so Amazon Basics it's when Jeff Bezos sees an item or a category like these two gamer mice and then decides to make his own version of it and sell it for a bigger profit this is pretty much all the setup stuff I could find from Amazon Basics this here is the most gamer like desk that I could find it has one of those monitorizers so it's definitely a computer desk however I'm not really sure if it's gonna be able to fit two monitors by the way I did find Amazon Basics monitors I didn't think that was going to be possible now I just finished unpacking everything and I feel like the desk is gonna be very small so I hope we have enough space for everything there's also a lot of stuff to add around the desk I guess all of this is meant to be storage I guess I'll see what all of this stuff is for while installing oops you know I'm used to always using my electric drill when I'm building stuff even for a few screws I go get it and I use it but building this desk by hand for now is actually quite therapeutic so I just finished the desk now this one has the most add-ons I've ever seen it is definitely a computer desk though so that's a good thing now I'm looking at the product page on Amazon over this desk and it even says designed for Avid Gamers I wouldn't say this is a real gamer desk because it is too small to be that we're gonna have a lot of trouble to fit two monitors on it now I wonder if this here could be used for a laptop or a console probably for a console a laptop is going to be kind of tricky no it just slides off so I guess we're gonna have to use it like in the promo pictures for a phone or for a tablet for example it's actually a shame because if this right here if this angle would have been sharper then it would have been perfect for a console or a laptop and it wouldn't slide off now as I mentioned before this desk has a lot of add-ons building the desk actually went pretty well there's not a lot of annoying stuff to install the legs are easy to install and all the other stuff didn't take that long to install a few screws each now we obviously have the monitorizer I installed I know it's going to be too small for two monitors luckily between all this stuff it's not this but I do have a monitor arm from Amazon Basics really excited for that on the bottom on the back of the desk there's also a cable management tray that's going to be really useful and then on the front here we also have some room for storage I actually installed it the wrong way but afterwards I fixed it I turned it around I also forgot to install these two enforcing Parts on the bottom I mean the desk is definitely very sturdy and you know besides that I hate all the other stuff well maybe not this this is a headphone hanger that's pretty useful but right here a cup holder next to a desk I really hate that it screams China does all these types of desks have these extra things that should make the desk look more professional or more legit but all they do is just make the desk look quirky and cheap I mean these things on the right and the left are for games Playstation games Xbox all that stuff you can shove them in between this here is to put your controllers and I mean a cup holder I really hate this but you know it can be pretty useful I just don't like the Aesthetics of it now I didn't expect to be able to assemble a complete Amazon basic setup I didn't know they had enough gear but this here is a monitor arm and since the box is so big I'm hoping it's going to be assembled already but it looks like we're going to be disappointed this looks pretty nice actually looks pretty premium the price of this monitor almost 90 dollars so that's definitely pretty expensive for a single monitor arm especially Amazon Basics usually they're still extremely cheap like all their batteries or their HDMI cables all that stuff okay so I wasn't entirely wrong this whole Port has been assembled usually you need to build all this kind of stuff so this shows over this you can clearly see the Amazon Basics logo here even over here on this part they're making very sure that you know you're using an Amazon Basics product they also give you all the tools you need to assemble this all right now I have to be honest this is a pretty stylish looking monitor arm especially since there's this bottom piece that rises the whole arm it's also very very sturdy this desk is going to break before the arm does and we're going to connect the Amazon Basics monitor later the other one is going to come here on the Riser now the desk wasn't cheap it's 133 dollars which is kind of pressed between a cheap white Ikea table which definitely is cheaper or an Alex drawer with a countertop desk which is definitely more expensive because of the Alex drawers but usually these types of desks are between 100 and 200 it's a sturdy and decent desk I it kind of comes down to your preference I definitely like this type of desk that I have over here but I mean it does cost almost 300 to build this now since Amazon Basics it's more about decorations and that kind of stuff instead of pure Tech I decided to make this a gaming room instead of a setup