How to transfer files from phone to sd card

[Music] hi guys lindsay in this video i'm going to show you how we can transfer our files from our internal storage to our sd card and there are two ways of doing this you can do this on your computer and also you can do this on your phone so in this video i'll be showing you how to do this on your phone you will need to look for my files or file manager it depended on the phone it may name differently but it's basically the same thing so we have my files here and you can see internal storage and also sd card it is also showing us how much space we have on the sd card and how much we have on the internal storage so whatever we want to copy onto the sd card we can do so images videos audios documents downloads installation files right so let me go into my internal storage and what i really want to transfer is we can move these files here to our sd card i'm going to select all these files you can see here so guys you can actually select all the files in which you wish to transfer music recorder voice recorder whatsapp business we have a number of them selected and we are going to move them to our sd card but what i want to show you is that we are on the internal storage so we need to go back and we need to go on the sd card then we need to click move here so it will move over all the files onto the sd card in which we selected so this is how you can easily transfer your files from your phone to your sd card depending on the file that you selected it may take some time depending on the amount of files you are copying over or moving over it may take some time and we are currently moving over some files here to free up the internal storage we have a 32 gigs sd card in this phone so we are copying over pictures videos music to the sd card and this may take some time but basically this is how you do it what i'm going to do is i'm going to resume the video when this is almost finished as you can see we have a long way to go it is at seven percent at the moment so guys it's actually finished and as you can see we now have one gig of files on our sd card or sd card didn't have much we have less stuff on off internal storage this is how actually you copy your stuff look at these pictures i'm going to copy this folder i'm going to move my picture folder to sd card you select sd card and you move here so that's just the procedure in which you want to use and because there is a picture folder here you will have to merge them together move and replace so it will definitely copy all your pictures and videos to this folder this is how you do it basically i hope that this video was helpful to you and this may take some time so what i'll be doing i'll resume the video when this is finished so guys we are at 98 percent so we have finished so we just copied over six gigabytes worth of files as you can see we know i have seven gigs on our sd card so basically we copied some files onto our sd card so to conclude this video this is how you do it do like share and subscribe
