your words are powerful? Did you know that in your
mouth lies a mighty miracle? Today, we're going to be
talking about how to use your words to release
supernatural breakthrough. Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back on

quicken your mortal body. Welcome to "Life More
Abundantly," beloved. This is your host,
Dr. Kynan Bridges, and I'm so glad that
you're here with us today. I want to ask
you a question. Did you know that
your words are powerful? The Bible tells us in
Proverbs chapter 18, verse 21 that death and
life are in the power of the tongue. Death and life are in
the power of the tongue. You know, years ago, there
was a Swedish scientist that came up with a
concept by which he began to measure the
power of sound, and he realized that
sound had the power to move matter. The same is
true of our words, beloved. Your words have the power
to move things in your life. The Bible says in
Hebrews chapter 11, verse three that,
"Through faith, we understand that the
worlds were framed by the Word of God so that things
which are seen are not made of things
which do appear." You know, oftentimes when
I talk to Christians about words and about the
things that we speak, they say things
like, "Oh, you know, that's just that
new wave stuff, and that's all
that, you know, name-it-and-claim-it,
blab-it-and-grab-it." Well, you know, regardless
of what you want to think about what the scripture
says about words, it is evident
in our lives. In fact, I did some
research some time ago, and I saw an interesting
article about a woman who had plants. She kept a bunch of
plants in her house, and she had two plants
that were of the same species of plants. They were the same
size, the same species. She bought them
at the same time. One plant, she put here. The other plant, she
put somewhere else, but they were in the
same, you know, space. They weren't ... One wasn't outdoors and the other
one was indoors, and she spoke to
the plant every day. The one plant,
let's call it plant A. She says, "You know what? You're beautiful.
You're an amazing plant. You're going to grow
and flourish and be wonderful." Every day, she spoke
kind words to this plant. She began to admonish the
plant and begin to exhort the plant,
encourage the plant, and the plant just grew
stronger and stronger, bigger and bigger, more
and more flourishing, but then the other plant,
which we'll call plant B, she spoke negative
words to the plant. She said,
"You're horrible. You're ugly. You're
not going to live long. You're probably going to
die," and that plant began to diminish.
Its leaves turned brown, and it began to become
black and rotten. You see, our words, no doubt,
have significant power and influence over the
world around us. Why? Because God created
the world with words. In Genesis
chapter one, he said, "Let there be light,"
and there was light. In Genesis chapter two,
God told Adam to name the animals, and whatever he
named the animals was the name thereof because the
words that he spoke formed the destinies, the nature
and the assignment of every animal in
the Garden of Eden, and I believe that our
words are more powerful than we often realize. The Bible tells us in the
Word of God that we shall have what we say. Now, how many of us
really believe that? How many of us
really believe that? I mean, think about
this for a second. Look at what we
say casually. "Oh, this person
makes me sick. Oh, they're crazy. Oh, they're
driving me nuts, driving me insane," and we
wonder why we're getting checked in to
loony houses. It's because of
what we are saying. I don't mean any offense
by the term loony house. I know we live
in a, you know, a postmodern society where
you have to be careful what you say in this
politically correct society, but the point is that we shall
have what we say. Now, I want to take my
time on this because this is one of the teachings
that many Christians don't understand. We don't
understand that victories are won with our words. Victories are won with
the words that we speak. What are you speaking? What's coming
out of your mouth? What are you
declaring, even in jest? What are you saying, even
in the privacy of your own home? Because just because
someone doesn't hear what you said out
loud, guess what? You heard it. Guess who else heard it?
God heard it. Guess who else heard it?
The devil heard it. Guess who else? The
angels heard it. Guess who else?
Demons heard it. Our words affect the very
fabric of the world around us. This is why
Hebrews 11:3 says that, "The worlds were created." They were established. They were set into proper
order and being by the Rhema Word of God. That is the
spoken Word of God, that which was spoken. God didn't think the
world into existence. He didn't imagine the
world into existence. He didn't conjure the
world into existence. He spoke the
world into being, and in the same manner,
if you're going to see breakthrough in your life,
you've got to speak it out of your mouth. You have to say
out of your mouth, loud with an
auditory declaration. An auditory declaration,
you have to say out of your mouth,
"You know what? I'm coming out of this. You know what? I am healed by the
stripes of Jesus. You know what? I have the mind of Christ.
I'm not going crazy. I'm not going
schizophrenic. I'm not bipolar.
