hey guys welcome to my channel I'm Ramon and this episode I wanted to talk about how to send videos to clients this will be informative if you're creator that's sending videos to clients or if you're a client that is wondering how your videos will be sent to you so a little bit of background as I began to do more video work I needed to think about how it would send completed videos to clients for photography I normally use pixie sitcom which presents galleries of photographs beautifully to the end user however pixie set as of this moment does not have an option for certain videos to clients so earlier this month I began researching a few low-cost video sharing platforms for delivering video so in this video I'm going to talk about three great platforms to use for sending video to clients number one on the list is dropbox dropbox is probably the most widely known among the file sharing hosts the basic plan provides two gigabytes of storage which doesn't seem like much of you're producing a lot of video work I think a simple hack around this would be to create a separate Dropbox accounts for each client this will help them keep their projects organized and self to contain in their own storage areas on Dropbox the only issue I think is that if you wanted to send revisions and using that same Dropbox as if they're not careful that space could really quickly add the second platform I wanted to talk about was Google Drive Google has some of the best services and as the storage platform Google Drive is very highly regarded however one drawback I've had using Google Drive is permissions when it comes to sharing sometimes it doesn't go as smoothly when you're trying to share video content when it comes to using Google Drive however Google Drive is still fantastic when it comes to sharing large video files the last one that I want to talk about was we transfer the website we transfer is another online storage service that allows you to send videos to clients similar to Dropbox the service allows you to load up to 2 gigabytes of data in contrast to Dropbox you do not need to register in order to use the actual service so to wrap up these are just a few options for sending videos to clients there are other options that I think are great such as Vimeo and from smash which allows clients to view the video and in their browser before downloading so if you have any other tips and recommendations for video hosting services that you have used in the past please let me know so finally I would like to say thank you for watching today's episode if you enjoyed this episode please subscribe and share the channel thank you and I'll see you guys the next one
