HOW TO Turn Any Monitor Into Free Digital TV 2020

this video I'm going to show you how to turn any monitor into pretty men pretty much unlimited TV digital TV from any ole monitor you have now this is an old TV I have but if you have an old monitor it can work the same as well just that this is what I have at the moment now preferably you'd want an HDMI connection in this although you can get adapters so you can still still make it work but for this video we're doing the TV I'll switch it around here to show you right here on the back of my TV is the HDMI connector so it's best if you do have one of these in your monitor but if you don't you can always use a adapter an adapter like this this goes into your VGA and then it gives you the HDMI connector right here and also has that little hole in the side which is an audio output so you can essentially turn even an old monitor with just the VGA output like this with this adapter into an HDMI monitor first thing we want to do is get your HDMI TV stick or TV box if you prefer I have a TV stick I like the convenience of the TV stick it's pretty small and you just hold it in your hand like this and you can see it's just a pretty small comparable I would say to a USB stick other than you know it is obviously a little bit bigger than a USB stick but still quite small as you can carry it around with its portability in your hand and so on so this is what I'm going to use and I have the power and you see this is just the power adapter right here on the one end to give it some power and I have on this end as well the receiver for the remote keyboard the mini keyboard I'm going to use on this end I have plugged in the HDMI connector which I'm going to plug in right now so take the HDMI and put up into the HDMI connection wherever that is on your computer mine is right there so now that I have that connected the TV back around or the monitor essentially that's all we're dealing with here is a monitor so now I have the TV stick right here connected to the monitor HDMI connection and I just have to plug this TV stick in to give it some power so I'll do that trying to do this all with one hand and hold iPad so bear with me plugging that stick in the plug there and here we have the TV stick and with the power now plugged in it comes on but you see the operating system of the stick it said smart TV and in box just reading the TV stick here and by simply plugging in an HDMI TV stick to your monitor you have instant digital TV channels depending on how you have your HDMI TV stick programmed it's just that easy I'm using this remote right here it's a mini keyboard I'll try to put all these items in the description below should you like to check some of them out I have this TV stick of course program with Kodi TV if you're new to this whole idea of free TV well you may want to check out some of my other videos how I tell you how to install even on this particular TV stick here I have a video showing how to install this Kodi system on it I have a step-by-step so you might want to check that out but this video just telling you that you can turn any monitor like such into free TV just by simply plugging in an HDMI TV stick to the back of your monitor as long as you have an HDMI connection and then as long as you have this program properly you have for your free TV and of course you need internet so I'm connected to the internet and then it's just as simple as going through how you have your set up and simply finding things you like to watch again this app here is the mob drill app just to show you quickly this is just one app there's so many more or less click on channels this keep in mind this is just the one app called a mob drill app or apk click on all channels and you can see almost all of these in my experience working these are live channels but of course with the kodi TV as you experience it more there are many other repos that you can add to find all kinds of TV and movies more or less on demand let's try the first one ABC as long as you're connected to the interview you need to be internet and ABC so to click out of that I'll click on the next one down which is HD TV most of these I just find work there is HDTV just going to hit escape out of that again just showing you how basically everything in the module act just works when I still go to Bravo watches there is Bravo's working fine hit the Escape key on that you can see these are live channels to the mob drill but of course if you're just learning about Kody and we hit the escape button on this to go back if you're just learning about Kody and free TV you can see there's all kinds of things you can program I have Exodus in Phoenix one channel see Cloud Spectre a lot of other things as well as YouTube and TED Talks animal TV all just tons of tons and tons of things to watch that you can incorporate into your kodi to watch as well so that gives you a brief idea but the general idea of this video was to let you know how you can turn any monitor that you have an old monitor laying around into free TV just use something like this right here with it which is a HDMI TV stick and turn your old monitor into some free TV this is a nice TV stick that I find I find good