I have the mind of Christ." You have to speak it
out of your mouth. You have to say, "My
children will serve the Lord." You have to say,
"You know what? My loved ones
will be saved." You have to say,
"You know what? I shall live and not die
and declare the works of the Lord." When the doctor gives
you a sentence of death, a negative prognosis,
a negative diagnosis, you have to say,
"You know what? I will live and not die." You have to say it
out of your mouth. It's amazing that
before we were saved, we understood the
power of words, the power of conversation. Let me give
you an example. Did you know that one
conversation can change your entire mood?
Am I telling the truth? One conversation can
change your entire mood. You can have one
conversation with gossiping Janet
at your church, and by the time
she's through with you, your whole
emotions, your whole mind, your whole spirit
is just jacked up. In the same way, you
can have an encouraging conversation with
Brother George, and Brother
George can tell you, "You know what? I believe you're going
to make it through this. I believe God is going
to take you through it. I believe that the power
of God is working in your life," and through
the declaration and the conversation of
that brother, your spirit can be lifted. You see the difference? Life and death are in
the power of your tongue, and they that love it
will eat its fruit, hallelujah. Many Christians still
carelessly speak with their words. They're careless. We say things carelessly,
and I'm telling you, this is one of
the most ... This is one of the
most flagrant areas in the Body of Christ. This is where we violate
the Law of God the most, not sexual immorality,
not drugs and alcohol, not all these
quote-unquote big sins, but it's in this area. Jesus said,
"By your words, you shall be justified,
and by your words, you shall be condemned." That ought to teach you
that God thinks a lot about what you say. He actually says, "Whoever
calls his brother a fool, thou fool, is in
danger of hellfire." [Laughs] Your
words are powerful, beloved, what you say,
what comes out of your mouth, and you
know who knows this? The devil knows it. That's why he's always
trying to get you to give him license with the
words that you speak. Did you know that your
words are the license of the realm of the Spirit? Your
words give license not only to angels but to demons. The Bible says in the book
of Psalms that "The angels hearken to the
voice of God's Word." One time, God gave me a
revelation to change my life. He said to me ... He said, "Kynan, words are
the air traffic control of heaven," the air
traffic control of heaven. Have you ever
been on a plane? You know that the pilot
doesn't just look out the window and just wings it.
He doesn't wing it. He gets information from air
traffic control on the ground. What happens on the
ground tells them what to do in the air. Are you hearing
what I'm saying? The same is true of
the realm of the Spirit. Jesus said, "Whatever
you bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven. Whatever you loose on the
Earth shall be loosed in Heaven," and God said many
times angels have been sent on assignment
to come to believers, but the angel,
when they got there, they thought they had the
wrong address because the words didn't match
what they were praying. Beloved, I want to
encourage you today, but I want to ask you this
question before we go to our next segment. I want to ask you, how
powerful are your words? I want to hear
your responses. Don't go anywhere. Don't touch that button. We'll be right back on

I get from others is they say that I'm
very encouraging. I'm good at counseling,
and I give them good insight so from what
others have told me ... >> Words are
really powerful. They can bring people up. They can tear people down. They can bring
people together, so I think words
have a lot of impact, and I think that we
need to recognize that. >> Words can be
very powerful. I think actions
speak louder than words. Actions have
more power to them, but I find them
pretty powerful. I think they have the
power to change how people think, to influence
people, so powerful. >> Pretty powerful
because, I mean, your words become
mindset, and that's, like, I mean, like, the more
you ... like, the more ... The stuff that you
say eventually becomes, like, what you think,
so I would say that, like, if you're speaking
positivity in your life, then that's
just kind of ... That's going to be the
mindset that you stick with, that kind of thing,
and the same thing with negativity as well, so. KB: Welcome back, beloved,
to "Life More Abundantly." Listen. Those were some very
powerful responses. You know, earlier, I
mentioned that our words are powerful.
