HOW TO TRANSPOSE AUDIO IN LOGIC PRO X

foreign [Music] what's going on YouTube be making Basics back again with another Dope video if you're new to the channel go ahead and subscribe because they're coming back to back with bangers today's video I'll be showing you how to transpose any piece of audio in logic protein let's go ahead and jump in now basically I'm gonna start with an audio uh track here and what I'm gonna do is we'll go through the Apple loops and I'm just going to drag anything in here so doesn't have to be you know let's just do this let's check it out all right cool so I'm just gonna join this together real quick and then now I'm gonna show y'all the simplest way to transpose this so literally um you can just push option hold down option and then push the up or down arrow thank you foreign thing is if you put shift option and up it takes per shot and down then it will pretty much transport poses up and down an octave so that's pretty dope it's a dope tip you can also come over here in your inspector window and if you click right there you're going to see transpose you can move it up and down that way too which I thought that was pretty dope because normally you know you have to you can only transpose like midi so the fact that you can transpose um you know your audio files that's going to save a whole lot of time so so if you have a loop and you just want to drag it drop it in it's the same you know BPM and you don't want to have to go to the step of putting in the quick sampler you can just come over here drag it drop it in um and literally just hold down option you have to click on the track and then push it down and up or down [Music] you can actually see where it's going up or down there too another cool thing you could do here is you could chop this um audio up so you'll have this one at the high pitch wing and then you can actually hold down option and put it down some on just this one saves a whole lot of time when it comes to chopping up things make sure you go ahead and head over to my site beemakingbases.com grab yourself of course a kit or a template or grab everything that's on there we have everything bundled there as well make sure you subscribe to the channel thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next video we're out [Music]
