hello today I'm actually going to show you that you can use your TIG welder when you weld copper it's most common that you use the lead as we all know if you want you can use your TIG welder to put those pieces together that you want to weld it's very important that you clean everything and one thing that is very good to know that the copper is extremely hot when you start to weld so if you think aluminum is hot it's it's nothing to compare to copper the only thing that you have to do is have a much higher emp'd on the welder and I'm going to use this is one millimeter thickness of the copper so if this is stainless steel and will probably use around 30 to 45 amperage but when I'm going to run this I am going up to probably 180 to 190 okay that stops as I said I'll keep those to porch that I'm going to well with the TIG welder I have some scotch brite to clean and I have used acetone as well I'm going to use the TIG welder to start with I stuck with around 190 Ambridge now listen then I maybe go a little bit lower we'll see how we start I have a cup 6 so that hormone is around 6 and a half of the settings so let's start and I will use the post function of this very good I have terminal fallacy you can see it's changing the color so it's getting really really hot and soon it's done and you can see it's completely almost black now but you just put this copper now in cold water and it will get quite shiny again [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] so now you know that you can use your TIG welder to weld copper I did it just for fun to show you that you can use your welder to more than just aluminum or stainless or whatever you want but don't forget when you try it it's getting very very hot okay bye