I mentioned before that Hebrews chapter 11
verse three says, "Through faith, we
understand that the worlds were framed
by the Word of God so that things
which are seen are not made of things
which do appear." Simply put, God created
the ages and established the cosmos with
His spoken Word. You and I can do the same. We create our
world with our words. Let me tell you something. I'm telling you a lot of
people don't realize this, but it will
change your life. You create your
world with your words. This is not a
new age concept. This is a biblical concept that
has been more practiced in the new age community
than in the church. Satan has bastardized this
concept and twisted it, but it originated
in the Word of God. God is the original
positive confessor, not this stuff that we see
on television, you know. I want a house, house,
house, house, house, house. No. God is the one who speaks,
and it comes to pass. He said in Isaiah chapter
55, verse 11, He says, "As the rain
comes down from Heaven and waters the Earth and does
not return but waters the Earth so that it buds and
brings forth fruit in its season, so shall My Word
be that comes forth out of My mouth. It will accomplish
what it was sent to do and prosper in the thing
whereto it was sent." Let me tell you something. Your words set spiritual
forces in motion that manifest in your life.
Write that down. Your words set spiritual
forces in motion that manifest in your life. I remember at the
beginning of my ministry, we didn't have any money,
and I remember hearing all these prophetic words,
all these prophetic words about what we would do
and where we would go, and I thought, "Man, it
doesn't seem feasible." I mean, have you been
there where you thought, "Well, what are
they talking about? I can't even afford
to pay for a passport. What are they
talking about, nations and going to
nations and preaching to thousands of people?" I couldn't see it,
and my pastor said, "You know what? You're going to go
to the nations." I said, "No, I'm not. I
don't have any money. I don't even have a
passport," but what began to happen? I began to come into
agreement with what God spoke about me. I began to come into
agreement with the things God said about me. In fact, the Bible says,
in Romans chapter 10, it says, "If we shall
confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe
in our heart that God has raised Him from the
dead, we shall be saved." The word confession
is a Greek word, homologeo. It's a compound word. Homo means, "The same."
Logeo means, "Speech or to speak." In other
words, it means that when we say what God says ... This is what the Bible
says, "With the heart, man believes, but
with the mouth, confession is made
unto salvation." You see, you will begin to
see the fruit of what you say come into your life,
so what did I begin to do? I said, "You know what? I'm going to the nations. I'm going to the nations. I'm going to
preach the gospel. I'm going to be invited to
speak at all these kinds of places," and guess
what began to happen? People started calling. Doors started to open. It wasn't random.
It wasn't sporadic. It wasn't some, you know,
some mishap that took place. It wasn't haphazard. No, it was the result
of what I was speaking. It was the result of
what I was declaring. Are you hearing
what I'm saying? There was a woman that
came to us who had been dealing with a
melanoma on her skin, skin cancer, and as I
was praying for her, the Lord told me. He said, "Don't
lay hands on her. Don't do any of that." He
said, "Just speak the Word," and I spoke the Word. I said, "You will live and
not die and declared the works of the Lord," and guess
what began to happen? Things began to shift in
her life. In 72 hours, the cancerous growths begin
to fall off of her body. You see, the
Word is powerful. When you learn how
to say what God says, you will thrust your
life into a spiritual supernatural acceleration
of the promises and the power and the purpose
of God for your life. Are you listening to what
I'm telling you today? It's not just about
the words you read. It's about the
words you speak. A lot of people miss this. Well, I went to church,
and I heard a good sermon on Sunday. Did you know
that statistically, human beings are more
likely to accept and believe what comes
out of their own mouth? Let me say that
one more time. Statistically speaking,
human beings are more likely to accept and
believe what comes out of their own mouth.
That's why you have to turn around and
say what God says. It's not enough to hear it.
You got to speak it. It needs to come out of your
own mouth, the Words. If somebody gives
you a prophecy, you got to say it
out of your mouth. As long as it lines up
with the Word of God. If it's something
crazy, that's one thing, but if it lines up
with the Word of God, you ought to say it
out of your mouth. You ought to say the
same thing as God says, the homologeo, to say
the same thing as another, hallelujah. You know, years ago, when
I had chaos and confusion in my life and ministry, I
remember I was standing in line at a restaurant,
and I was praying. I had been
fasting for 3 days. I was believing God for
some answers and some solutions to some serious
problems in my life, and after 3 days of
fasting, I'm sitting in the line of a restaurant about
to eat for the first time in 3 days, and God
asks me a question. He says, "When there was
darkness and chaos in the world,"
He said, "What did I do?" I said, "You spoke
to the darkness, Lord," and this is what
the Lord spoke to me. He said, "Speak to it." Oh, God, I felt
that in my spirit. He said, "Speak to it." See, some of you are
facing a mountain. I dare you today,
speak to that mountain. Don't let that
mountain talk to you. You talk to that mountain. Don't let that
situation intimidate you. You speak to
that situation. Don't let that
sickness talk to you. You talk to that
sickness, and you say, "In the Name of Jesus, I
take authority over you. In the Name of
Jesus, mountain, be removed in my life, in
the mighty Name of Jesus," and you ought to begin
to declare, "My life will begin to look like
Heaven." Listen. When you speak
negative words, your life will begin
to look like Hell, but when you
speak positive words, according to
the Word of God, your life will begin
to look like Heaven. Jesus said,
"Pray this way. My Father who
art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on
Earth as it is in Heaven." I don't know about you,
but I want to release some Heaven in my life, had
enough of the other stuff. Some might say,
"I speak to it." That's what God said. He said, "I
spoke to it, Kynan. You got to speak to it.
