today I am taking delivery of my brand new Lamborghini with Alto and maybe just maybe we're going to drive it like it's never been driven before this is going to be one of the first Lamborghini with elos in the UK and we're going to test if it's as good as Lamborghini say it is this is why we're here at Lamborghini tumbridge Wells to show you what it's like to take delivery of a brand new Lamborghini I feel so very lucky over the years I've owned over 20 Lamborghinis and my favorite is the crazy Aventador svj this in my opinion is a pinnacle of the super car and what makes it so special is how raw and aggressive it is with its ancient single clutch and jumpy gearbox the shifts of the gears can be lightly quick but other times Italian cesta lazy but not knowing which one you are going to get gives the svj its personaliz and it literally makes the car feel alive but after 13 years of long service Lamborghini has finally replaced the Epic Aventador and many years of development have led to this car right here exciting so we're going to see if this car is a worthy replacement to my beautiful svj but let's just say things did not go to plan it won't go into gear it won't rev won't move forward there's a common C so every time there's a problem it's Electric electrical fa in for now let me show you the delivery of the car I put a deposit on four years ago a new car Handover is always very special but with Lamborghini tumbridge Wells they always go that extra mile it even looks mean under there look at that look at that line look how low it is you're going to have fun getting in that that's actually lower than you that's low that's really low the Overland more overhang keep you happy let's not wait any longer I have been looking forward to this moment for a very long time this is by far the most expensive car I have ever bought in fact it's even more than I paid for my house and what makes this even more scary I ordered this car without seeing or driving it I have entrusted Lamborghini that they have made another masterpiece the revelo now has a staging 1,1 horsepower made up of the legendary Lamborghini V12 engine and working in symmetry with three electric motors a modern-day hybrid with the meanest looking back end of a production car to date matched with a crazy multi-line front face it continues with the legendary Lamborghini showstopping scissor doors and now with even more gadgets you get three LED screens there's even one for your passenger oh wow got proper Goose Ms oh my god oh wow isn't it amazing look at the interior how do you think it looks looks so crazy just lines everywhere so that's look how look at that's that's open I didn't even know that look at that comes round and then continues oh what do you think J oh it's just beautiful look at all the detail look at that that is unbelievable I've got your surprise as well when we originally speced this car it came way over budget so to bring the price down we made a few compromises and removed a few options if I get rid of the carbon you get rid of your cup holders how is that a deal is fair got C holders that is your um next year's Christmas present that fits my phone as well look at that so you can do 180 M do 70 and it's not going to fall out the detail is ridiculous isn't it like there's like not a single piece of any of this car is flat ready to see the storage let's have a look very modern oh hello T that is a lot of space it's very comfy that's an accessory I didn't think we were going to get my first impressions on seeing this car in the flesh are way above my expectation but what makes this Handover really special is all the nice little gifts so botle the champagne for smashing over the Bonnet CH stuff more stuff what's going on there that's pointless absolutely pointless no that's a head cover that iser shower cap seat cover and this one then mouth another seat cover cuz there's two seats that's pretty special so that is an exact replica of the car exact spec and some flowers I've got you these I got them sent here for you like buying a new car ESP special in itself but then this is where it's like but all of that is for you I am very grateful to be experiencing this today and one part I've been very exciting to test is a continuation of the mighty V12 Lamborghini have used its crazy large V12 engine since the very beginning way back in 1963 the mura Countach Diablo mercel Lago Aventador but in recent years the rumor was the V12 engine was stopping but thankfully purists like myself are over the moon probably the most important part about this car is it's kept the amazing V12 engine cold start cold start let's hear it rev it flat out straight away yeah in the showroom the way that kicks in is mad sounds a look at that though that's that's a massive thing that is that might not mean anything but like I always proper struggled with my knees so far this car looks and sounds better than I'd hoped for so let's get it on the road and finally feel how this car drives don't avoid me R I'll be avoid in about 10 minutes time right welcome to new Lamborghini RTO outside of the dealership do you think yeah I think so right launch how do we get it in launch what you mean launch Mark aren you supposed to run these in yeah we're going to do that right now ready donut as well we got to do a donut I want to do a larg donut within the first mile how many miles is this on 45 so 9,000 oh this is flipping oh got dizzy this is brilliant right let's do everything normal as we should from the start okay now this is AEL we can't go too hard cuz it has to be running for a th000 Miles ready listen to that this screen is so cool the truth is we trailered this car immediately from the dealership and straight to a private indust state where we got my first launch donut and drive and why did we have to do that well I'll explain later on in the video but it does mean right now we can't drive this car properly but I do have a plan so for now let's get it back home sitting next to my beloved svj and see how it Stacks up after 13 years is the Batton has been passed nothing beats that feeling