[Music] welcome everyone is an iphone 13 and today i will show you how to sync music from your computer to the device so if you are one of those people that still uses physical music as in like physically copy to your device uh so you don't need internet connection then this is specifically for you and to be honest i'm one of those people i adore having music on my device rather than needing constant internet connection so no need for any premium subscriptions and any crap like that everything just works go into your music and you can play whatever the heck you want so anyway um let's get started you'll need itunes on your windows and if you're using a mac just open up your music application i believe that's how it's called and on the music application uh you will also see your iphone and if you're using windows you will need to have itunes and when you plug it in it should show up right here there we go and additionally um if you're using that windows you can download itunes only through microsoft store so once you get it from there you can launch it and everything should go smoothly now before i used to say that itunes is limiting i mean it still kind of is but at least they changed one thing so nowadays you have choice of syncing your music and also still have the freedom to copy it manually which was not the case before and until recently i thought that it still worked like that so i was wrong about it so i'm just gonna clarify that right now you can do both at the same time nowadays so um now to describe how each one of them works uh the easy or well the longer way but one that i actually prefer to do is by selecting each song manually as you can see you can select whichever song you want and then you will just grab it drag it over drop it and you're set you can see it copies it and now it's done so if i open up my music application go to library and for instance artist you can see there's the two artists i yeah i only copied two artists apparently but let's see songs there's a little bit more so how many is here seven and we got yep seven songs as you can see these are the songs that i copied right now so there is one way you can do it manually selecting each song or just entire like groups of them if you wanted to or all of them if you want to so you wanna select all as you can see and from there drag it and drop it now this is 280 songs which will take probably like five minutes copies i'm not gonna go into it but that's one way now the other way you can do it is by going into your phone selecting music sync remove and sync and now you have two options of syncing it now the way this works it is quite convenient because for instance you sync up your entire library if you have uh the space on your device this one almost certainly does uh so if you go with sync entire library whenever you add new songs to itunes and you connect your device to your computer it will automatically add the new songs that have added to itunes to your device it will always keep it at the same state as it is in itunes so that's kind of neat now you can additionally go into just selective selective sync which will allow you to either select playlist if you have playlists i don't that's why this is empty you can select artists and scroll down you have genres and albums and if as an example you add something like imagine dragons whatever pentatonic royal deluxe whatever i just selected a couple right and you do apply now apparently unknown error has occurred yet it's sinking i'm just gonna let it sink so right now it's thinking 38 songs as you can see and i am thinking only artists right now so you can see them right here right now they just changed appeared uh additionally the songs that we have put on manually got removed and that's kind of the downside of it if you go with sync secondly it will remove whatever you have manually added to the device now like i mentioned you can still reselect whatever you want like so drag it over and boom and add nine more songs so that is allowed but going back to the sync option as you can see i have right now synced for rs and if as an example i add more songs from one of those artists and then plug in my device it will automatically add the new songs that are in itunes to the iphone which does actually provide a little bit of an easier way to deal with things i it's really convenient to be honest uh now that it actually allows you as well adding songs manually so yeah uh honestly now i would probably recommend you to go with this method and if you want to add some songs manually but uh for instance there are some new artists and you don't want to re-sync it you can just manually drag it over and drop it which is probably going to be the easiest way additionally if you go with syncing entire library whatever you add to it it will automatically be always added to your iphone but anyway concluding this as you can see uh that's basically how you can sync your music it's fairly simple and straightforward and once you sync it up you can basically disconnect from anything that you want the music is stored locally on your phone so all you really need to do is pop in some headphones and get going listening to your music so anyway if you found this video helpful don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching [Music]