I spoke to it." Speak to it, beloved. Speak to that situation
and watch the turnaround for the glory of God.
Listen. You've got to-
write this down. You've got to declare
God's Word over, over natural circumstances
in order to see breakthrough. When you declare God's
Word over your natural circumstances, you
are actually releasing breakthrough
into your life. Listen to this. We must recognize that
God's Word is enough to produce the
miracle that we need. Can I say that
one more time? We have to recognize that
God's Word is enough to release the
miracle that we need. You remember the
Roman centurion, when Jesus was invited to
come to his house and healed his servant,
he told Jesus, "Speak the Word only,
and my servant will be healed." Just speak the Word. You don't have to
come to my house. The Word is enough. I want you to
write this down. This is very
important to catch this. God's Word has
creative power. God's Word has
creative power. You see, when Jesus spoke
to the man in John, chapter five at the
Pool of Bethesda, and He said, "Rise. Take
up your mat and walk." Do you know what
was really happening? The man didn't
have any power. He didn't have
any strength. His muscles
were atrophied. He was totally
debilitated, totally infirmed,
totally disabled, so how did he get
up out of the mat? Because the Word
had the power. The Word had the ability. The Word had the
miraculous supernatural power of God
contained within it, and when Jesus
spoke, Jesus said, "My words are
spirit and life." When Jesus spoke,
something happened that got a man up
after 38 years. I believe the Word went to
every muscle in his body, every bone in his body.
Every cell in his body was infused with the
Word of God. He was able to rise up. That man didn't just
experience a healing. He experienced
a resurrection, and I believe that God
wants to resurrect dead things in your life. Like he told Ezekiel,
"Speak to the dry bones." You ought to speak to
dry bones right now. Somebody ought to speak
to a dry bone in your life right now and watch that
bone live in the Name of Jesus. You know what? In just a moment, I want to pray for
you, and I want to release a word that will
transform your life. I don't you to go
anywhere, beloved. I want you to stay right there
and watch what God does. We'll be right back in

I'm telling you, God wants to do something
miraculous in your life, but you have to partner
with Heaven with the words that you speak. You have to make a
decision that from this point on, I'm going to
say what God says only. I want to say to you
what Jesus was told by the centurion.
Speak the word only, and my servant will be
healed. Some of you need to speak the Word
today. Some of you today need to speak the
Word so that you can see the healing and
miraculous power of God manifest in your life.
Can I pray with you? What I want you to do
now as I pray with you, I want you to stretch your
hands and receive what God has for you. Just stretch your
hands right where you are, anywhere you are. I want you just stretch
your hands towards your television, towards
your computer, towards your phone and receive
this impartation of grace. Father, in Jesus'
Name, I speak the Word. I send Your Word
according to Psalm 107, which says, "He sent his
word and healed them and delivered them from
their destruction." I send the Word of
God to your house. I send the Word of
God to your community. I send the Word of
God to your family, and I declare this
is a healing word. It's a delivering word. It's a salvific word. It's a word of
breakthrough. It's a word of
miraculous power. In the Name of Jesus,
the Rhema Word of God goes before you now,
and I thank You, Lord, that it
is transforming, renewing, reshaping and
restoring the world of the person listening to me. Your world is
shaped by the Word. Your world is being
established by the Word. Your world is being
transformed by the power of the Word of God. In the Name of Jesus,
your life will never be the same again. Your
life will thrust into a new dimension. It will go into
another place, a place that you've never
even experienced before. I decree this
over your life. I declare this
over your life. If you've never
made Jesus your lord, just ask Him into
your heart today. Say, "Lord Jesus,
come in my heart. Heal me. Deliver me. Forgive me of my sins. Make me a new creature." This is your day.