getting it back to base taking a step back and with no rush taking a good long look at it up until 10 minutes ago that looked futuristic and it's crazy because that now makes that look oldfashioned which is mental and I remember when I first saw this car probably I don't know two years ago in Italy it was a clay model I remember coming back and saying to everybody it's not that different but then put them next to each other and everything is different and everything on that looks better than that imagine that when it's got some Arrow imagine the svj version that's all that's missing is Wings spoilers and pops and bangs this new RTO is obviously very beautiful but surprisingly to me I actually think it looks better than the svj and I never thought I was going to say that that's as Arrow as we get right now does look good though look at that as well that is massive that's the thing with this car the more you look at it the more parts you find and I think whil these two cars are sat next to each other let's do the very important test of the good oldfashioned Revol so this is modern day technology it basically just won't let you do anything until it's ready which is fair enough can't even rev it literally won't even let me rev it it's Mark mampu it didn't sound bad did it that sounds really good for a 24 r car that sounds amazing that does sound good right next which one won that was completely pointless it's just an excuse to rev that that is next level that's got no chance this one has an aftermarket exhaust at deut dech DTX so just imagine when that has got one of those on for me I need to be honest to you guys and so far we have noticed a few problems see so it doesn't go down fast enough so if in a rush which we all are maybe that's teing problems but I found that really really odd unlike a simple petrol turn Kingo This Modern Day stuff is a little more complicated than my small brain can handle right now this is the big difference that there is that a Tesla plug yep we'll get on to that a bit later in the video but there's so many different driving modes and there's like um there's like a battery which then Powers the motors on this car I don't really understand how it works but looise did explain to me properly but then it went in the one ear and out the other but and me not listening properly on that Handover is about to be a huge problem welcome to shelsley wsh Hill Climb it's a notoriously difficult course it's only just wider than the car and if you are too brave it ends in disaster this is a chance to stretch the legs of this car and see what 1,1 horsepower feels like flat out on a very wet greasy track the new car that's sick that is sick I was a hater when I seen the photos but now I've seen it in person I've changed my mind oh this is nice isn't it look it's naked just how he likes them that car is insane it's insane you know the best cars in the world are always black when you got lights going on it Neons yeah it's just what you do isn't it you buy a car you ruin it right we're now reviewing the Velo so the the Camelo this is pretty cool I have no idea how this like battery system works but it won't be long before this is crashing and we have to figure out how it works when did you get it uh two days ago are you kidding me two days ago okay that's very cool very very very technical like electric and you have to recharge it and just bizarre I haven't figured it out yet theyve changed a lot inside though I really do like the layout I like what they've done with like the interior styling I mean it's clean looking so far everyone's First Reactions are very positive but it's really important if you have fell in love with that car that you still do your research and back background checks and for this you can use car vertical and we'll get back to that in a minute but first of all why is my Armstrong Dismantling in my car what the hell are they are they just those secondary airpl things I know let's disconnect them so obviously this is a brand new car so have to check it out on a car verticle I hope it's never been stolen and as you can see it's all green lights so now that everyone has had a good look at the car I'm going to take Nico and Matt on a steady stroll up the track why do we're just going to go up the hill and crash don't crash your car D you're definitely buying it today somebody is going to crash as you can see from all of our reactions this car is just as exciting all that power on this green wet track is really Larry so a big thumbs up to every bit of development that went into this new car but unfortunately everything was about to take take a turn for the worst right we have an issue so the car will not start because Sen's been satting the all day messing about and used all of our battery and now we've got a hybrid which we have no idea how to work we have nothing at all nothing nothing now this is nothing new to me I am lucky enough to have a few cars on the drive and with that comes dead batteries now with this new car we've had the dash on the lights on the doors open and lots of presses on that start button but as of yet we haven't given it a good run usually we stick a battery pack on it and bring it back to life so I assumed this car would be as simple as that we've got the jump pack on it but it's not working it's probably too smart for that yeah paays money that's exactly what it's doing it's going recharge cheater Mode start button press this it's been DDE maybe it's electric mode you tried just pushing the gas pedal moov it's it's trying to make the the noise but it's out of battery cheatah mode cuz so now we had power to the dash but the engine just wouldn't start Center plane in the car had finished off what little Hybrid battery power we had left this car is so new and I have no experience in hybrid and I left myself in a right pickle so we in some backup okay let's see if it's perish but it won't even move forward on hybrid either cuz the it yeah turn it all off and then and then yeah we'll leave it for a bit at least there's not many people around there's a common urr so every time there's a