How To Unlock Brewster | 2.0 Update Animal Crossing New Horizons

it's ceo here and the 2.0 update was released a whole day early by nintendo if you're watching this video you can update right now i was live streaming on twitch when the update dropped and the most asked question i received was how do i get brewster well i will tell you how to get brewster right now also be sure to like this video if you're excited for brewster and subscribe to my channel for more animal crossing videos i'll be making a more detailed video about brewster and his cafe showing you all the little secrets you don't know about the roost yet so subscribe to my channel because you won't want to miss out on that video also the process to get brewster will be a little different for everyone depending on how much progress you've made in your game already but i'll be going over how to progress from each step to ensure you get to experience brewster as soon as you want no matter how much progress you've made on your island so far and the last disclaimer is that any steps that involve waiting until the next day or two in game you can wait in real time or you can time travel time traveling will not mess up your game or glitch anything i time travel during this entire process and my island was fine first to get booster you'll need to upgrade your museum tent this is obvious because you need the museum building in order for the roost to be built to upgrade from the museum tent to the museum building you need to donate a total of 15 bugs fish and fossils to blathers the next day your tent will upgrade and you'll have the museum building someone in my live stream said when they upgraded from the museum tent to building that the art exhibit was already built and this is not how it used to be so this could be the case for your museum as well but if your new museum building doesn't have the art exhibit yet you have to donate a total of 40 bugs fish and fossils to blathers which will then unlock the art exhibit the next day so let's say you have the fish bug art and fossil exhibit all unlocked but you still don't have rooster what you need to do is make sure you have at least one item specimen donated per category if you've gotten to this point you will already have at least one bug fish and fossil donated so the tricky part will be getting the one piece of real art you need to donate to the museum when you unlock the art exhibit you should find red wandering around your island next day then in which you can talk to him and climb aboard his boat docked on your secret beach and buy your first piece of real art but if you don't want to wait for that to happen there is a faster way but it does require 100 000 bells here's what you got to do go to your airport and fly to harvest island harv's new plaza will be open assuming you've already updated to version 2.0 and there you will see a bunch of lloyds waiting to take donations now go over to the second lloyd up from the bottom right side of the area and donate 100 000 bells this donation is what will unlock harvest plaza stand but it won't appear right away go to the next day and travel back to harvest island and you'll see red stand there i do want to note that you can only unlock one plaza stand per day so if you already unlocked a plaza stand for the day you'll have to wait until the next day to pay for red's plaza stand once you have red you can then go buy a piece of art but you have to make sure it's a piece of real art or you won't be able to donate it to blathers i'll link a real art fake art guide in the description so you don't accidentally buy a fake piece of art red will then mail you your piece of hopefully real art once you get it in the mail take it to blathers in the museum and donate it then either on the same day or the next talk to blathers again and he will suggest the idea of a cafe but in his same breath he mentions how no one has heard from brewster in a long time and then you have to go find him if you want him to come to your island this is when you go take a ride with captain to one of his mystery islands cabin will be waiting at the fishing dock on your island it costs 1 000 miles to ride with him so be sure you can afford it first once you ride with captain and arrive to his mystery island you will find brewster now all you have to do is go talk to him and he will offer to move to your island and build a cafe he'll even give you a little gift so now leave captain's island and go back to see blathers in the museum talk to him and he will say that the museum is ready to build the roost and that brewster will be moving to your island the next day the museum will be closed but the following day brewster will be all moved in so you can either wait the two days or time travel two days to skip the day when the museum is closed like i did here and no it's not cheating then log back onto your game after two days run over to your museum and there he is in all his brewster glory and that's how to get brewster to move on to your island this process will be a little different for everyone depending on how much progress you've made in your game already but i went over how to progress at every step to ensure
