I JUST BOUGHT THE BEST BARGAIN IN FRANCE... YOU WON'T BELIEVE THE PRICE

welcome back to episode 4 of The Daily Vlogs today it's another special one because I have bought something that I'm very very excited about uh in fact I've been looking for quite a while for this particular object and I finally found it so I'm on my way to pick it up now you're going to have to wait and see what it is and then we're going to be stopping off on the way back and seeing someone who's very close to my heart stay tuned with a wink and a swi he roams through the miles in search of a find that can charm is a quest through France for that chance to hold a French bargain [Music] oh young Ryan he strides under bright gentle Skies through markets and Vineyards he RS with laughter he haggles for Trinkets and Rambles a treasure to call his own home [Music] I can't believe it I've bagged myself an absolute bargain just you wait until I get this out the car and you have a proper look at what I've got yes baby we're in we are in and the trusty Renault Grand scenix strikes again straight in the back no worries not a care in the world baby ah nothing beats the thrill of uh getting a nice old bargain at last he finds Grace in a qut market space his heart struck by wood war and War beheld in his gaze a desk of old days for young Ryan it rings with such charm hi Billy hello mate welcome to the convent welcome to the convent yeah so it's the everyone's gone home yeah where's where is where is where's the people well we work incredibly hard this morning so I said go home early oh that's a fantastic kind gesture of you Billy mhm we managed to clean up and yes it's looking fantastic but you've popped over and you wanted to show me something but it's not a reveal no because you can't actually see what it is in the back of the car yes it's a sneak peek because the viewers are going to find out at the end of the video so what I can see here is some beautiful Oak beautiful Oak Billy that is pure that's the purest Oak in all the land oh look at this that's very pure leather the purest leather and Oak in all the land it's got some age to it because it's all very well constructed yes age yes is very nice it's not um manufactured in India is it no it's not this is not it's not made in the people's Democratic Republic of China that's for sure well this is made somewhere else imitation these days no this is very nice this is The Real McCoy as they say and you know where it's originally from Billy where well you know what it is don't you yeah so where would it be from and no tears no England England all right yeah it has got an English look to it yes all right I was told from the the seller that this is originally from England and do you know does that make it more valuable what else no do you know what else is I'm surprised it's not broken cuz it's from England no but do you know what else is from England us us yeah so made in England made in yeah exactly I like it it's nice I look forward to seeing your video and you constructing it cuz then you'll get a good view of it but yeah nice R thank you so did you pay a lot of money I didn't pay a lot of money should I tell everyone you can save that for time you sure but it was it was it cheap cheap it was um I felt nauy and that's that's how cheap it was I felt naughty giving the money where are we going now Billy is this your secret little Lair it is but um you called me earlier with your dad yes I on video call and you asked about about something something so I want you to show it to me Billy show me what you've got well I've got four of them actually four of them oh there it is there's one of them you can't buy one of these cuz we need them okay so what we're talking about everyone is that that's right the tower the tower the scaffolding it's actually manufactured by a company called UTS which is in Kent in Canterbury yes that's correct so it's originally from the UK yeah uh but the company who sells it okay okay French scaffolding cost, and thousands of Euros yes and this is by far one of the best quality Towers I've ever owned and it's like less than half the price of what you'd buy in France oh really let's give a little Shameless plug to um the owner of the company so if you're in France and you need scaffolding go to scaffolding Towers france.com okay and the guy's named Tony I've met him briefly Tony will sort you out he's the nicest bloke you'll ever me yeah he's super duper nice and you know what I think I'm going to be contacting Tony because I want one of these because so this is an sorry to interrupt you but this is an 8 m Tower yes and it can go to 14 M twice that oh that's naed twice that Billy yeah I wouldn't want to be on it if it Billy that's as tall as the Eiffel Tower 14 M we could we could in fact I've got four of these we could surround the Eiffel Tower no no we won't surround it we could make our own Eiffel Tower scaffold that's a good idea and charge people to go up it yes just like the Eiffel Tower yeah and if you do end up contacting Tony and buying some scaffolding let him know that Ryan sent you you know can't hurt can it I need to go home and edit Ryan ah it's probably going to take me 2 hours I know the feeling I'm doing dailies too Billy do you know what the worst thing about demolition is yeah you get your camera dirty the camera is brown Brown oh no and it's not meant to be that's a nice camera Billy look at it it's very nice lovely well I'll see you later mate oh where you going home oh okay do you want to come with me yeah we could have a beer if you want yeah I'm trying to cut down a bit on the old alcohol but we have one together well we can have a Panache a nice refreshing panache well I'll see I'll see you at the chat [Applause] [Applause] okay no it's upside let me introduce you to my brand new purchase it's a desk and it's a beautiful desk at that if I dare say so my myself uh please ignore the mess in the corner that came from my car had to empty the car of course to fit the desk in I just can't get over how nice it is look at that beautiful leather top very very nice yeah I'm more than happy with this we'll get to the price in a little bit but I mean look it's got Ample Storage Space and look how deep these drawers are all the way the length of the desk oh there we go very nice very nice inde and the desk is originally from England uh as stated by the previous owner of this wonderful piece of treasure and the style is fitting with a UK desk back in the day obviously now everything is uh Ikea and flat pack but uh yeah not bad at all definitely going to outlast the flat pack stuff but I think we should get to the price of this wonderful item well € 520 divided by two is €260 now divide that by two again and you've got yourself €130 and that is what I paid for this desk €30 what a bargain now the fact that this cost me just €130 is a wonderful thing but there is a reason why I opted to buy this old desk versus a new one because first of all it has character it's Dro dead gorgeous is it not um but mostly it's a Sound Investment as well look I paid 130 for this they wanted $60 it was online for sale for around3 months and it didn't sell obviously I saw it and straight away I offered 120 and they said 130 and it's yours and I said yes please I'll have some of that but it just goes to show you uh the reason why it didn't sell for 3 months is cuz the photos were really bad and blurry so take good photos if you're selling something cuz even even if you put it cheap a bad photo you no one's going to want to buy it so yeah that makes sense but it also does show that even in this day and age you can still get a right good bargain here in Jolly Old France now you might be thinking Ryan why don't you take your desk inside well uh slight HIC up and something I didn't really think about is uh it's too heavy even though it comes in three parts it's every single part is really heavy so I'm going to need help and my dad is currently taking a nap so I'm not going to wake him up just to help me carry this desk and if it started to rain I'll just put a sheet over it or something a waterproof sheet of course but he is going to eventually wake up and uh then we'll get it upstairs but I think it's going to be a little bit late so I won't be able to show you the desk in place uh until another time so yeah I think that's going to be all from me hope
