How to update Baseline in Primavera P6 || Primavera Scheduling || dptutorials

[Music] conference welcome to DB tutorials as per the schedule management his schedule is baseline once the schedule has been agreed by all these stakeholders by a rule baseline is something that we usually do not change but in some cases we may require to change it so in this video let us understand how to update baseline in primarily six let us consider a simple project like this which is having a baseline okay after few updates the project is delayed and you can see the difference when you compare the deep basement like this after consulting all the stakeholders of the key honor we need to take the cognition to update our baseline to make it identical with the done schedule now in this video I will be showing two ways to update our baseline let us see the first method in this method we will create a new baseline based on our and schedule and s in the current schedule as a new baseline so first of all we need to make a copy of the current schedule in our EBS structure and later you need to make a small correction in your configuration go to admin from the minibar people admit references in the L value tab at the bottom on the yield value calculation select from the drop down at completion values with current dates okay close this window go to menu bar click projects and click on maintain baselines click Add to create a new baseline that is our latest schedule okay you can name the based on name as BG how go to menu under projects select SN basements and from the project basement drop-down silat latest baseline that is v2 click OK now you can see the baseline has been updated in our Gantt chart which is as is the current schedule for difference now let's see the second method that is by restoring the basement go to the minibar under closets 8sn baselines from the project baseline drop-down menu select current project click ok go to when you got other posits now click maintain baseline select the baseline and click on this restore button now go to the projects window and we can see the baseline becoming a normal project update based on daemon which we can open and update whatever as per dish after finishing the required updates in our basement project you can convert it to become a baseline again open the main project go to closets from your neighbor and click on maintain basements click on Add button here now select the option convert another project to a new baseline of the current project choose the update based on d1 and click OK click close now your project will have a new baseline which is same as d this is same as per your requirement so press in this space you can update baselines in your primary p6 schedules so first if you have enjoyed this video tutorial please do give me a like share comment but for the more interesting videos please do subscribe baby to the audience Thank You friends thanks for watching you
