Huge Farm Auction! Tons of BARN FIND Buys!

foreign and good morning Silas back again today and today I am headed to an auction now I did not plan on going to this auction this was kind of the one that just popped up now I I knew there was going to be an auction in that area at that time but I didn't know what was going to be there and they hadn't posted pictures and I thought it was just going to be a typical auction where there's a bunch of household stuff and tools and things like that and I thought there might be a couple pieces of farm equipment but nothing I'd be interested in come to find out there's several old trucks an old car there's some pretty cool stuff there and then there's just tons of scrap now normally we don't go to auctions to buy scrap you guys know that however at this auction it's like five minutes away from our main yard it's just right down the street pretty much so we're gonna go buy scrap this time it is super foggy and cold today and so actually I knew it was gonna be kind of bad weather this weekend so I went out earlier in the week and looked everything over as they were dragging it out and setting it out so I'll go ahead and play that footage here that way I don't have to walk around again this morning and freeze my fingers off and the auction starts here in about 45 minutes or so so I'm headed that way so check out the stuff and then we'll cut back over to the auction all sorts of junk this whole Superior is kind of neat don't see anything super good yet looks like mostly the scrap iron back here bunches and bunches of iron out here all lined up down here this is all just scrap iron right here in this tree row all this is crap here check out this trailer this is kind of neat with this little box on it yeah I like that I'll have to see if I can get that but a bunch of the junk tractors he's here a pretty little scrap these here might be better than scrap I don't know they look pretty rough too we'll have to see junk combines you name it I need these I've got a demand for these augers they need to cut down a little bit this long one here bunch more scrap down through here somewhere there's some Vehicles out here that's what I'm really looking for there we go I found them big old truck big old Super Duty cut the hood scoop on it pretty clean looking little cab not in too bad of shape really and here's another one of the main things I wanted this side's kind of rough in the pictures they only showed this side but this is an old Dodge bed here it's got a lot of good pieces on this bed that's not too bad inside God may be able to work with that more old tractors a couple of these look pretty nice I think this little b and this little H will bring good money the other ones honestly will probably just go for scrap old loader that's a dinosaur right there here's another old super duty 850. this is a tilt forward cab and here's the trucks I really like right here looks like about a 46 Chevy this is right up my alley this old F4 is in pretty good shape I like this one too most of these vehicles here are actually parked inside this big building yeah this truck here these are the main two I'm interested in we got an old Ford what is that about a 70 69 or 70 somewhere around there Mercury Grand Marquis the Galaxy 500 I like this one here too LTD these are all just Scrappers here F250 F250 looks like about a 68 or 69 GMC three-quarter ton some more iron laying around out here in the trees one thing I really like so far I haven't hardly seen any trailers full of stuff I've seen I think two trailers full of small stuff so that's usually what takes the longest of these sails so I really don't know that this is gonna be that big of a sandwich it's a big sale but it's all big stuff mainly check out this old building it's got the old tent it's made to look like bricks on it the place has been out of commission for a long time though lunch is iron all through here what's this thing that's kind of neat some sort of something I kind of like that though I'll have to remember that's there the sales not for a few days yet they'll probably just sell this whole pile all together one money which man I don't know if we want it or not it's right down the street but man a lot of work all sorts of iron [Music] punches old lights clear full front to back I'm sure they'll clean a bunch of this stuff out but they've got a few days yet of working out here it's hard telling what all's in here another cool old building huh has been used in a lot of years Bunches of scrap but it looks like there's a few good things mixed in with it [Music] pulled forward it looks like we're almost there but it is seriously foggy out this morning look at this crazy number 154. so if you hear him say sold 154 you know it was me this is actually gonna be my dad's number two he's coming out to this auction I'm gonna let him bid on the scrap and I'll bet on the old stuff check this whole thing out I've got one about just like that a little bit different but mine's not on a cart it's just the the apparatus here that's sitting on a pallet or a skid I guess it is check these out pretty cool they'll probably go for double what they're worth they are there are a ton of junkers here today so nothing's going cheap everything's going high of course the