so I got the Shelf which is kind of the same theme as the desk itself and I'm going to move this because otherwise there's too much stuff think it's not that bad over here so we have a bit more room for our storage shelves now the building process of the Shelf was actually pretty easy I have to be honest so far the Amazon Basics products have not disappointed I spent quite a bit of time figuring out the exact height of each shelf so some markers in that area could have been useful but in general this is a great product especially for 45 dollars that's pretty cheap for a storage shelf now I have to admit the Shelf I just built looks very normally like that's gonna be quite a team with this Amazon Basics video although we do have a gamer Mouse to check out and some other stuff that's more PC Gamer like but the Amazon Basics keyboard is not gonna be one of them this this is a matte black keyboard it's pretty much the only one that I found and I mean the Amazon Basics logo right here could just as well say Microsoft because this is one of those keyboards but I do have to admit when I put it on the desk like this it looks pretty clean now I don't think a typing test of this one is gonna be of much use because well it doesn't feel like red or clicky switches I can't tell you that much I mean it's an office keyboard now the thing that's inside this box is the biggest Normie item we have today I don't think you'll be able to guess it it is a floor standing lamp now I did think I was going to be able to make it awesome because I did find RGB LED lamps that were from Amazon Basics however they were out of stock so I couldn't buy them otherwise I would have made this blue or red the price was 58 dollars but look at this this looks like something you would see at the therapist's practice however I would never because my social anxiety is way too bad to visit the therapist in real life which is why I'm very happy that the sponsor of today's video is better health better help is the world's largest therapy practice and it's a hundred percent online through better help you can reach more than 30 000 therapists that are licensed and experienced and that can help price get 10 of your first month right now at betterhelp.com the video nerd that's better h-e-l-p.com the video on Earth the link will also be in the description so the light bulb is included however it's just white or yellow lights it's not going to be RGB and this had to go on first of course classic there we go I was wrong again this ring has to be taken off in order to install it correctly and a bit more sturdily okay that's sturdy enough I'm going to position this light in the corner here and let's plug it in I have to press the button and it doesn't do anything the light bulb might be the fact if let's try with another one that I have here in the studio all right this works so the Amazon Basics light bulb that they give you well I'm not sure if this is from Amazon Basics but what they give you doesn't work I do have to be honest this gives you a really cozy Vibe now we are finally getting to some exciting stuff I got a bunch of dusk accessories here this here is a desk stand we've got the gaming mouse and then also PC speakers I think this here is a microphone now these Amazon Basics monitors I feel like this is just a collaboration and their logo is just on it now here is something I'm not looking forward to installing so I'm pretty much gonna skip to the final result for you it's an Amazon Basics office chair but the reviews said that it was really really really really comfortable let's see what the price was before I installed it it was 61 so if it's comfortable it's a pretty good deal definitely a lot of parts okay now I must have read the wrong reviews because this chair definitely isn't high quality it's pretty wobbly it feels like if I would sit on the right side of it for like a few minutes it would break and something that's more applicable if you would sit on this daily for hours then I'm pretty certain that after a few months this chair is gonna be crooked if that's how I said hey my English terminology answered PC building stuff I can say something is awesome it's epic it's cuffed by the way I quickly want to mention that if you like the hoodie I'm wearing in this video the TV and merch is currently available I really like this hoodie the quality is amazing as you can see here it's also a champion hoodie so that proves the quality and a baggy fit I will add the link in the description at stevianshop.com so we finally have a chair to sit on that's amazing and I think this item here is a phone stand alright an Amazon Basics phone stand and again they are very consistent with the logo they make sure that if you buy an Amazon Basics item you're gonna be reminded that it's from them so I'm gonna put it over here I know we had this thing here which is kind of a phone stunt but I mean what is this that looks very weird there's not too much to say about this but I have to be honest it looks pretty clean it kind of looks like the phone is floating a bit and I really like it by the way yes I know it's completely