Obsession pass their life or quitting because it made them unhappy to play which is I think the other very valid reason it's like not that they want to but sort of they have to because of the what it their life that made it so they couldn't play in terms of like a job or another video game right like yeah Armada is doing 64 speed running but it's not like uh you know God came down and said you must play Mario now and that's why you can't play melee no reason Armada and M King stopped playing melee is because I made it made them unhappy it's it's no it's no um it's no secret even Ming made a video not recently about it he's you know doing things make him happier so it makes sense [Music] but the unforgivingness of the game the community is a different story that's we can go into a lot of arguments about that but the unforgiveness of melee I think is what makes it very special to win at or to do a big you know comeback story on you know what I mean like to come back to this game and start winning again everyone really wants to see it that's why it's cuz everyone's aware of how [ __ ] it is everyone everyone's aware of of the the mountain you have to climb if you want to be good at this game again does that make [Music] sense so yeah that's why when you see Kevin match up against me on on ranked pick a game everyone's like holy [ __ ] this guy's still really good I'm like yeah let's [ __ ] go but then to not want to explore that for fear of um I mean I know with Kevin had health issues musing armato is more of a I don't want to do with the community or the fandoms and all that [ __ ] that comes with it to understand too the reason fandom exists is because the game is that brutal does that Mak that make sense like I don't think the level of loyalty and how Wild the fans can be of Smash would exist if it was uh a calmer or easygoing game you know I think games that are calm easy going and don't punish mistakes they can be fun but they die those games die
