hi there I wanted to show you one my favorite gadgets it is a pineapple corer and this is how it comes or the one that I bought this is how come so you've got your handle and then you've got three different sizes of cutters so that just depends on the size of the pineapple that you have and you just pop it on to the end twist it down and presto you've got the core out and it's all ready to eat so I thought I'd show you how to use it and so first we need a pineapple alright so this is my pineapple and the little tips that I have for choosing a pineapple I just reach in and pull out a center of leaf and if that comes out relatively easily so you just sort of pull and it came out quite easily it's not hanging on at super-tight then that is a ripe pineapple the other thing is to just on the bottom of it just give it a quick smell and it should smell like the pineapple nice and fresh and sweet and so that's the pineapple that I've got so the first thing you need to do use your knife and cut off the top just like that now this is also great if you want the bottom to use this for a container or cup to put pineapple back in or a drink or something like that so you don't need to go all the way through to the bottom so that's my cut pineapple and then I just need to choose the right size so this is a large one and I'm just going to put it over the top and as you can see that leaves a little bit of room all the way around because you're looking at the diameter if you were to look at a small one like that I would be leaving a lot of plateau behind or the medium one again if you wanted to really thick well that would still for me be leaving a little bit too much behind so I'm going to use the large one for this pineapple and I'm going to take the handle and shouldn't click it on and then all you do is pop that in the center so you can see the core in the pineapple so this is going to go over the top of that because that's going to take it that middle core as well and then you sort of press it in and then because it's got the little teeth that's just going to as it as you twist it's just going to cut through your pineapple so as you're twisting you just want to press down with a little bit of course I'm going to until it's just a little bit not being left-handed we'll see how this goes so the harder you press the thicker your ratings are going to be so if you'll really thin rings then just sort of mild press and keep twisting and but I like quite thick rings so I'm going to give it credit good press as I go round it kind of just sort of does a normal size ring really but you can vary it a little bit if you want and and then you're going to just I just pick it up and I put my hand on the bottom and what that allows me to do is I can feel when the core gets close to the bottom there we go so I can feel it sort of in the bottom and then I'm just going to kind of give it a quick turn and keep pulling up now and now with any luck my core is a little wiggle as well should just come straight back out there so you've got your pineapple rings so these are all sliced into rings you can see the different sizes of how hard I pushed so you can vary your ring size so that is your plant pull cut up and then this is left the little core in the middle so you can just pull that out if you want to reuse this and you can also pour out the lovely juice that you can see at the bottom it's a favorite in our household to drink and so that is the easiest way to pour pineapple and then with this you just pop the top back off turn it upside down and those is your look there well those are little grains or that's your pineapple stack if you want to cut it into individual rings you can just run your knife straight down like that and then you've got your individual powerful rings you can cut it into wedges as well I've seen some of the pineapple quarters come out with a wedge so once it's finished just press straight down it cuts into those lovely wedges for you already the brand that I have is a vaca vet and vacu VI m and it comes with the three different options I've also seen them just with the one and one sort of medium-sized ones so that sort of covers most sized pineapples but anyway that's how you use a pineapple corer really easy one of my favorite gadgets I absolutely love it in and I love pineapples so it works great and so yeah there you go thanks for watching my video if you enjoyed it please give me a thumbs up if you've got any questions put those in the comments below and please subscribe to see what else I'm up to thanks for watching you
