in this video I'm going to show you an easy way to tie PVA mesh sticks I've found a really simple way of getting the knots nice and tight really close to the bag to make a really solid and compact bag so let's show you how to do that now here are the components needed to tie up a PVA mesh bag or a stick first of all the PVA itself I use the cord boilie funnel-web as I find this really easy to use it gets a lot great and it melts lovely and fast secondly scissors to cut the mesh when we're making it and lastly some bait to go in this is just crushed boilie into some crumb there's a mixture of gnash purple monster squid mainline cell and pallet racks jungle boil is in here so let's show you items start making this now first of all we have the PVA if you if it doesn't come with a knot pre-tied in the end already then tie one is this will be the main part of tying the PVA bag second step is to put in the bait now we need to put the bait into the funnel-web to do this I just get the crime in my hand and simply just tip it in it does make a bit of a mess but then there's crumbs so what do we expect with that we now have the boilie crumb in the funnel web all we do is put our hand over the end get the compressor and push it down nice and hard this compresses it makes it into a nice compact stick we then push it at the end like so making sure that the mash is nice and tight you can then remove the the compressor and put that to one side we're then pull off a nice amount of PVA and we twist it at the top to make sure it's tight we then tie simple overhand knot to form the top of the PVA now to close this down I found a nice effective way to get this really tight all you do put your finger through the loop that you've created and simply draw the knot down so the PVA bag make sure to pull it nice and tight once we've got it to the top of the PVA bag like so we then just remove our finger from the loop and pinch the top of the knot and now that is formed a nice compact solid little PVA mesh stick and then before we cut this we tie in another knot the same way just putting our finger through the loop to draw it down nice and tight I can actually get these knots to touch by using this method it's really good there we go these knots a nice and tight can I just draw on the PVA again and then we can just use the scissors just to cut between the two knots that's I finished PVA mesh bag and the system is ready to go again now when I'm about to cast the PVA stick out into the water all I do is hook it on I don't thread it down the hook link as I find that a bit too fiddly but with the hook in is nice and quick and simple all you do paste the hook through the bag like so give it a little twist and then hook it again just like that I've never had this fall off during the cast it stays there it'll present' the bait right around your hook bait hopefully you found this video helpful remember to Like comment and subscribe in the meantime enjoy your fishing thank you for watching
