hey guys K here back at you with another sourcing video today we're going to hit up five thrift stores let's get started this is the first thrift store for today anytime I see Lego I will pick it up obiously sealed Lego and that's what this is right here it's 63025 City Lego so always pick that up um also I don't know if I picked up this hat or not I'll talk about this more in the summary I did see the hat but I don't remember picking it up I don't remember I don't know where it is so I keep looking this is a good will I'm not sure which one it is exactly but um I'm going to show y'all some stuff this might be the one in this might be the one on uh Burbank I think cuz there's usually plush over here this is where I found that Jelly Cat that was worth like $900 something dollars spoiler alert I don't find any on this day but this is the plush section these are individually priced which is not my favorite thing I don't believe I find anything on this day I'm just going to show you all a little overview of the plush there's some more plush there um and then this is the toys so that's using my first go-tos as the toy section SL plush section but usually at most thrift stores there are not very well populated here's a summary so the first th story you pick up two items I'm not sure what happened to the hat I don't know if I actually picked it up or not and the video looked like I did it was a Brent I think that was the name the brand fur felt hat usually hats like that are worth some decent money usually hats at that Goodwill you know Goodwill like2 or $3 so it probably I probably turn it into 50 or 60 so I'm assuming I picked it up and just haven't listed it yet I don't know this was a couple months ago that I went to this store but the uh API or not API that was for the next clip that Lego 63025 has already sold I think it's I think I paid two or three for it sold on Amazon cuz it was still new in the packaging Lego I will pick up if they're new if they're used it's harder to pick them up because you don't know if all the pieces are there um I will pick them up if it's in a big lot at like a garage or something cuz it's usually pretty cheap but at Goodwill I'm not going to pay three or four bucks for a set that's only selling for 20 um but new in the packaging always pick up Lego if it's cheap enough so that the first two pickups um one item has already sold here's thrift store number two for this video this I believe is another Goodwill anytime I see a cart like that I know it's a Goodwill because none of the other thrift stores in my area do that that's a freshwater test kit for an aquarium so if you have an aquarium it works really well and those are some CDs collector's edition that doesn't always mean it's worth some money but on this day I do pick up the collector's edition CDs that's another cart with some stuff on it anytime I walk in and I see like three or four cards I'm happy I went to one yesterday and they only had one cart at the end of the day they only had one card out I'm like did y'all do anything today or did y'all do all clothing cuz that's clothing is not fun for me there's a squish mellow for $5 that's Max the raccoon um he's not worth paying $5 for unfortunately and you know he doesn't sell for much he was a Walmart one that they Mass produce so I already know by looking at him cuz i' had seen him at Walmart before that he's not going to be worth picking up I believe this is the same uh same Goodwill as the first clip actually this might be the one on Burbank yeah it is cuz that that that little tub's always there on the right and here is the plush SL toys and games so this might look familiar cuz we were just here um obviously it's a different day um you can see different plush I don't know if any of those the same ones that we saw in the last clip I don't think so there's meanie baby probably asking $5 for it that one might have been in the last clip um that one definitely wasn't I don't pick it up though I think they were asking like what does that say $5 yeah there's no way that's worth it that's why I'm showing youall that right there I'm like $5 come on Goodwill maybe if you're like buying it for your kid it's worth it but for resale it's not worth paying $5 for now it might sell for like 15 or 20 but I'm not paying five to have an item usually plush are pretty long tail so it's going to be sitting there for a while and who knows if you'll ever actually get 15 or 20 for it so I like to pay less than a dollar for plush which is why I haven't been picking them up as much lately if you've noticed none of these V I don't know if I pick up any plush in this whole clip I might pick up one or two uh in this video but in general garage sales are my new go-to for plush because I can get them for 50 cents to a dollar at garage sales here they just gone up so much in price it's just not worth it here's a summary so this is another Goodwill that I went to I go in there and I find an API freshwater test kit new in the packaging always like I said in the last clip new in the packaging is always good to pick up I think I paid five sold for 23 plus shipping so that's a good sale there it sold pretty fast after I listed it the other item I picked up is this obviously it hasn't sold yet if I still have it this opa I think that's the the the band I don't know who it is or what they are but it was going for around 50 to 60 bucks I have it listed right now for like 70 something um so it hasn't hadn't sold yet but I think it will whenever I for some reason that day I decided to scan CDs sometimes I don't sometimes I do it just depends if it's in the little cart that y'all saw there which is you know new stuff that's just put out usually that's the first thing I go to if I go to a Goodwill because I know it's the new stuff that just got put out so yeah it's different three different CDs I think one's a two pack so four CDs total in this bundle of CDs sometimes CDs can be good money if you look them up that's it for that clip on to the next one this is probably my favorite find of this video look at all that silverware