Canva kind of does it all! Due to popular demand  we are back and better than ever going through   canva hacks. Today we're going to go through  some really cool layering features and font   effects that I thought were really fun to use in  canva for graphics. My name is Megan and if you're   new to my channel, I help business owners go from  confused to confident on social media. I help you   build a loyal community, get quality clients, and  build a more profitable business. This is part two   of my canvas series so make sure you've seen part  one as well. Fun fact, I actually organize all of   the tools that I use for my business in a folder  on my Google Chrome tab and canva is literally   number one on that list so I use it almost every  single day if not multiple times a day. It is so   user friendly and I love the fact that I can  use it on my computer and my phone because I   am on the go working with clients. Today's video  will be really short I'm just going to go through   two really quick things we're going to do some  layering and some font effects like I said earlier   and these are just little things that are going  to up-level your graphics to make you stand out   from your competition. Let's get into it. So first  we're going to start with the layering features.   We're going to go ahead and grab some text and  our goal here is to make it look like I am coming   out of the O in content. So I need to look for  a font where the O is going to be big enough to   work with. I don't want anything too complicated  or crazy I'm just looking for a simple font where   the O is big enough for me to be actually coming  out of. So take some time to find the right font   for you and then it's all about sizing it to fit  around your waist. I chose a photo of me that   my arms are above my waist so it does look like  I'm coming through the O, if you have something   with your arms at your waist it will be a little  harder. So what I did is I copy and pasted myself   and I have my background removed and then just  lined it up perfectly to where you can't tell   there's any, you know, lines there or anything  that doesn't look like it belongs so it actually   looks like I'm going through the O in content. And  then I just added more text to add the other words   to the graphic. But what I really like about this  effect is that it's more eye-catching than just   writing content that converts over you know just a  photo of me. Um so I find it really fun it kind of   looks like a magazine edit and I've seen a couple  people do this so I figured it would be something   fun to share with you guys. Okay for this next one  we're going to go ahead and copy and paste myself   from this page and move it on to page two. I'm  going to remove that shadow and then line myself   up in the middle of the page a little bit bigger  and we're going to play around with some text. I'm   going to copy and paste the text from the first  page just so we have something to work with and   then I'm going to do another layering feature here  and actually layer the word 'content' behind my   head and then 'that converts' it's going to be  over my body so a little bit of layering here   as well. And then I recommend just playing around  with effects in here I think that it adds so much   to a graphic when you find the right effects  but I do recommend that once you find a font   and an effect that you like try staying consistent  throughout your graphics so that way you start to   really build your brand and people can recognize  your style. So the more you play around here again   choose your your brand colors and maybe save  those fonts to your canva branding kit. That   is a pro feature in canva but it is something that  I absolutely love having my color saved in there   above those primary colors is a game changer.  So once you're done playing around with all the   different effects and you find some really cool  ones definitely make sure to remember them, write   them down, so that way you can stay consistent.  I always tell clients that a goal to have is if   someone is scrolling through their Instagram feed  they want to recognize that this post is coming   from you before looking at the username so you  want it to be that recognizable. And I know we're   going through a lot of different effects but one  of the coolest ones is actually this curve feature   because it is so different and unique and fun to  play with on top of the other features. That's   all we're going to go through today I know it  was super quick but those little things are   what makes the difference between a good graphic  and a great graphics. One really quick tip before   you go for canva is I do recommend that if you're  going to use one of the pre-made templates make   sure to move around as much stuff as you can and  make it your own or else your content is going   to look just like everyone else's and you want  to stand out and be uniquely you so make sure   that you use these fun effects maybe play with  some layering but make sure the final product   represents you. Make sure to like this video if  it was helpful and then comment below what you   want to learn next and I can walk you through on  canva. Watch this video next to see which tools I   use to create content every single day. Thank you  so much guys, I will see you in the next video!