stuff on the trailers is going high too everybody's got a lot of money in their pocket and they're looking to spend it so everybody's out here buying stuff I think my dad bought a couple things over here and I keep like yeah he bought that one there and then he bought the combine over here he tried to buy this while I was putting those old toys in my truck that I bought but it went for like 400 or 450 bucks just crazy I'd sell the one we have for that I like this dodge tailgate you guys know me and my Dodges there's a bunch of stuff over here I think these lights are pretty neat little wash tubs [Music] yeah yeah 125 on 154 on the old hey Harpoon sold her 35 on number I want to get a steering wheel piece a bunch of old gears some good stuff in there and then I ended up having to buy all the contents because I wanted this gear down here I didn't make it over here in time for Choice I'm done bitten though the old house is pretty dilapidated about 25 about 25 years ago or so I was a real little kid we came out here and bought some cars from this guy and he's still living in the house back then but it's all falling apart now there's some cool old buildings back here some sort of radio tower in here it's kind of interesting here's the guy wires guide wires cool old buildings back here I don't think there's anything in them but I guess we'll go check them out smells like chemicals or fertilizer or something stinks yeah there's what I'm smelling don't see anything worth dying in there oh it stinks okay 150 75 175 100 70 well we're going through inspection what we bought now about this truck here main thing I wanted on this is this toolbox if you guys pay a lot of a lot of attention to my videos you know Sean has one just like this and these things are extremely hard to find and they're worth a ton of money when you do find them so I've been wanting one of these things for a very long time so now I finally have one we didn't buy either of these we did buy the 63 I think this is this whole galaxy here we got it but I don't remember what we gave you can look back to the video and you'll know we bought this one for scrap and then we bought this car here and what's cool about this old Galaxy is we found this photo that's of this car in 1978 when it was sitting in his driveway of his house kind of crazy and then of course I bought this truck here they called it a 46 but this is definitely a 41 truck it's got the uh the Pontiac I think they were little covers on top and then also it has the little pot metal trim around the back window it's kind of hard to see but this cab here is actually really solid the doors have some Rust in them down here at the bottom but the cab is pretty solid the fenders are pretty solid headlights the grille's got a little bit of damage but not too bad so pretty cool truck really probably can find a home for it this truck here I bought but I actually already sold it so it's headed to a new home it's paid for so I don't even get a haul that one home that's a real cool truck not a speck of rust in that whole thing got a V8 in it really really nice truck so uh you'll have to be pretty happy with that one I bought this old utility box here this is a pretty nice one really there's no rust in it it's an older one okay 250 bucks for it I think I can make a little money on it it's an enclosed one so I think I can do pretty good on that we bought these big things here for scrap I bought this yellow trailer over here I didn't really want to buy it but I only gave 375 dollars for it I think I can sell it for a little bit of profit triple axle trailer good for a farmer to use and then I bought this whole pickup bed trailer basically bought it for scrap price I mainly just want the old tailgate off of it for a wall hanger kind of neat little Chevrolet tailgate and it's got this propane tank in it I don't know what I'll do with that I'll find a use for it eventually it's kind of crazy I think he was using it for a diesel tank which is good for me because that'll make it easier to cut open if I have to you know honestly I was expecting to buy quite a few tractors a day but the only one I bought was this one here and then I bought that small combine Outback a lot of extra parts of this but it's just scrap nobody wants these tractors and even these other tractors all went for just over scrap value bought the old Oliver Superior we bought some more of this stuff in here for scrap but I kind of wanted that just because it's neat and then I bought both of these here main reason why I bought this is for the wheels and for the hubcaps it's got artillery wheels and it's got Dodge Brothers on the back and Packard on the front I thought those are kind of neat and then this one over here has Buick hubcaps on it my dad bought all this stuff down here Bunches of neat rotary hose all sorts of cool stuff and those Wafers down there and then he bought some more up on top everything up on top I bought those are kind of neat for arts and crafts there's another group of them down here that I bought and stashed down there we're not going to haul this home today we just don't have time for it all I'm gonna grab some of my more valuable stuff and leave the rest for now I've got a pretty extreme migraine right now so I'm not too rambunctious