and guess what I just sold something that was my thing I forgot to turn it off again like I always do but this is sterling silver silverware wild rose pattern so that means that this is actual silver like 925 sterling silver worth way more than the money I'm paying for it so I just had show you all that real quickly that's actually the only thing I buy from this clip this is purple cow um it's the end of the day you just never know sometimes when you go there this is like the pictures there's always breakables at the front of the store this is the one on Jones Creek I believe if you're local to me in Baton Rouge so make sure you go check that one out it's pretty cool they're decent on their pricing except for clothing if you're buying clothing that's a little expensive to me at least I used to buy clothing from here when I was doing strictly clothing and it was way too much I should not have spent like I was paying pay like six or seven bucks on Brooks Brothers and some other brands that I thought were going to sell well and I mean they they sold for like $20 but I'm not paying six to make 20 like I said in the last clip I want to pay what I paid for these to make really good money I'm going to show you on in the summary and talk about in the summary what I sold for I don't want to spoil it here what I paid and what it sold for but uh definitely if you ever see silver you should be picking it up here's the summary this might be one of my favorite finds ever at Purple Cow I just happen to walk in there one day usually I go by the post office at like five or five o'clock usually at my time and I get the purple CL closes at 6 so I get there right before they close you know it's not always the best time to go probably but that day I just happened to look down at the silverware and as yall saw in that clip I found a ton of sterling silverware that means it's silver I've sold uh Joan of Arc I think is what this one was for $39 best offer accepted of 39 I also sold a tulle I think that's how you pronounce it for $39 as well those two forks by the M El silver $39 each this is a lot of like 13 their wild rows is the pattern says it on there which makes it really easy wish they do that with everything onid would be really easy to identify if it actually set it on there I don't think it's Onida pattern but it's Wild Rose this weighs 1B basically 17 or 16 and 1 12 ounces if you say one PB you know one PB half an ounce the going rate of silver at the moment as I just looked it up is $259 for one pound of St silver so $259 right here I've gotten I have it listed for like 400 because sometimes as with coins if you ever do anything with coin collecting sometimes the numismatic value of the coin which is what the coin you know the the date or the mint mark is on the coin can be worth more than the actual melt value of the coin so these these for melt value is $260 basically I went to a a coin shop they probably say oh I'll give you 100 for it which I would not take obviously U this is pure or 925 I guess technically sterling silver and what's funny is you'll see this in an up coming Thrift with me as well I go back another day like the next day probably and I find some more because I didn't realize the knives had a different way of showing that they were silver but yeah for this video um the only find I had that day and guess how much I paid for these I paid 15 cents each for all these I think I P that's a total of like 13 pieces I don't know what is that a dollar between a dollar and $2 probably somewhere in that range for all this and it goes to $260 you just never know sometimes when you go to thrift stores that's why you should always check and I'm not always the best at that but that day I just happened to look down at the silverware and I've looked at them ever since but yeah not a bad find for One Stop believe this is the Goodwill and Gonzalez that would be correct there's always CDs and DVDs there I rarely ever look at them like I said in the first clip I did pick those up that day but that's cuz they were on the new cart this is one item I pick up I am me never heard of this game it's a handheld instant messaging game I'm not even sure how it worked exactly then there's Woody from Toy Story no hat even even though I think I say I have the hat in the summary I don't have the hat but I do pick up those two items really cool items um they were old electronics here's if y'all remember me complaining about the plush here's another complaint they went from five or four for $2 to putting them in bags for $5 and you don't get to pick out which ones you want so unless I see like a Five Nights at Freddy's one that I know sells for like 70 bucks or a squishmallow it's worth a ton of money which you know most of those aren't anymore but if I see one that I know is worth a lot of money I'll pick up the whole bag but and the bags are so flimsy they're falling apart I think that might be a squish mellow there but $5 is just too much for PL those kind of plush I I don't know what what made them switch since since then they've actually gone back to putting them in the bins I'm not sure how much they're asking for them now um because I went to a store today and they I went there a couple days ago and they're asking $2 for a Build-A-Bear whereas it used to be four for $2 for all four so I don't know what they're doing I don't know what their thoughts are on that they're just trying to I guess around Marty guard they'll sell for that Pro actually they probably won't sell for that price but we'll see what they do around marar maybe they'll reduce the price again to get them sold here's a summary this is the Goodwill and Gonzalez has some pretty cool finds there uh one of the items was an IM me that's what it was called it's like a little handheld game you can play with they had Wheel of Fortune as well I don't know if I showed that in the clip or not wheel fortune was not going for anything but this one right here there's constant there's two two solds of like $70 and $80 I have mine listed for below the lowest the currently lowest listed price