[Music] foreign for one bedroom flat in the city of London today is around 1 900 pounds and if you're someone that earning a slightly higher than average salary in London up let's say around 53 000 then the rent is going to be more than half of your income if you're moving out from city of London to the Inner Circle of London then the rent on average is around 1 500 pounds for a one bedroom flat it is cheaper but still remember that you still have to pay for other bills such as your utility bills your phone bill your commute and what have you so on 53 000 income you might still be struggling and that's why in this video today ladies and gents I am introducing you outer London the rent in these areas are still pretty affordable and these areas still offer great transport links to Central London so if you're looking for somewhere that is quite reasonable in price and still offer great accessibility to city of London then you might want to to consider one of these areas with that being said let's check out the first place [Music] with the average one bedroom rent comes just under 1 000 pounds and plenty of green spaces Saturn is highly attractive residential area for young parents working in central London and it's got its own town center with excellent schools it's also got a really good rail connections from the borough run through to London Victoria London Bridge scent pancreas and Clapham Junction it's definitely got a lot to offer for the price that you pay the only thing I'll say about Sutton or all of these places that I'll be mentioning in the video today is that to take to consideration where you'll be working and commuting to because although Saturn for example has frequent train to London Victoria the train to faringdon is once every 30 minutes which is essentially why I moved foreign [Music] area of London and as you can see it's pretty well populated and it's gonna link you to one of the main busy airports in London which is Gatwick Airport if you wonder how much you have to pay to live in these areas I think the average price for one bedroom will be around 1200 pounds and by the way in this video I'll be giving you average prices for one bedroom across the entire video so that we don't get confused stratum is extremely well connected to Central London there are three train stations that connect you to Central London streatham Hill streatham and streatham common streatham Hill takes you to London Victoria in 17 minutes and streatham common has a service to both London Victoria and London Bridge you'll be spoiled of choices here too in terms of Hangouts whether that be morning coffee Lebanese lunches Donuts or dessert you name it Stratham has it all next up we have Bexley which assists next to Greenwich and Bromley and according to transport of London this area is situated in London zone six with a rent of around 800 pounds up to 900 pounds for a one bedroom flat this makes this area one of the cheapest place to rent in London and because of that it is increasingly becoming one of the most popular place for people to move to the area has around 100 Parks but not only that it is one of the top boroughs in London that ranks at the top in terms of renewable energy consumption and therefore we can safely say that Bexley is a pretty green place to live next one we have Ealing which is located in West London Ealing offers leafy comfy and laid back sort of life in the middle of London you're never too far for a coffee house or restaurant so there are loads of options in terms of socializing healing also is pretty close to the M4 so it is a bonus if you need to commute now the thing about healing is because it's got so many good things about it and is also located in London Zone 3 and with that in mind the price is not as cheap on average the rent for one bedroom Flats in Ealing you're looking at north of 1400 pounds so it's probably one of the most expensive ones that we'll be covering today however if you have a little bit of give in the budget you might want to consider it I wasn't too sure if it was a good idea to include this one but here we are I'm just gonna do it Croydon [Music] I know what you're thinking just hear me out Croydon historically has has a reputation of being a dangerous place with high crime rates but if you look at the current statistics Croydon is actually not at the top of the list Croydon as a borough has a very rich in history it started as a small village of 48 inhabitants but has blossomed into the town it is today Croydon is a vibrant area and offers great selection of shops restaurants transport links and Leisure facilities one of the coolest eateries in the area is box Park Croydon it has a large food court with many different Cuisines including of course lovely Thai food it is located in zone 5 and you'll be able to reach Central London in 15 minutes from East Croydon station and 30 minutes from West Croydon station there is also a croton tram link service which runs from Croydon Town Center all the way to Wimbledon which is pretty handy lewisham lewisham is located in the East area of London and the good thing about this area is that it's got a good selection of homes or apartments let's say throughout the area so you actually have a wide selection to choose from ranging between the pricier ones to lower price ones and the reason is because there has been some ongoing developments in the area in the recent years which means that more family-sized homes are being built on average for one bedroom flat you're probably looking to pay around 1 100 pounds one thing that you want to bear in mind is that lewisham perhaps have a bit of a reputation of not being a safe place with high crime rates kind of similar reputation to Croydon I suppose but per statistics is not listed as one of the top high crime rate in London but I thought I'll just put it out there just for you to bear in mind for your consideration the area next to lewisham is Bromley and you'll probably expect to pay similar rent there as well Bromley is the largest borough of our London boroughs and is this in the Southeast corner of greater London interest same thing about Bromley though in the recent year the towns has got a little bit of a makeover so the buildings and the Town Center itself actually looking quite nice and fresh which gives everyone a better and more enjoyable shopping experience when you visit the Town Center [Music] next up we have an area located in the northeast of London and it is walthamstow and fun fact when I was looking for a house to buy in 2020 I was actually considering moving to the area walthamstow is dubbed as one of the best UK places to live by the Sunday Times it's got a rich nightlife various cocktail bars and trending Hangouts in the area Waltham store has also become a prom destination for young musicals artists and designers in the recent times if you enjoy eateries and diversity and culture you probably enjoy weldoms though because you can pretty much find any world cuisines in this area and as expected because of all the reasons mentioned above this comes at a price and that's why in walthamstow you can expect to pay around 1300 pounds not too far from waldums though we have South Woodford which is the area that I particularly love so feel free to check it out as it may be for you as well and next we got Enfield it is located in London zone 5 and not only that the house prices and the rents are reasonable in Enfield it's got other bonuses such as being so close to M25 so if you fancy a beachy weekend to South and on sea then it will be quite convenient for you to do so if you want to commute to Central London Enfield town to Liverpool Street takes around 30 minutes and also from Enfield Chase to moorgate that takes you right around the same time as well well there you have it I hope this list gives you a good starting point to look at where you should move to next oh where should you be subtle when you move to London and that's it for me for today I'm out of here and I will see you in the next video bye
