now you look like a real race car all right guys here we go doug's first ever wide open throttle pull on his new turbo car i like this look a lot better nothing has changed it just looks so much meaner with no hood on it made 517 to the wheel at 5500 rpm 570 to 500. i know whoa yeah hey i'm actually going to join i stopped a little short yeah i saw it ramping in kind of freaking out a little bit yeah but i'm i'm good with it now that i can see where it levels off okay so i'm actually making pull i'm gonna do it again i'm making pulling fourth gear from 3 000 all the way to 65 so you just wanted to give it a check just to make sure that it was working right but at 5500 it made 517 we're about to replicate that pool and run it all the way to 65 now we just wanted to verify that the gate springs were in fact about five to seven pounds which is at 6.1 and then levels out so we're good let's do it sounds good always sounds great this sounds really good soon my son soon it made sixth wealth at 6 500 rpm on only six pounds of boost that was only the first revision just to go watch oh my god jesus christ doug's about to get so much trouble when this thing's done yeah already doug you're about to outdo sean's ls dino record just saying with a stock bottom in coyote and no timing on a smaller turbo and no timing on a base map that's all i will say for all you ls nut huggers out there i'm just saying and it's on 93 and not even methanol 93 in transport yeah we're actually running this on atf today so so many people have been like what are the red wheels so speaking of just because i keep getting asked about this doug did have some wheels that were matched to the powder coating on the charge pipes and everything and that is what you guys saw previously yeah so check these out well i knew the wheels were i didn't know he got any tires yeah you got new tires you got that 555r so this car is actually going to be set up to do some work a little while back though a lot of people saw those wheels were like panicking because i didn't mention anything about them but they're for duck score something happened there only made a pound of boost so we think some line got popped off yeah check on that side i bet it's probably something oh yeah there it is oh the charge pipe that's why it flew off oh yeah that actually must have been what it was whenever i told you the radio or the uh moving around i bet you it was actually just that popping off yeah that would make sense all right feel solid let's send it again take two this is good at six pounds we made 617 wheel which is cool because you know now that right at about probably 5 500 rpm actually earlier than that damn that's an efficient ass turbo at 4 000 almost literally like fourth out no about 4 300 you can see it literally skyrockets 600 and about 610 and it literally holds it all the way over that is a power band there son did you see it literally it's at at 4 000 it hits and holds flat that's lighting that thing up very nice well dad gum i did a good job the first time around i know not too bad it's like you've had some experience maybe just a little bit i don't know where it would have come from though all right guys we got the car tuned up to this point we're doing our last run now on pump guys he's going to see what it makes on six pounds on wastegate it's just incredible to see that this thing is making that much power on gate on only six pounds but it's a very large single next step after he gets done with this pull right here he's gonna pull the pump gas out of here and replace it with the 85 and then we're gonna turn it up a little bit more and that's when everything should get interesting i have a feeling that we're gonna be limited by fuel pump though in his car but we'll see that is on the money consistent literally 6.25 pounds 6.24 pounds so we're it's literally perfect as far as boost goes power is just perfect 618 617 so it's right on the dot that's not bad for six pounds of boost now it's time to turn it up a little bit that's pretty solid for six pounds man yeah it's real serious i mean that's like bottom yeah bottom i don't know so that's about what you were probably making on spray huh give or take probably yeah so dark's car on nitrous is now his wastegate setting what the next up we're pulling fuel out swapping some ian yeah yes it is it is coming out yeah fuel be kind of warm twin pumps always running is a that's kind of going to heat soak that's why i was going to originally just do one on one secondary we already found out what happens whenever you try to do that until with the hob so stay tuned for ams updates on the 350. you'll understand what we mean all right guys we got all the 93 out of doug's car it is still in the dyno i just i don't even know what to say that's pretty impressive 618 wheel horsepower on six pounds of boost on pump gas on stock gt350 fuel pumps that's just absolutely wild but whenever we come back um probably today's friday so on monday whenever we get back up here we're going to be dynaming this car on 85 which is where it's going to be really cool to see because we're going to come off wastegate and make a little bit more than six pounds plus the 85 is much more efficient makes a lot more power on the same boost so it's going to be very cool to
