How to Stop Glasses Fogging Up While Wearing a Face Mask! | Glendair Dental Alfreton

hi everyone my name's katie i'm one of the dentists here at glenda since being back at work um a lot of my patients have asked how exactly i wear a mask and stop my glasses from fogging up so i thought i'd do a quick video it might work for you it might not but we'll give it a try so here at work we're wearing the regular kind of surgical mask that has a little bit of wire that means you can mold it around now the temptation is to put the mask on and keep it low down because you think then you won't be able to fog up but unfortunately you do so i tend to wear my mask very very high almost underneath on my lower eyelids and then my glasses fit over the top creating a better seal and then they don't fog up okay so i'd say if you've got something like this or one with a metal piece you want to be wearing it as high up as possible and pinching that against there and popping your glasses over the top another thing that i did see online was an idea of using just a regular piece of tissue the theory being that you roll up the tissue talk amongst yourselves there we go and pop the tissue inside the mask pop that over the top now this time i'm not gonna squish the nose piece as much to try and show you now i get a little bit of fogging with this but the idea is that the tissue deflects the breath downwards but also absorbs a little bit of the moisture so for those fabric masks and that kind of thing see if that works for you anyway i hope it helped see you later