about loading anything I did buy those really nice lights those light shades and a Dodge truck tailgate and that old uh chair and I paid pretty good money for that stuff so probably go ahead and get that stuff today and there's a couple other just little things in the other building I'll probably just go ahead and grab it while I'm here but as far as the other stuff goes I'm probably gonna wait till next week I gotta load trucks all day Monday and then after that I'll probably come out here and start working on this well I got a little bit of stuff loaded up as much as I'm going to do but I cannot believe how much money this junk brought this pal right here brought nineteen hundred dollars just insane and I mean I've gone through it a couple times now walking past it and I can't see there being more than about 10 tons there so that's 190 a ton they paid for that stuff and right now A prepared iron in this area is about 190 a ton is what it's going for so for high time so man that's just crazy there's no way they're gonna make money that old GMC went a little bit higher than what I wanted to give but a buddy of mine bought it so that's all good he's going to clean it up get it running and driving and resell it I really wanted these old Super Duties I thought they were super cool but not for as much money as they went for if it wasn't for me they would have went a lot cheaper I bet them up quite a bit I think he got that one for 1800 and I think he got that one for 2200 if I remember right I probably should have bid a couple more times on this one here but he was going to buy it no matter what so why bid him up for no reason and I probably overpaid on my little trailer here I don't really know why I bought it but that's okay it's kind of a neat trailer I may just sell the topper off of it keep the trailer I haven't decided yet and then my school bus I think that was kind of the deal of the day there I only gave 600 bucks for this and it's pretty ratty inside but I think the roof on it is good it's got an ammonia tank in it that's nice I didn't know that was in here but yeah I think I could clean this out use it for storage or something I mean even if I just scrap it I can make money on it but it's a pretty cool bus I don't remember what motor was in this and there went a fingernail just an old V8 probably a 283 might be a 327 but it's probably 283. but still it's something kind of a shame to scrap it out if I do scrap it out I'll probably try to save these wheel wells off of it and cut those out because those are just super super cool like I say I've got to load trucks on Monday so I can't come out here then but I think the game plan is sometime next week I'm going to come out here and a lot of this stuff we're gonna have to cut up like we bought that there that there got to cut those up the next piece I think we bought it and then I don't think we got the next one but we did get the next one after that and there's just a few other pieces out here that we bought so we're gonna have to get all that cut up I'll just bring a loader out here all this area out here in the open I probably won't do this until probably middle of the week or later in the week that way people have a chance to get stuff out of here I won't be in their way but we'll just lay it all out here in this open driveway area so I can cut it up without running the place down this header here I bought this this has got really really cool stars on it on this part and then this auger has that good orange color to it we can cut that in half and make some some sort of trees or Towers or something out of that so all that'll sell really good didn't get that one bought I did buy this truck bed here I don't really want the bed itself it's just a piece of junk but it's got kind of a cool tailgate on it says Dodge on the side so I want to keep that for me and then I figured we could use this for storage we'll go around and gather up all of those that we bought and the rotary hose and all that sort of stuff and we'll stack it all in here it'll be a good container to haul all that stuff home I forgot I bought this box trailer here the trailer itself probably isn't anything it's got those funky trailer house axles on it but the box is kind of neat it's in pretty good shape it's got a door on it still pretty clean inside I think you can probably use it for something that's got a workbench in it and you guys know I have my storage where I keep all my eBay stuff and I didn't really leave room to work on anything in there I just filled it clear full of shelves so I figured I could park this right next to that and then now I have a workbench and that sort of stuff and I could even run electricity to this and put a light in it there's a lot of stuff I could do there it goes he's actually got a car at my place he's already paid for he needs to come pick up I need to give him a hard time I guess he's leaving now I should have though but yeah there's some more rotary hoes out back that I don't think I even filmed buying I might have I can't remember now it's been a long day I'm tired but uh we have a ton of stuff out here that I know I did the film that we bought Bunches of scrap metal it's gonna be a pretty major cleanup so probably I'm just guessing probably the next video