problem it's Electric electrical fall let fall sleep let it all go sleep open it up it's going to do it come on it's not good is it it's not looking good bro no battery bad battery bad battery bad now the moment of truth if this car does not start my brand new Lamborghini will have to go back to the factory [Music] you need to start a YouTube channel about but we celebrated too early yes we had managed to get the petrol ending started but we still had no battery level in the hybrid system so we soon learned there was a whole new problem can you go forward no yeah basically it won't go into gear it won't rev won't move forward I think I think it's got leave it for Idol for a bit to charge we can try the off on trick again oh that's risky but it is risky yeah like when You' got zero battery so we now had a waiting game would this car sat still running put enough charge into the hybrid to enable us to select to gear oh yeah y your transmission F's gone your engine man you got an engine management light on put on the brake come on come on that's it yeah look you back that battery's going up that battery's going off up the hill call coming up the hill so hopefully now the car is good to go stressful oh yeah I imagine so stressful when you spent this much money and then there's this many people around the car when there's a problem it's not good uh your passenger's looking a little nervous yeah he's um talking I'm completely fine he's he's used to crashing it's fine where Joy have fun the car was now driving but there was still something massively wrong yeah we definitely got a problem yeah we've got a problem haven't we we've got a slow car yeah it doesn't feel like a th000 HS does it that's all we got is that it I we've got to be in like a limp mode the left bar here shows how much battery level is stored in the car and that little run up the hill has not even touched char in the Hybrid battery that engine light must have put it in some yeah I think I reckon the old off andon will work but it's very risky it's very risky I just haven't got my head around it yet and Matt and I were just guessing but then Matt had an idea hey we could call janf we call Jan yeah should we I think you should call him we're having a problem yanet and we thought the only person we know with another with RTO is you and you just so happen to be in it this is gonna look like a right fit were you sitting in EV mode were you in se you know like sit mode we don't really know where we've been it's confusing me and it's all in Italian so I I can't I don't understand it I like right so you can charge it via the car seven minutes yeah do you know you got the two you the toggles it takes it takes seven minutes to get a full charge driving it yeah D so it has to be driving yeah it has to be driving okay okay so now that does make sense so according to Yanni we just need to Simply drive it for miles and then that will charge the hybrid system and that will hopefully fix it he's on a limit he's on a limit you are a jab it's so close to coming out of the red come on come on please feel yes he's going in the water come on look at that it's in the white I think that's it I reckon it can turn off I reckon that's it come on what a good game this is you got to keep going fast Mark you got to keep going fast what about the [Music] kids right I reckon you gamble and turn it off when you're go park up we turn it off and then celebrate but it's got to be in the white oh no oh give me your help we're back in the red yes we are back in the red but there is only one way to know if there is enough power to start this car again ready yeah you [Music] scared oh it's not starting is it not starting look at that V12 stuff your electric it's been eventful it it's in a limp mode where did you go um back to Lamborghini in a minute I got hole in your ear I got I got shot someone shot me through there look so the reality is this is just new technology and from speaking to Yanni it's not that difficult but just like at school I didn't listen at that Handover I got given this and I got told there was that now that's supposed to be plugged into there and it's supposed to be kept on charge and I didn't listen because I didn't think it was that ser ious but now I know with a hybrid it has to be plugged in and then if you think about what we've been doing been playing it here playing it there doors open changing cameras it's had no miles but lots and lots of starts and stops this is state-of-the-art hybrid technology and I just need to figure out how to use it and I'm sure when I get my head around this this car is going to be incredible but right now we've only got about 50 horsepower because this car is still in limp mode but Matt said to leave it running Matt the jior yes just leave it running for about 20 minutes which we have and now hopefully when we turn this off and on should be out of Limp mod please please please please please we are hoping that the flat battery has simply turned this car into a safety limp mode and I'm hoping with Matt's advice of 20 minutes on idle this light will come off and we will get to use this car properly that one there yay right let's get on the track yes I love this car this is so quick so when you've got a petrol engine you need that fire bang and then obviously you get that explosion but with the electric motors it just fills in all those gaps that's when the hybrid becomes so fun because it just gives you so much control but after all this have we answered the question we started this video with is it as good as the Aventador I was wrong to try and compare this to Aventador I am a chav and I love the rawness and aggression of that svj but let's face it we are 13 years down the line that era it's ended the whole world is changing and we have to tick the boxes we are being forced into electric but right now we still have this petrol V12 and by the sanss V that won't last forever this journey is not about beating the past it's about embracing the future right RTO big thumbs up thank you for watching that now this car is amazing but there is one huge problem