destroyed but it's the screen protector it's not the phone glass itself alright now I have the gaming mouse here I'm looking forward to this but I also have the product that's probably going to beat this lamp in the Normie product category so what I was looking for was any wall decoration that could be interesting for example something like this or like the clouds of course we're not gonna find those RGB clouds on Amazon Basics but anything remotely interesting would have been good however well I ended up with was a wall clock which doesn't even look like you would find it at a therapist's office this looks like you would find it on top of the wall while doing an exam so let's add a battery to it and let's hang it above our absolute Normie setup I absolutely hate this but I needed wall decoration now something I won't hate is the Razer Naga excuse me gaming mouse with 12K DPI Optical sensor backlights and thumb buttons AKA Razer Naga now I'm mostly kidding because making a macro Mouse like this for MMOs and stuff with 12 buttons on the side I mean there are only so many ways of pulling it off and this is just a numpad so that's why it's also 12 instead of making it 10 for example to be different from other mice now it does feel cheaper overall than other micromise I've used so I went to my storage and I got a Razer Naga and the Corsair scimiter now this one is absolutely disgusting from being drone everywhere the reason is that it doesn't really work anymore there's double clicks happening and mistakes in the tracking but you can definitely see that these mice are very very similar and the Razer Naga and the Corsair similar have two buttons on the top and then 12 on the side and the Amazon Mouse has one button on the top and then also 12 on the side now the scroll wheel of the Naga can be pushed to click but it can also click to the right and to the left however that's not possible with the Corsair scimiter and also not with the Amazon Mouse now in terms of how they feel the Amazon Mouse definitely feels the lightest it feels the low lowest quality out of all of them so it was 73 dollars the Corsair simeter is ninety dollars at the Razer Naga which is my current mouse that I'm using I really love the feel of this mouse I adore the macro buttons for MMOs and the wired version of this mouse cost 45 dollars and the one with more options four on the side for example six buttons or two micro buttons that's eighty dollars it's the Naga Trinity and then if you want my version which is a wireless version that's the Naga Pro it's 97 and it also has three options for on the side you can just take it off like this and then there's two other side panels like this which you can just magnetically connect I will link all of these in the description I do not advise you to buy this I will either get a wired version of the Naga get the Corsair simeter if you don't trust the Razer but otherwise if you have the budget I really love the Naga Pro now we need to decorate this Shelf at least a bit and what I got here are Amazon Basics scam products that's gonna be perfect for this setup but what I mean by scan products is that sometimes the title of a product will say Amazon brand and I'm a normal product and by doing that they're trying to use the Amazon brand name in order to make the product sound more legit same thing with this a face from Amazon brand trust me you can find a lot of sellers doing that I'm just gonna push this in okay all right let's put this on here these fake hanging plants as well now this is an Amazon basic stack product I was really looking forward to testing it's a microphone and the reviews were really positive oops wrong box these are the speakers that's for after this together with the PC and the monitors so this is the mic on the pictures that looked like the Razer siren mini however in real life not really it is very shiny very plasticky looking like most of the other products like this mouse it feels very Hollow and low quality however the reviews were very positive so we are going to test this mic when I install the PC I really expected it to have Amazon Basics written really big on the front the way they are doing it with most products but they are keeping it very subtle with this mic Amazon Basics is written really small on the bottom all right now I bought two 1080p Amazon Basics monitors there are 20 4 inch 75 Hertz IPS panels and I'm going to use this 500 budget PC for the setup now I'm not gonna go over what's inside this PC because my next video will be a 500 budget PC so if you're looking for that definitely subscribe so you get a notification as you can see the case is already here also the GPU the RAM and then the power supply I'm really looking forward to that build now if you really can't wait you can find the components in my description There's the link it's to a cat page where all the components however in my next video I will show you how to build it alright let's check out this Monitor and I mean it's pretty normal but this is definitely a collaboration Amazon Basics buy AOC the front however only says Amazon Basics on it now if I remember