I Bought A $5,000 Wind Turbine On Wish To Charge My Tesla..

four months ago I made this video and in this video I made the mistake of saying this if this video gets a hundred thousand likes I'll do a part two and I'll buy this wind turbine and I say mistake because I was saying it as an unachievable joke and well as you guys can see you flip the script and turn the joke around on me so after countless comments asking when this video will be coming it is time to finally unbox and test out the five thousand dollar plus windmill from whish and see if we can charge my Tesla with the power generated from a window and against my better judgment and just because I don't believe you guys can do it again I'm gonna give you another challenge a hundred thousand likes on this video and I will cover my Tesla in solar panels from wish and turn it into the entirely sure but I'm pretty sure that these are the items we need for our windmill which is actually going to hopefully power something I have really no idea what I'm getting into even when I made the video I said a hundred thousand likes as a joke and I was gonna buy this pretty expensive windmill and little did I know that that wasn't all I needed to buy that was just one part of the windmill that I needed to buy and in reality I needed my other parts as well to make it actually work so we have the two parts that should make it work here I think I don't like I said I don't really know what we're gonna open these up and see what we're working with again guys I just want to remind you that this is in fact the most expensive unboxing we have done today oh my god alright folks so this is this is our power inverter now I would love to explain to you what this does but I don't know I'm not the electrician I actually had to consult an electrician to figure out what items we needed for this and this is what they told me we needed a power inverter so 12 volt 110 volt I don't know what this means DC to AC I literally have no idea what to do with this but this is this is our first item I'm gonna unbox what I think is our second item we need the windmill I don't know how the windmill would fit in this but this is one of the biggest packages we have so I think that's what this is I'm not gonna lie I'm a little confused right now I don't know what else this would be this is not a windmill Oh this isn't what I thought it was they sent me a bunch of stuff you might have seen it on my Instagram story they sent me like a Christmas gift it's a random company not sponsored I'm sure they hoped that I would put this in the video and well now it's in I don't know if you guys want me to actually review this in another video let me know it's a phone case and an air pod power case and a mag bar so that you can kind of charge your stuff and put it on a wall but this is not what we are here for so I'm editing I'm gonna put this to the side and see if I can find the windmill in my endless amount of boxes over on the wall behind you right this is the only other extremely large package we have in the office right now so either it's this or it got lost in the mail and we're just gonna have to extend this video even longer okay this is super random what the hell is this oh yeah I'm now I thought we had the windmill but apparently we don't so I'm gonna have to figure that out and I'll see you guys when we when we do but at least we got one half of the video I think we finally got the final piece of the windmill puzzle and I'm sorry it's taken this long we had to order a whole nother windmill because the last one well as you guys saw I was missing some pieces but I think in fact I pray that this one has everything we need so we can finally get this set up alright let's take a look inside and see what we are working oh my lord okay this looks a little more promising more more windmill esque I don't know what the other thing looks like to be honest I don't really know what these are supposed to look like but it says air on it you know that's always a good sign okay so I'm guessing we attach the blades to this gotta be gentle okay that's it I'm guessing the Blazer in here they better be if we get another one with no blades we're gonna have some issues come on please okay okay okay so we have three blades sharp these are like swords something like this got a vibe okay so I think this goes on the front and then the blades are gonna go in like so Oh baby I was gonna spin and power things but now we have to actually construct our windmill so uh I'm gonna bring some people who know a lot more about this than I do and I'll see you bro all right ladies and gentlemen it's finally complete this is the day we've all been waiting for for a very very long time we've got our windmill right here yeah I'll quickly explain to you how this works I'm not gonna go into too much detail because I'm sure most of you don't care but I know a few of you do so basically this works in two stages this generates our power which goes into our battery and charges the battery then you take the power from the battery into this inverter the inverter then goes into your car in my case or whatever else it is you're trying to charge and hopefully you power it now this is from wish the inverter is from which the batteries not from wish okay we had to get one item that wasn't from which but everything else it's it's from which okay so we're gonna see if these work it's questionable whether they will but in order to make it work we need some wins so let's bring it outside okay guys were taking a little break from filming the open Mel video cuz Jay has to finish an and loaded we're hooked up to the battery now we just need this thing to start spinning guess it's not really windy and odd way okay we'll be right back okay so I did some research and it turns out Ottawa is just really not windy like ever in fact there's not a windy enough day for this to actually work for the next month so we're in a bit of a pickle right now in fact it's not even sunny enough here to have solar panels so Auto is just not a great spot for trying to get natural power unless maybe it's hydro I don't know needless to say this isn't working right now so when you don't have wind you got to make wind so we're gonna use a leaf blower I'm gonna try turbo [Music] all right so this didn't really work but I have another idea so we've come inside mostly because it's freezing outside also because I think we can do this inside since we're not using the actual power of the wind yeah we got this big don't do fan right here and we're gonna try and use that to make it feel like there's wind and make the winter by internet small and I have to get it same level so I'm gonna try to keep this to the top okay where I could just stand here no suck my face all right the fan is in place we're now gonna take power from the mall Aria