I Gave This Veteran $10k and TRANSFORMED His Entire Yard for FREE - Overgrown Yard Cleanup

I've got 10 grand 10 grand I'm gonna be giving to this guy you remember who I am yep I want to stop back by I got two things for you go ahead so first one I want to see if I take care of your backyard for you I've got a lot of brush back there the second thing is remember that video I took of your front yard well a lot of people saw it a lot of my followers really liked your story and a lot of yes no doubt I can finally breathe YouTube for all and all the pictures oh did this the day he came initially he handed me 20 right out of his wall because I didn't have it I mean not a penny to my name nothing but that just blew me away because he didn't know me from Jack Adam he says here and that humbled me I said wait a minute this man does not know me at all and he hand me twenty dollars and I said wow you are you are what America's about and I mean this is what we're supposed to help each other out whenever we can and that's what made this country so great because you too I mean both you you folks of God sends to me thank you hey everyone my name is Spencer with SP Mowing and I just had one of the best days of my life and I can't wait to tell you about it a few weeks ago I was driving past this house with my wife and we just saw how overgrown the edges were and how overgrown the lawn was so I knocked on the door and I asked the man if I could take care of it for free for him the front yard took me all day so I couldn't quite get to the backyard but he was so appreciative of it we got talking quite a bit afterwards because I love hearing everyone's stories and where they come from it turns out this man is a veteran he spent nine years in the Army and did three different tours and the reason that he can't keep up on the yard by himself is because he's had two heart attacks and three Strokes after I posted that initial video so many people fell in love with the story and wanted to donate to help him out so I started a GoFundMe and I said I matched the first 500 that people donated and it went super viral and I think after the first day we raised about six thousand dollars after a few days it got to ten thousand dollars and I wanted to get back there to transform his backyard and give him the money he was absolutely blown away by this and was so appreciative as you guys just saw one of the the really cool thing that happened is that two local news stations caught one of this story and really wanted to cover it so they came and did some interviews with us and they just aired it last night and I'm glad they came because when they interviewed this man I got to learn a lot more about him than what I already knew he hadn't been living with utilities for the last three months so the first thing he did when he got the money is he went and got them all turned back on he's also going to get his back door and some of the windows fixed up and he's also going to be able to eat he told me that the first day I knocked on his door he hadn't eaten a good meal for two days so I'm so happy I was able to do this work for him and just clean the yard up and get this support going for him just to get him back on his feet I hope you guys enjoyed this would require me to actually take the brick patio out and I don't want to be tearing that out it's going to take me days and really the point of this was just to get them a really nice usable space um we're gonna go around and grab his trash can and roll it back here because there's a bunch of trash we're gonna pick it all up for them I'm gonna go over the lawn one more time off camera uh just so it looks real nice for him I'm gonna go over the front form real quick as well just make sure it's good for the season he doesn't have to worry about it anymore so we're gonna go get his reaction to the back patio he has not seen it yet he saw the the rest of the backyard that I did yesterday but he is not seeing what this looks like and it is completely different beforehand you could barely see the brick and now it's all uncovered there was a ton of dirt and I just hope he likes it we'll see all right let's do it all right you wanna come check it out I don't recognize this backyard at all
