I Added Magic & Spells To Minecraft...

what if minecraft had magic spells magic wands and yes even that fancy wizards hat you've always wanted to wear i've often wondered what minecraft would look like if there was an update that expanded on the presence of magic in minecraft beyond enchantments and the brewery my name is system z and this is what minecraft would look like if it had magic if you enjoyed the video consider subscribing it's completely free and you can unsubscribe at any time i don't know about you guys but the minecraft witch has always seemed a little suspicious what if they could be cured into something new [Music] the first step into our magic system is to navigate the powers of the witch and actually use the standard practices of curing to go ahead and cure the witch into a wizard which can be a pretty difficult challenge considering they do have potions at their exposure but after a while as you can see and a lot of poison later the wizard will actually be summoned the wizard is essentially the centerpiece to this entire mod and in this case as you could see we can actually trade with the wizard to access all of the different magic items that we have to offer now in this case we've got the wizard staff we've got the tomes which can be used to create spell tones and of course bottles of enchanting because in order to use magic you're going to need experience well would you look at that everything we need nicely packed into a pile now we can go ahead and trade with the wizard and as you can see here the trades are not too expensive now this is really just for example this may change if something like this were to be added in the game because honestly it is a little cheap to get into the wonderful world of magic and minecraft now we are going to need four tomes because this is how you craft spell tomes which is how you actually use magic and of course xp because as i said we do need experience so that being said let's go ahead and create our first spell tome shall we and it all starts with the smithing table which we can use to craft all of our wonderful spell tomes but first phil eger has something to say hello there my friend today is a very special day for a limited time smithing table along with some new and old items found throughout the world of minecraft in this case we've got a brute heart which you can imagine would be dropped from a piglet brute and when combined with the tome would allow you to create our first spell tome flames of the nether and then of course rotten flesh to create cloud of the undead wither skeleton's goal for a shadow of the wither and everyone's favorite channeling for you guessed it strike of the storm all of these are absolutely amazing and are very very cool you can use them in the offhand with the wizard staff to actually summon your first spell but maybe we shouldn't do it in here it would be a little dangerous how about instead we challenge a good friend of ours to a wizard duel but first we're actually going to need to get something from the wizards so without further ado let's go ahead and take this guy out shall we because he actually drops something very special and very handy that's going to make our job just a little bit easier well it would if the lightning didn't get rid of it there we go that's a little bit better this is the wizard hat which is dropped by the wizard or sold by the wandering trader you can actually wear it to reduce the amount of xp used by 50 so that way we can use our spells without worrying about spending so much xp this is definitely going to come in handy with that being said let's go ahead and challenge our friend to a wizard duel i want wizard stuff where's the chest i have a chance well hang on hang on i i've heard recently that you've you've been engaged that's not a private private business that's true but now look i'm here i'm here to win you over so look dream might have a green suit uh good smile you know he's beautiful teeth you could smile um i might have a dirt house but i also have magic and i i just think it's gonna win you over a little bit if i'm being honest take a look all right all right there you go all right there's the okay okay i like it can i grab everything uh not the top row okay i'm just stealing okay so here you're gonna need a little bit of xp just throw that down so i'm just gonna this is uh my little pet here and i don't have a name but do you want a name real quick what would you name this guy um i would name him i would probably not name him because he's most likely going to die in a few seconds now yeah get that door out of here pick number seven okay so i have created uh spells right it's a full-on magic system we've got a wand right i've got a wizard hat you should go ahead and put yours on just to so that there we go there we go yep here we go here we go check this out oh oh okay well uh wrong target but all right he also died i was i was expecting him to turn into a pigment at least but yeah there you go just to get a little bit of payback there there's a lot of damage yeah a lot of damage it yeah they're very very powerful very dangerous and you'll notice they use xp but the good thing is we actually have wizards hats and so we get the benefits of being a wizard you better be careful with that thing oh watch his watches this is this is mlg stuff right here oh snap you missed it i'm not i'm not a pro yet i don't have my uh wizarding degree yeah you know i've noticed i've definitely noticed yeah oh that's how you draw that's how you do it like a pro yeah no but we've got so many different types we've got here i'll give you a little present oh my god that so it does charge up which is great um so you can get it to go faster and the best part is yeah all right there we go there it is and see sometimes you're just stuck out in the woods and you need uh you need a flame right because it's cold but not in the desert it's a little hot out here i'm not gonna lie this is all the property of like a heat stroke that's why i'm going mad but uh yeah we should all right let's just ignore that you know you know i was about to say oh it's fire well i was about to say um so there's this thing right uh well i don't wanna i don't wanna no no no no that's just that's witchcraft if i've ever seen it all right z hit hit the campfire with the flame all right hang on i only have strike of the storm so oh it worked it worked look at this see this is what's beautiful about magic now i do i do want to try something if that's okay with you i don't know it's a little bit of a pvp session but there's a place we need to go if in the world of magic there's one school that i think would fit this the best we're in hogwarts or mine warts there's warts that listen system z if that's your real name you insulted my mother for the last time i didn't do that but all right mustache man hey that's going too far that's going too far i'll take you down with a head or without that actually doesn't do much damage i'm just gonna i'm just gonna slap you with my stick that might be more efficient to be fair yeah see you made fun of the fire but it really it does a lot it does a lot my friend the only thing i'm not oh god that whapped a punch dude the shield didn't even work the shield does not work well funny i declare you the winner of magic you are hereby declared headmaster of mansion uh warts you've got warts now so i go the entire mansion is burning down ah doesn't it all sound so amazing dwayne dwayne my pet rock i'll tell you what you need a little bit of a fire for the fireplace and after all i'm a magic wizard now so i can do that sort of stuff ah phil good old phil and good old vil the workshop is looking clean and they've been taking care of everything you gotta love it that is going to do it for today's video but not without first feeding dwayne because he can get a little hungry what can i say he's a very hungry looking dwayne the bedrock that being I would also love this. It just makes more sense to be a mod rather than vanilla

This would certainly be an interesting feature. Maybe potion effects used as spells, and you need to actually craft the potions and store them as spells.

Makes it so existing game mechanics can be used for something else. I like variety in item usage.

Just imagine how fun it could be to develop this into creating new and fun enchantments and spells while having amazing new items and objects!
