what's going on guys in this video I'm going to show you how to start an affiliate marketing business on Amazon you guys can start this business with no money and there's also absolutely no way you can lose money you guys can grow this into a huge six-figure business which makes passive income meaning it makes some money while you sleep let's begin so basically what affiliate marketing is is you guys selling a product for a company and they pay you a commission for each product that's sold but the thing is you don't have to actually sell anything everything is automated so the you guys remember back in the 90s of people will come to your house and try to sell you stuff say for example a vacuum cleaner every time they will sell you one they will get a commission so the way that it would work is you would have a huge company like uber who makes vacuum cleaners say each vacuum cleaner costs $250 instead of spending money on employees and marketing campaigns they would allow regular people to sign up for their affiliate program and then they would sell those vacuum cleaners in exchange for comission usually around 10% so these people would then go knock on your door and try to sell you these products and every time they got a sale they got a commission the problem was that there was a cap as to how many could sell per month it would be pretty hard to sell over three a day or over 100 a month so you would have a limit of around $2,500 per Monday you can make they would also be trading their time for money which is not the best idea today with the internet affiliate marketing is much different you have the biggest company on the internet which is Amazon who has an affiliate program you can sign up for their affiliate program and Amazon will give you a special link to any product on their website if you post that link anywhere on the internet and you get a sale you get a commission let me show you guys exactly how it works so check this out guys approximately two weeks ago I made a YouTube video showing how to make jewelry wax with a more sellable 3d printer in the description I posted an Amazon link to this product anytime somebody clicks on this link and buys it I get a commission so if somebody clicks on this link and buys any product on Amazon whether there's toilet paper an expensive laptop I get a commission alright you guys so the Amazon affiliate program is called Amazon Associates so to sign up we're simply gonna go on Amazon com scroll all the way down right here Wes has become an affiliate we're gonna click on that you're gonna need two things your social and your bank accounts as soon as you guys do that you can start posting links right away so when you guys are done signing up you're gonna see a site strip right here on top of the page and getting links is very easy what we're simply going to type in the product we're gonna click on the product and to get the link we're simply gonna click on text and we're gonna copy this right here and you're ready to post on your videos so the way it works is that if somebody clicks on your link and within 24 hours buys any product on Amazon the product can be completely unrelated to the item in the link you will get a commission for each item sold also somebody clicks on your link and adds it to cart and buys it within 90 days you will get a commission for it so let's go on the main page of Amazon Associates and right here you will see all your sales so I posted the link on the tent and within two weeks I got points in sales so Amazon will only update this total earnings number after each item is shipped right now 9 out of 14 items shipped so when this number updates is probably gonna be around $35 so in two weeks this one video made around $35 and commissions that's approximately $70 a month we're gonna click on earning reports and right here you will see the exact items the people bought so as you guys can see the last item somebody bought is some kind of showerhead which is completely unrelated to the 3d printer and I got a commission for it and you guys can see right here this is the item now on top of that the YouTube video also maybe around ten dollars in two weeks so that's not the $20 a month so this videos gonna make about something $90 and one more keep in mind this is a new YouTube channel and this video got under two thousand views which is nothing YouTube is gonna keep pushing this video to more people and that's why YouTube is the best way to do it fill your marketing so let me show you guys exactly how to turn this into a huge business like I said there's no risk in this and you guys will not need to invest any money but you guys will need a couple hundred to a thousand dollars to start so what you guys gonna do is pick a niche for example you want to review electronics so you're gonna go to a store like Staples Best Buy or any other electronics store buy the item review it and then return it to try to do around three to four videos a day so that by the end of the month you will have around 100 videos so if you guys make 100 videos a month in each video make some $90 that's $9,000 a month if you guys do that every month for a year well you guys can do the math now keep in mind for YouTube you have to have a thousand subscribers and four thousand watch hours before you get monetized so that might take you a few months so it's very simple you guys go buy an item you make a video on it you return it for cash and then you go on to the next one it's very important to make videos they actually help people and add value let's talk about the four ways that this business brings income the first way is obviously Amazon Associates Amazon second you get YouTube ad revenue the third way is when your channel becomes big enough people will start paying you to promote their products and services and the fourth way is reselling those products which can sometimes be expensive depending on