power again I know this doesn't make sense okay that's not what we're here to do we're just gonna try and make a windmill work alright stop with the comments I know they're coming so leave me alone this is the only way we could do it alright let's plug this bad boy in and see if our plan works we have no idea if it's even gonna work Oh windmills turning very slowly closer okay it's working pretty well but I want to make it work better I'm also blowing a lot of dust off the I'm not gonna keep using this but it seems to be working well enough so we're just gonna use the malls power to power our windmill and power our battery and then hopefully power my car but we've got to wait about four and a half hours for this thing to actually charge up the battery fully so that we can use it and test it out with some other items so I'll see you guys when that's done all right guys it's been about four and a half hours give or take but we should have our battery fully charged so we don't need the windmill going anymore I'm gonna unplug it and we're gonna test it out and the first thing we're gonna test is charging my phone it's the most mandatory thing before you can get in your car you got to be able to charge your phone moment of truth almost dead in fact so I do need a charge I'm gonna plug it in okay we're in and it's charging it actually works oh my god a windmill powered my phone we're not quite to a windmill powered my Tesla but a windmill did power my phone but I want to test this out because a Tesla takes more power than this phone does so we need to like just max this thing out and make sure it's gonna work on my Tesla before we actually go back outside and the frigid cold so we've got a little display for you guys all right guys in order to test out how much this battery and inverter can take got all of the lighting equipment in the office plug it in see what happens all right here we go first one okay that's one - oh okay three four Wow I think it's gonna work for all of them bye okay that's all six lights are all on right now all right so we managed to turn on some lights which is pretty impressive but can we actually do something I don't know about you guys but I love my coffee so we brought our curing over here we're gonna plug this bad boy in all right power all right it turns on pop our cup in okay okay I think it's working it's boiling water right now you can you can you hear that yeah it's not this soothing clothes I swear it's making the water hot come on work please work oh let's go a hot cup of joe is on the way oh look at the steam come on that's windmill steam ladies and gentlemen ice windmill steam you ever had a coffee made with the window no you haven't but I have to I'm about to it's the things that happen on this channel all right windmill coffee window coffee all of our coffee is made with natural energy that could be a business idea don't steal that time to test it out windmill coffee oh come on you can taste the window my point is it's better than regular coffee okay this is no normal coffee powered from whatever power you're at house outlet no this is powered from a wish window and you can taste the difference it really is just it's impeccable it really is I might start a windmill coffee brand keep your eyes peeled for it but if it can make coffee maybe it can power my Tesla so let's head outside for the grand finale it's time to charge the Tesla is that cool yeah yeah did I look cool yeah should I put shades on no that's good enough yeah okay let's do it all right guys first things first we got to open up the charging port now we need our charging cable now of course there's two different types of charging cables that come with the Tesla one is a proper test the charging port that you might see in a house or in like a mall in the parking garage or something like that and then there's another one that you can actually just plug directly into a wall so that's what we're gonna be using it takes a long time to charge your car but it does work so we're gonna put this end into our battery this end into our Tesla and we're gonna see if it charges okay now we do have our windmill out here which to be honest we don't really need it we already charged the battery but just for aesthetics you know we figured we'd bring it back out and we do have it hooked up just in case a little bit of wind blows but as you can see as with the other day not working - good we're gonna plug this yes I know my test is extremely dirty okay it's the middle of winter there's salt everywhere there's snow there's slush it's just it you just accept it during the winter okay you'd understand if you live here but this is blue right now which means it's ready to be charged we need it to go green if it goes green it means it's charging all right moment of truth um [ __ ] all right guys we're getting some notifications from the car it is registering that we're trying to charge so it's unable to charge check charging equipment and then unable to charge with mobile connector inadequate outlet grounding try a different outlet so somehow it knows we're using an inverter I guess I don't know if there's a solution to this but we're gonna try and figure it out hi guys so unfortunately we weren't able to charge the Tesla initially as you guys saw because the power source wasn't grounded and somehow the Tesla was able to read that probably for a good reason to protect the car and people in the car but that means our answer to the question of today's video of whether or not you can charge your Tesla using a windmill from wish is probably not you know in reality unless maybe there's a different inverter that you can somehow ground on which then maybe there's a way to do it but with what we got it's a no unless you happen to have an electrician friend handy which I do and they're able to hook you up with a cord that allows you to convince your Tesla that it's grounded even when it's not which is probably not the smartest thing to do and that's why I'm not gonna tell you guys how to do it but we you know we're trained professionals here so well I'm not but other people are and we're gonna do it very quickly and see if it works so here goes nothing yeah cute intense music hi we're opening the charging port again got to put this end and see if we're able to convince the Tesla and not kill ourselves ready Oh yes it's working it's working let's go me okay yes okay we managed to do it for like very small amount of time so technically we charged it did we fully charge it no I don't think that was ever gonna be the goal but we did a little bit so somewhat of a success but if you guys want to see me do more videos with natural power like we could get a solar panel and see if I can charge my car with that or we could get a dam I don't know if you can just get a dam but there's other ways we can try