is like 130 so I think I've un listed for like 110 or 120 just trying to see what the waters are like maybe I can get a little bit more I did test it it did work so that's a really good find uh the other end of the spectrum is this guy right here Woody uh I have his hat as well as you saw in the clip I think but this one when I put batteries in does not work so it did have some corrosion on the battery so if I had a screwdriver I could have checked that but I don't bring a screwdriver to the thrift store how many of y'all bring a screwdriver to the thrift store if you go to the Goodwill bendz maybe you do but um at a thrift store I don't so I don't know if I will sell him for parts and see if I can get something for him I think I paid two or three bucks it's not that big of a loss especially since I'm going to make some good money on the IM IM me IM me game I think that was a 2006 game but yeah Woody if think if he played to be worth like $40 or $50 and he was just supposed to play music you press the little uh buttons up here and he should play some kind of music or S sing something or say something I don't know but yeah that's that thrift store not bad finds we are back at the Purple Cow to end this video I find some really cool I found actually four items which is rare for me to Thrift Store golden Deluxe te I'll always pick that up that was really cool trail of Painted Ponies was in the toy section out of all random things it's like a it's a really collectible item the glove I think I pass on although it looks like I pick it up there I believe I passed on that glove and I'll talk about that more in the summary but that for once this x section was actually stocked pretty full of toys I do pick that up as well the build-a bear toys and stuffed animals um their prices are actually decent I think it's 59 cents for small and a dollar for a large they had the pricing somewhere right there you're not able to see it I can't see it either but they had a decent amount of plush there that day uh I like that they have plush and board games I've picked up some board games in the past that have been pretty good I I don't think I've shown those yet but I'll show those in a in the summary at one point or in one of these clips at one point I sent them into Amazon so that means they were new and sealed which is always good uh there's some toy cars there I pass on those um yeah toy cars I pass on unless it's uh cars or planes from the franchise cars and planes I do pick up that little stick as well it was some kind of Indian artifact or you know they made it an Indian Reservation maybe not an artifact I miss spoke there but yeah that's all the toy section that's all I'm going to show yall here's a summary all right so we're back at the Purple Cow again like I said that's one of the ones I give to the most I found four items at this thrift store um I don't know if any of them one of them is listed so far the Build-A-Bear hook Fang uh from How to Train Your Dragon is listed already it's listed for like $11 it had a tear in it unfortunately I did not see that when I bought it I only paid a dollar for it though and usually the how train dragon Builder bears go for a decent amount he's probably the lowest other than toothless who if you can look back there uh there's a lot of Toothless builda Bears back there it's probably my favorite uh plush to collect is How to Train Your Dragon Plush I do have one of each of the Dragons I'm missing the little babies that are that came from the third movie I'll find them eventually but those are a little expensive so if I can find them at a thrift store I'll try to um but I did pick up three other items the golden tea Deluxe I haven't tested it yet that's usually a good thing to pick up for like a dollar or two uh it's like a handheld game you plug it into a TV and you can just hit the hit the golf ball and it'll you know simulate going it's like a at the arcades like dve Busters or something like that they'll have the big arcade game that you just hit the ball on but this is like a smaller version of that um one item you should always be on the lookout for bolo alert this trail of Painted Ponies these are bolos if you can get them for the right price I only paid a dollar I'd say that's the right price but it does say on the bottom it says the trail of Painted Ponies this one's probably worth like $50 or $60 so it's not worth a crazy amount um and there's also no box included with it whenever I saw it I was like there's no way there's no way that's available in the toy section of purple cow for a dollar but the best item might actually be that little I don't know if you saw it or not I didn't really focus on it too much in the video I don't think but the the little stick right here it's like let's see what what does it say exactly uh it's a Indian rattle so it was made and handcrafted by man manella Vander tribe Navajo census number 42828 too and it does have a barcode on it so I guess these they must have sold these at like a Navajo reservation is that what they're I think that's what it's called reservation I've been to I've been to some before way back whenever we go up to Branson Missouri I think we went to one or two up there but yeah it's a really cool tribal thing it's got a turtle on it with the the rattle with the turtle it's probably worth $60 to $70 um so yeah that was really cool to find to like you know the the pony and then this um those were really cool finds I think I passed on the glove that I showed in that video I did show a baseball glove in the video but I think it passed on it cuz it's like a kidss glove it really wasn't worth much but that's it for this video guys don't forget to leave a like comment with your favorite item mine's going to be the sterling silver silver rare because yeah that's easy money right there if I decide to sell it I think I've got like I said I gotten off for a 300 and didn't take it but maybe I will eventually but right now I'm Still Holding Out for some higher money but that's it for this video don't forget subscribe And subscribe thanks for watching
