How to turn OFF Google Photos sync 2024

two years ago I made this video showing how to turn off Google photosync since then Google photos has changed some of its names for example as one of the viewers have said Google photo doesn't call it any more backup and sync so what has changed if you open Google photos which is called photos app then you might get such a message saying backup stopped and that's because you're out of storage even though the backup is turned on basically it keeps pestering us to turn on the backup then it backs up all the photos and videos but not all because it fills up all the 15gb available and because your Gmail uses the same storage that is the free 15 GB it is very important to always allow some free storage on your Google photos so to turn off Google photos sync and backup tap on your profiles icon scroll down and then select photos settings so basic basically it used to be called backup and sync and now it is just called backup which makes sense because whatever gets backed up naturally gets also synchronized that means once it is backed up on your Google photos you could access it from anywhere by simply logging into your Google photos so tap on backup as you can see my backup is on to turn it off simply tap on here and now Google photos won't backup your photos and videos from your phone photos and videos that you have already backed up would stay on your Google photos now if I would tap on back and back you could see all the photos are still here and the photos and videos that have gotten Cloud icon are backed up on your Google photos account and or taking space to learn how to delete your Google photos from the cloud but not your phone please watch my other video link in the description I hope this video was helpful if it was please don't forget to subscribe to support my channel you can find my other videos in here and if you have any questions please let me know in the comments below
