what's up i'm back in this tutorial i'm going to show you how to set up the javafx 17 and the java development kit version 17. so let's get started um the first thing i'm going to show you is where you can download the desired necessary files to set up the javafx 17. here at the opengfx.io you you can download the javafx sdk scroll down and look for download all right here at the java fx version you must select the 17 long term support operating system so i'm going to select windows because i'm using windows and architecture i'm going to select the 64-bit and sdk so i can download this file but i'm not going to download this because um i already have one and let's proceed to the jdk 17. and i'm going to provide the link in the description so you can download it easily here at the java version select the java 17 long term support operating system architecture and at the java package you must select the jdk fx for javafx i downloaded the zip file so i can extract it and i can easily find the file so at the netbeans we're going to set up the java fx sdk click on tools and select the libraries to add the javafx sdk here at the library manager click new library and i already have the javafx 17 here so click new library and name it name the library library as fx17 or javafx17 click on ok and click on the add jar or folder find the file the java fx sdk so here i'm going to select the library and select all and add and click on ok that's it so let's proceed to the javafx i mean the java development kit click on tools again and select the java platforms and i already have one click on add platform to add new select the java standard edition click on next and find the the file the jdk this one is mine the zulu version 17. click on next and [Music] that's it the platform name is already used i'm going to name this as jdk version 17 and click on finish that's it so close and what i'm going to do now is to create a new javafx plus project create a new javafx project and select the javafx platform click on next and i'm going to name it name it as test and select the javafx platform to jdk version 17 and finish okay the next step is to select click the packet project and right click to add the um javafx sdk select the libraries select compile class path add library and select the fx17 add and go to the run tab module path add library fx17 and click ok that's it so i'm going to run the file all right our application is running and running on jdk 17 say hello world all right to check the jdk version i'm going to remove this and system that get property is it property okay and java that runtime version run again okay say hello world okay now we are running uh the jdk 17 version 17 long term support all right that's it um i hope you learned something new in this tutorial please don't forget to like subscribe comment and share and i will see you in the next video
