I Created Myself in MLB The Show!

yes I added myself to MLB the show I recreated myself to a t in game but I'm a zero overall but that's for a reason every hit and play in the field will give me points to upgrade my player and of course my first game was against the Houston Astros but I wasn't worried at all this is my chance to see what it would be like in my first major league at bet hey Elise you made some contact just to ground that to short no way I struggled rest this game right [Applause] [Music] be harder than I expected [Music] finally there was some hope I was actually able to get some points by making some plays in the field but clearly the hitting side of things is gonna be a lot more difficult but hey we won our first game that'll be a bonus 50 points as well so with my Hundred points I could add attributes to my player so I spent those hundred points by getting everything up by five and in my last few points on contact and power and hopefully we could get that first hit foreign yes our first hit first MLB hit an RBI that pressure of getting that first hit in the MLB is finally over but I still have a long way to go oh perfect perfect come on ball carry fly [Applause] yes [Music] hey we swept the Astros did I do anything absolutely not this start was big though because I joined the team in the middle of the Wild Card race on four and a half games out of the AL East and two games away from the AL Wild Card so I have to upgrade my player as soon as possible not only to get up to a 99 overall but to help the Yankees get to the postseason in our next series is against the Tigers I'm looking to hit this time yes but for the rest of this video every total base only gives me 10 points so I wish I had this re-hit game earlier especially since we lost two as soon as I heat it up the team got ice cold and I began to shift my mentality from doing my own part to carrying this team but my player definitely was not good enough to do that so we'd lose again and this was the same story in game three I really wanted that first double and of course it did not work out how slow can you be we were swept by the Tigers one of the worst teams in the league and now that AL East may be Out Of Reach but we're still three and a half out of the wild card but yet again I started to hit but the team continued to suck so I need to start doing way more than just hit singles oh come on ball did he do it come on yes our first home run he may have barely left but I will take that all day I'd even get another hit this game but we'd still lose so something had to change quick if we wanted to make the postseason now it was time to break [Applause] laughs I forgot that I said that as home run celebration I don't care about any other attribute we are getting up to 99 Power and that we did as you see the fielding and speed and all that suck hopefully this home Runner Bus strategy works [Music] it's gonna do wonders but not every swing was gonna leave and with this offense that was a problem and I had enough of losing so I kept on upgrading my hitting and it finally started the click I kept on crutching the baseball but the team continued this up but since I was an extra bass machine now I was able to put up some runs and we'd finally end that losing streak and at this point Justin scan became an offensive machine that's all 99 contact and power and in this next series versus the Pirates it was time to really prove how good I was I'd pick up four hits in a game one win and after hitting a single triple and double in game number two I was close to history telling me he didn't that's a cycle baby I'd be spending a lot of time sprinting around those bases because I was hitting tanks I also made some great plays in the field ran the base as like a psychopath and I was doing everything in my power to keep scoring runs for this team and late in this game versus the Jays this showed exactly how much I would do for this team get up the middle get up the middle oh he beat it out we got the lead I would score all the way from second base on the ground ball to the infield and we'd win this game and after picking up another quick win against the D-backs we were finally in the Wild Card race and at this point we just had to keep on winning the keep our spot in the postseason and as you'd expect I kept crushing the ball but also the team heated up oh that's a grand slam this team is on fire right now my players single-handedly brought this team to life and especially now that I was 99 overall everywhere and we were locked down in the wild card we were in a great position but those pesky Orioles were running away with that AL East so that may have been out of play but I kept the foot on the gas and kept on crushing the baseball trying to get as many wins as we can to steal that AL East but unfortunately we were still just chasing those Orioles and it was gonna be really tough to track them down I was getting frustrated and I absolutely obliterated the Blue Jays in this series and I would do the same against the poor Royals and we were just a win away from clinching that wild card and we would do it we made the playoffs look who we're facing first of course we had to face the Orioles who won that AL East it was time to kick their butts for taking that division from us but being a right-handed batter in Baltimore proved to be a little tough it's right at a bud Sac fly gets a job done down 3-0 think I need to swing here if it's right down the middle yeah that ball is demolished 113 miles an hour there we go all right now we're down three all right I need a homer here yikes dang it man sold there all right Runners on first and second Yeti or Kano on the mound oh that's Satan I don't know why you're not running you better score oh my goodness he threw the second all right well I thought I was gonna be able to get second easily well we lost five to six so we need to win two in a row man we're cooling off at the worst time that both sound like it was not hit hard at all all right come on Judge hit me in judge what are we doing big guy ah great we're losing of course we are all right all right that's a perfect I'm gonna be off the wall at best all right another double I am beef with that left field wall well Aaron judge is failing us right now things are looking pretty bleak I'm trying my hardest here I think we need to power swing I need to beat that left field wall the power swing didn't do it I know it's got to be the team that gets it done at this point oh my goodness five to six top of the ninth one out left let's see if we've got another one in US [Music] oh he bobbled it all right we got on we have to run around like a psychopath I think [Applause] I failed a team when it mattered most I got so caught up in trying to carry these Yankees to a World Series that when I came up when it mattered most I failed I tried to make baseball into a sport about me and this just shows that baseball is not a sport where one player can carry you think about Barry Bonds or Mike Trout two of the best players of all time who don't have a World Series so no I could not carry the Yankees to a World Series with my player but as a team we made a heroic push to the playoffs and my players set history along the way and you should watch this video where I try to take Aaron judge to a World Series with the Yankees and maybe he'll actually be the chosen one