correctly then the price of this monitor was really low for 24 inch 1080p now having it on this monitorizer and on the stand might definitely put it a bit too high I'm going to use this monitor arm to put the second one right here so let's attach the second monitor luckily the monitor does have a Visa mount on the back I didn't check that but we are able to connect it to an arm and let's see how well we can position it all right I think this might be perfect this will definitely work the PC can come over here and now we can test some stuff like testing the microphone testing the mouse because I said don't buy it but I didn't actually test it however the reason I did say that is because it feels a bit Hollow and a bit low quality compared to other maybe cheaper options however I still want to check if they're actually scamming you or if it's just not that good now I'm going to take off this tablet stand or phone stand whatever it is because it's pretty dumb and I also want to put the PC there in the corner so we can't put the PC over here and then we can check out what is probably going to be the biggest scam of today this should be an Amazon Basics gaming mouse pattern that's probably not the case let's check out this gaming mouse pad well it's definitely not going to be an XXL Mouse but let's give it a chance now I don't really think this is a gaming mouse pad it doesn't look like a gaming mouse pad it's not as big as those gaming mouse pads that are either for really big mouse movements or that are really white and that are used as a desk mat for the keyboard and the mouse but let's put it over here now I have to be really honest with you I am really digging this Vibe here on the left and the setup doesn't look bad so far I'm gonna check out the Amazon basic speakers right now and we can put one on the left one on the right the phone stand is also pretty decent well to be fair not that much can go wrong with this now if I would buy a desk stand for a phone I would definitely make sure it's a wireless charging one maybe your phone doesn't support it right now but it will definitely in the future and it will probably still work then there are many good options if I remember I will put one in the description alright two more things before we can test the screens and the microphone one is going to be the speakers and the other one is a microphone arm also from Amazon Basics by the way the mouse pad was 14 would never buy it the monitors were 106 dollars each that's a very very budget price I'm looking at other monitors on Amazon there are cheaper options a very well known one is the scepter monitor it's 99 always the number one best selling I've checked it out in previous videos it's a good option now the monitors are actually not that bad for the price however the scepter monitor is definitely just as good as this one and it's cheaper so I will link it in the description if you want the really budget monitor the microphone was 48 dollars we're gonna check if it's worth it in a second keyboard was 12 if you need a cheap one great option much better by the way than those cheap gaming keyboards from aliexpressvis.com or even Amazon if your budget is as low as 12 get a normal office keyboard not one of those gamer ones they're really bad the microphone arm from Amazon Basics was 20 and so were the speakers so 20 speakers really curious now they are pretty heavy they are definitely a pain to unbox all right got them out okay so we're gonna put them over here the other one over here now you can connect them through aux or through USB now the microphone arm is one of the weirdest I've ever seen I mean look at how thick it is right here it looks like those cheap ones but it's way bulkier so not really a good option it does come with cable management strips though so that allows you to hide the the cable pretty well it also comes with a pop filter but I assume it's not really going to fit on this mic if you really try hard it does it makes the mic look like a budget sm7b so the microphone is called a microphone Amazon Basics desktop mini mic okay now I've been listening to these speakers for a while and for twenty dollars you can't really complain however I'm going to show you what they sound like so what these speakers sound like is this now if you know anything about audio you're going to understand what I mean they pretty much sound like there's no low ones there's no bass and they sound like if you would take your rear boots out of your ear and then listen to them that way you will probably get what I mean they're pretty trash okay and then this is the microphone let's turn off the music it was stream beats playing good music for streamers oh I think you need to speak into the mic from the top so that I'm talking over it will do the job that way your plosives don't reach the mic they go over it but it still picks up all of your voice my next video will be the 500 budget PC really looking forward to that just like I'm looking forward to the outro sponsor that IQ growing on YouTube can be very challenging I use vidiq every day to find hidden opportunities for example like this
