I am 110 percent in the sea I grew up in the cotton fields that's what I remember most about my my growing up is is working if you haven't seen a cotton feeling in the winter when it's snow light or when it's right after it's big then you really haven't seen Tennessee and you don't know us we're there if our neighbors need something and we're there if somebody 20 miles down the road needs something we're there and I just love that about Tennessee I think they should not just see Broadway you know I mean I know we're renowned for our country music but but it is our capital we have some of them most gorgeous parks right here inside the city it shows what how proud we are of our state and I think they should really get to know Tennessee and you can do all that in Nashville and there's people from everywhere here don't get me wrong that come here to work but your basic Tennessean that's come to nationals from the country and they bring it with them if I was to find a million dollars on the side of the road it would be great but I think most nice billions that are from the country would would go try to find who it belong to I don't think we would keep it so what a great day I don't think that would happen it's it's it's our values it's what we we grew up with you know and we bring that to the city and that's just it makes a better city I'm proud of the way I talk but I don't think I can teach it to anybody to me I'm just I'm normal talking but most people like the way I talk they'll say it's amazing but to me I don't have a slide I think northerners have the same to me they talk funny how do they turn really I don't know really fast and I talked fast but it's in a slow draw if they talk fast I understand what they're saying I'm like what I don't think it's something you can teach them it's something we're born with there's so many Tennesseans in the city that have come from other places but I would say it does rub off you might slide into y'all I was glad when if you ain't into the dictionary okay because it's always been a word to me ain't gonna do this or I'm not it was not I will not write I don't use the word Ewings now that's an East Tennessee word when I went to East Tennessee I thought what is that my dad talked it my grandmother talked it I remember them saying and if they want to help somebody it was I'm gonna hope somebody not help I'm gonna hope somebody now I broke myself from saying that because it's so wrong when I talk on the phone I try to be proper because most the time they'll say huh and forget all that computer stuff where they listen to you and they repeat what you say don't ever try that with my time because there's no telling what will come out it will not be what I say so those things are not on my phone because it's it's just it's disaster I was coming to Tennessee Earth I was visiting Tennessee I would try to get on the back roads in Tennessee and see the real Tennessee because that's where we love our neighbor and we really love the people that come to see Tennessee I mean I've never really met a person I didn't just love that they they were coming to get a piece of what I've had all my life in the United States I think it's the best [Music]
