How to setup GGM Remapper - Mouse to Controller | Mouse and Keyboard Aim Assist

hello everyone today I'm going to be teaching you how to install the ggm remapper software for mouse and keyboard a assist on apex Legends first you'll need these three prerequisite files gm. RAR interception. RAR and SCP driver interface V 1.0 you want to start by extracting the interception. RAR file going to the folder double clicking in and then going to command line installer you want to copy the directory of this by pressing right above install interception. EXC where it says the names of the files this may be different depending on your operating system but this works for any version of Windows 10 copy this and then type CMD in your windows search and then press run as administrator allow yes and then type CD space and then rightclick and it should enter you into the directory of the interception command line installer then you want to go back to to the interception folder right click this and then open with notepad the install command. txt then you want to copy this go here and then right click and hit enter it'll say that you can't write to system drivers if you already have it installed but if you don't have it installed then it should show up with a success message you can now close this and then go back to all your prerequisite files go to SCP driver interface and extract the file as well double click go to driver installer and SCP driver installer.exe and press install driver I've already done this so I don't need to do it so I'll just close this for now then you want to go to ggm raar you want to extract the file which I've already done it may prompt you for a password this should be within the email that you got from patreon or whichever retail that you bought this from and then go to ggm double click in and then press ggm remapper v75 you want to double click remapper exe at this stage it might prompt you with some kind of error talking about how you need Windows runtime which you can download officially from Microsoft it should open the windows prompt and send you to your uh default web browser where you can follow along with the steps and download it very easily but I've already done that so I don't need to do it uh It'll ask you for these licensing details an email a password and a key I have all these censored out for obvious reasons as I've already logged in but once you enter all of these you want to press the activate button and then it should reopen this window then you reenter all of these details the key is the most important here and then you can press log in or register it'll say one of the two you log in and you should have the remapper window open right here once you're in the main area of the program you should see all of these different options right here if you try and click on one and it tells you that you need to upgrade your license then you'll probably just need to restart the remapper .exe program and you should have access though you do need the elite tier license if you want to unlock mouse and keyboard aim assist once you go here to set this up so that you can actually use it in game you'll need to set all these binds by default it should be jump in space and crouch on left control but of course I've changed this here um you'll want to set a toggle on or off key this is actually quite important as if you do if you don't do this then you'll basically be unable to do anything once you open the game I'll put my toggle off button to F7 and then I'll select let's see L control as my shift mode your shift mode is what you'll be using to do inventory management and to loot death boxes and while the remapper is on if you hold that button it should restore your native mnk functionality you want to save this and then enable remap and then toggle on you'll know that the toggle on worked if you can't move your mouse for me right now I'm swiping my mouse around it's doing nothing but if I hold down control it gives me access to my mouse and if I let go it's gone again and if I press F7 right here then I have my mouse back and if I press F7 again then my mouse is gone all right so now that you have ggm remapper actually configured properly with all of your appropriate binds the there's only a few more steps that you need before you're actually able to play ggm in game first you want to go to your in-game settings and set your mouse and keyboard sensitivity to the lowest possible value though this is only applicable if you're planning to use this for Jitter aiming if you're not going to use Jitter aim then you don't need this then you want to go to your controller sensitivity and copy these settings you want to set menu cursor speed to the maximum possible value hip fire look sensitivity to seven look sensitivity in the eight and down site section to two linear on your response curve and then look dead zone at none then we can go into the advanced look controls turn this on all these other settings they don't matter at all you want to go to your per Optics and clone values similar to these These are mostly up to personal preference you don't really need to copy mine you can if you want but there are also recommended settings that are provided alongside the guide that you should have got when you purchased the software you want to make sure that you do not turn this off just go back and then turn off custom look controls and it should bleed through to your normal sensitivity now you can just press whichever hotkey you decided to use to turn on mouse and keyboard a assist for me happened to be F7 and then you should see that the button hints in the bottom turn from mouse and keyboard to controller the final test to make sure that your aim assist is working is to move side to side and see if your cursor moves independently of what you do and in my case you can see that they are and now you have successfully unlocked a assist on mouse and keyboard all of your other normal binds should still work you can see that I just press three to instant holster I can press Q to use my tactical all right now you can go towards the box you can open them as you normally would here and then you can see that you can still use your scroll wheel but you can't really move your mouse at all in the box now to fix that what you need to do is you need to press the Shi whatever shift mode key that you set in ggm rem rapper in my case it was left control and then when I hold this down and I move my mouse you can see that it sets me back to M andk looting I can select weapons move around like this select anything that I want and then once I get out I just need to stop pressing it and I'm back to being on controller there will of course be a little bit of a learning curve with the software like there is a pretty much anything but after a little bit in the range or playing a few games then you should pretty much have all the advantages of having controller a assist on mouse and keyboard uh if you have any further questions regarding the software any pre-sale inquiries or anything in the setup
